UrennaNkoli:only in Nigeria will you buy a home worth 220million naira but still depend on borehole for utilities..... we need serious change in this country ..... |
PentiumPro:Our great country has now woken up by a sane a leader with integrity and a true patriotic Nigerian. Let us support GMB to get all the loots back to fix our roads, fix our schools, hospitals and invest in the future of this country. Awaiting the national apology and vindication of court-martialed young soldiers but their corrupt superiors and chiefs. Service chiefs building estates and mansions that their salary cannot justify. It seems Nigeria has come back and is seeking its "pound of flesh".... Long live justice, GMB & osibanjo. Let us think like Nigerians .....not tribalistic....and make this country great for all of us. |
can you post pictures |
spyder880:what is average rent for a 2BR flat ( new build) in areas like Emene, Awkwunanaw , Elim estate areas of Enugu today. I am looking at this idea as next venture, as the ROI may be better that 3BR flat for rental purpose. Looking at the new demographic of the young and mobile Gen X . Opinions?? |

herald9:I will advise to seek expert medical opinion . Side effects of drugs can be as benign as a rash or as significant as kidney failure, swelling of the throat and closing off your airway, or peeling of skin or worse a fake tablet made of dangerous chemical substance----- -it all depends on your immune system. seek immediate medical attention and you will be glad to see another day and talk about it ! |
oliverjiad:How much for clearing of a 2008 GL 450 Mercedes SUV....Using Tin Can Island....Using shipping line AES |
sweatlana:Yes he can.......Let us as Nigerians move over to the realm of possibilities and not continue to be spectators of the world. Enough of being tickled/mesmerized by a trip to Dubai , London, NY , Auckland ...who gives a damn, except their shallow followers with need to boost their inferiority complex. Yes building a health ctr, sending 2-3 of the brightest in the community to medical school with a signed agreement to come back as GP, OB-Gyn and serve the community for the number of yrs sponsored, will go a long way than cash in hands of the constituents ...Now expand this idea to other sectors and watch the result in 5-7yrs (baring any lecturer strikes) !!! |
brabus:Brabus can I get contact for the contractor for this custom wooden door |

magicminister:@ magicminister . Think about it , these victims had no chance at survival. the best chance is what happened in the first 10mins of event ----resuscitation. If you were there what can you do ? Administer measures to stop bleeding---torniquets . If the victim is not breathing ---then CPR and Advanced cardiac life Support (ACLS) mesures. Now how many young men & women are taught these simple measures in school (JSS) or universities . How many protest the poor zoning of filling stations for petrol and cooking gas refills in or close to residential areas. Any inspections by state or local govt to ensure compliance So these are areas where you and I could make a difference , get involved in our local politics and talk to our representatives. Know these elected officials and send signed petitions to change our communities so we or our loved ones will not be the next victims of this type of tragedy. !! |
SeverusSnape:Tell that to families of IDP and our dead gallant soldiers......... RIP patriots!!! |
Spyder, let us fence ASAP.... thank goodness dangote has reduced cement price with immediate effect. If cement price is down and fencing completed, any surplus can be rolled over into other projects in the facility . fencing will add immediate value to this estate. So I will suggest we give a deadline for the ideas to come in, followed by the voting, then we adopt the price point with most votes. Let us get going on this issue ASAP. |
Agree . An overview of near-by attractions, landmarks will be great to see. Await layout of plots . |
Splashme:Buhari and Nigeria needs Amechi and his likes now than ever. ..... The WORD is ACCOUNTABILITY-----not dodgy book-keeping !!! This is the era of strenghtening institutions to do their job without interference ...This is what will lead us out of this corrupt mess not politics or laws for personalities....We need brave ex-governors who have stood up against the past govt to shows us where they are hiding the LOOTEd funds and the dubious ways they have done it , so policy will be in place to stop it!!! Amechi is like the whistle-blower in last administration , so the way this brave citizens are treated will embolden others to step forward and so we can all be PATRIOTIC again and not treat our nation /Nigeria as a "after thought". God bless the Fed Rep of Nija |
ifyalways:@ifyalways............ I agree with your points . Rewriting the rules on demarcations: Duplex, Bungalows , blocks of flat after the purchase of blots will not bode well for those who strategically bought plots . this may turn lots more people off from the estate . Let the restrictions on demarcation stand because it was part of the advert to buy into this estate. let there be restrictions of building heights -building code, otherwise this place will be unattractive to future investors or homeowners in future . Gated estate will set this place apart in a security conscious country. perimeter fence and graded roads will be a good start |
