I think the Oba is partizan,
1. Failure to query Oshiomhole when his thugs attack the governor in Oshiomhole's home town.

2. Failure to query those supporters who booed the PDP and their entourage who came to visit him in his own domain.

3. Failure to call Kabaka to order by letting him know that he should learn to respect elderly people, cause Obaseki is older than Tony Kabaka, and Obaseki is the Head of government and should be respected.

4. Failure to query Oshiomhole who failed to act as a father, who was supposed to be matured.

I can go on and on... Abeg Edo people does not support the Oba.
Oshiomhole was once helped by people, so he helping others is no news.
Obaseki politics aside have been a huge blessing to Edo State.

Edo people distance themselves from the Oba's statement.

The Oba messed up by specifically mentioning the deputy governor without also reprimanding Kabaka, Oshiomhole who's thugs attacked the governor.
Seeing such a scenario you can't expect the other side to keep quiet.
I specifically do not support the Oba on this matter, this can heat up the fight in the state.

I don't think so, he already warned all parties involved hoping they would listen but called out Shaibu probably because the Oba has been briefed before. He said " they said you're the tough one inside" I don't have anything to do with both parties as most of them are as useless as used diapers but i think if the Oba wants to be bias, he could have called out Obaseki instead of Shaibu.

He is persived to be bias, because he was mute when thugs attacked the governor when he went for campaign in Oshiomhole's Town, failing to reprimand Kabaka who was insulting a sitting governor.

But my only concern is the way the Oba handled the peace process, which is a bad omen from the Palace, by specifically reprimanding only the governor and the deputy, was wrong Judgment which can heat up the fight as day draws near.
Failure on his part to also reprimand Kabaka, Oshiomhole who went about sending thugs to attack the governor most especially from Oshiomhole's village was a wrong step taken by the Oba.

From this scenario, it will be a persive sign that the Palace was aware and supported attack on the governor and other PDP entourage who were booed by APC supporters when they came to the Palace for blessings.

It high time the Palace knows that the voice of the people is the voice of God.

So I urge the Palace to be neutral and not let sentiments draw Edo State backward.

The Federal government is adopting the wrong approach in handling the issues. With what am feeling it going to be a mini war situation, but I would like Ibo leaders to come together and find a way in bringing solution between the Government and IPOB

If I were to be Ize-Iyamu I would vie to become a member of the National Assembly either Senate or House of Representative.
Hence, he can start on something, that would give in an edge so that he can get the peoples trust, especially since he believes he is a grass root man.

The vote he got in the previous election was clearly from Esan Land and sympathy vote from the Edo South. If we could remember APC was still new to the game, things were difficult, so Nigerians regretted ever voting APC into power then.
Lastly he got some votes from some PDP strong holds in Edo North.
Unfortunately this factors are no longer here with him.

I think the Federal government is not using the right tools, if care is not taking it will become a tensed situation, I bet it if it gets to that point our security agencies will become handicapped.

Take a look at Insurgency in the North, our security agencies are still finding it hard to adjust.
Secondly, IPOB protesters should look for a better way of expressioning their grievances.

Conclusion
The Federal government need to find a different and better way of resolving this IPOB issues.