ifyalways:Interesting ideas for this estate . i agree with most of the rules for estate but will like to point out some areas of different opinion: - Limit of Flat /plot and height of building is a great idea. This uniform height helps the aesthetics of any estate. - parking inside compd is the expectation but Parking in street for Less than 24hrs should be granted to tenants/plot owners. For those who may have visitors, I will suggest allow 72hrs parking permit ( wknd visit) obtained from security upon entry to estate. For street parking beyond 72 hrs should attract a high fine/towing. - Each tenant or residents of estate will be contacted before their visitor is allowed to enter estate . The visitor is given a token that will be returned upon exit otherwise the vehicle should be deemed trespassing and handed to police. tenats vehicles to have Id stickers - Present layout of estae was sold based on grouping of building types. This should not be changed as most of us bought based on this grouping : Duplex Vs Bungalow Vs Multiple flat - Rule 3 should be according to ECDTA rules . ( setbacks for building etc ) - " Bushy" plots needs better definition of specific height of grass or shrubs. Fines should be given only after 2 warnings in a yr . - Estate dues : N5000 monthly or lump sum of N50000 annually. this can be subject to change by majority vote in future. - Security should be authorized to turn back visitors between 11pm to 5AM that they suspect is a security risk except if ID by residents of estate. - PETS should be on a leash attached to their owners when outside compound - Encourage perimeter fence for security reasons and it will help value of properties in Estate to appreciate. -- Agree with most rules especially :1A, 1B,2 , 4 7, 11, 12 - All resident should sign onto the Estate policy before they get their deed of assignment |
what type of wood for wine rack in the bar ?? |
omolami:Remeber any superpower still battling insurgency ?? Aka --USA . So insurgency is not a 6wk project !! I think the senator Ekweremadu need to make comments that galvanizes the nation and clearly he is politicing the issue and could do better with mor patriotic comments or at least offer his own strategy/solution to win.. |
tai2:@ tai2.... You are right on all points . I have a professional degree and doing well abroad. Yes tai2 is right ! the points applies to us differently. The best time to enjoy ur life overseas, is when you leave Nigeria at young age to study here in university/college and with the foundation or values instilled in us, by our parents/culture , then you will do well. Going overseas beyond that stage in life , your chances of success ( compared to your peers overseas) probability is not as great. Now it brings up a whole lot of other issues about what is " success" and that definition varies for each person. The fact is, too many desperate young people leave Nigeria without setting priorities and with the proper documents then you are trapped and cannot fully benefit from the European countries/USA. The fact remains that most people leave /migrate for economic reasons , Europeans/Africans etc. Some may not know that there was a time when our parents were sent overseas by companies in Nija or govt of Nija in late 1960 ans early 1970"s and they could not wait to come back after their studies. WHY ?? Family and Love of country!!! If we can collectively fix our country ( security and economic empowerment) , most young talented Nigerians will not leave and the Nija will prosper. I support this msg from @Tai2 because of awareness it is creating, so our 18yr old (young men/women) do not perish in desert of North Africa , in the Mediterranean sea, menial jobs in the US but rather chose a predictable path to success and avoid the dangers of illegal immigration . |
chiefeconomist:Too many kids on this site discussing a menace that is sweeping through regions of the world with lots of diverse ethnicity or pluralistic society who have been economically suppressed or marginalized now waging a campaign led by an unpopular group/faction of Islam.....The Islamic Fundamentalist .. They have unfortunately hijacked this issue, which in the past led to coup de tat in same regions of the world going through this turmoil. This is the cost of democracy but misguided because it has become expensive, bloated, too corrupt that the people of these regions are economically disenfranchised and the only game changer they see is this VILE islamist ! Egypt dodged the bullet with emergence of strongman Gen El Sisi. The Egypt experiment will eventually be welcomed by the rest of the troubled regions. Let Strongmen of these regions return and lead thrier own people and let their own democratic system evolve. Libya of Gen Ghaddafi and Saddam was a much more prosperous place than what they are today. The west now recognizes the stabilizing force needed and let the Coup of Egypt to take place ..... I see the military and strong men/leaders of this regions coming back but for now, this is our new reality in these regions of the world. A death in the north , bomb blast in mosque, church & marketplace unfortunately keeps investors away from your country and Kids on this forum will be Old men still waiting for jobs and dividends of misguided democracy which has bred this menance ( Boko Haram/ISIL) sweeping through these regions. |
@ Rotech : can you give us an idea of cost to set up a water treatment plant at home with a UV sterilizer |

Look around you, do you think the South East can do better than Ike Ekweremadu Do a critical analysis of what his position should do in Life of people in his region. This Ike Ekweremadu and David Mark should have same Fate ....Thrown out. Do a research of their wealth based on their yrs in Senate and when you arrive at the stupendous wealth amased, then you will have EUREKA moment that will change ur opinion. This position he got is not as result of support from his constituency but midnight deal by same group that has kept you jobless, gave you opportunity to earn your Bachelor's degree in 7yrs, travel with comfort on your federal roads/death traps. In a civil society where people vote based on performance this guy will be long gone. Go to Enugu and see what your public fund has bought for his greedy estate/family then when you get home to your misery then you will understand the demand that this guy step down for any dedicated Nigerian from the South East with a record that shows committment to their constituents. What impact did his position have on SE last time in Senate ..... NONE .... scored F9 , so then why hesitate to call it what it is .....Failure in Leadership!!! The South East can do better |
Well it is a democracy. Official cars etc belongs to the state / The people Going home with goverment property is agaist the law. If the laws have been changed to serve the selfish interest of elected officials to go HOME with The People's property the it is wrong. If she feels the law is on her side then file a lawsuit and let the courts take it up. I think it is absurd to think it makes any sense to loot goverment because your tenure is over---- what a waste of resources and baseless argument by thiefs and clowns elected to leadership position. Can every head of service and director retire and take home the official cars etc How can any sane mind think this is right Wike has my vote here to move on and get back what belongs to The people, By the People , For The people!!! |
THOU SHALL NOT BURN....................;;;;;;;;;'''''''''''' This is an exposure of the corrrupt system we have in Nigeria. BURNING this contrabands at this time is just callous and at the PERILS of the northern state KANO --------- Can you spell a new front for BOKO HARAM!!!!! Read the excerts from many interviews of our wise president on the root cause of fertile source of recruitment for insurgency we now face------- unemployment and restless youths. Now the life savings of their parents to go up in smokes.....Walahi this will be mistake!!! . The agents of misfortune in Nigerian customs & Co want to use this to derail this GMB /gov't focus on recovery in the heart of the north ....Please DO NOT TAKE THIS BAIT !!! ................. DO NOT BURN the contrabands but rather burn the corrupt custom officials who took the bribes over the yrs of GEJ administration to cripple our industries!! Set up a committee which involves the locals in the business /the importers and you will hear names and solutions by the people it has affected. If we had serious govt , making laws for industries to survive then who will need contrabands. We cant even get electricity to support the local guys in their factories so how can they be competititive How many of our leaders patronize the local fabrics ? Read about Sankara of old Burkina Faso and support of local industries . Can we do the same starting with our leaders, some of who are hypocrites. We need good laws applied and adhered to from the beginning not at the end and on poor Nigerians trying to make ends meet. It reminds me of selective application of Sharia laws to amputate poor guy who steals a goat and members of the Hous of assembly / HoR steal billions and wealth they cannot account for on their salaries. The poor again bears the brunt of bad set of corrupt practices..So they wisened up and joined insurgency.... Does Sharia corrrelate with birth of Boko Haram We need govt paid informants/ WHITSLE blower program at all level of federeal & state agencies vital to the economy to find the ROT in the system and get corrupt people out of the system and unclog the wheels of recovery. We cannot have the same people in place vital to our economy if we expect a change!!! Our politicians have immunity, perpertual injunctions and the poor fools ( The MASSES) have their live savings go up in flames and their leaders laughing all the way to Dubai, UK , South African and Swissbanks!! How many of these leaders in last 6yrs can you say got the type of justice we want to unleash on the poor people of Kano ... No I am not from the North but I am a Red blooded Nigerian fed up with the ridicule in our system and corrupt dispensation of justice based on social class ... Fellow Nigerians our country needs us to speak with wisdom, temper justice with mercy and not hasty decisions that engulfs this new govt in flames adn into the ABYSS !! |
@@@@@@Dexmars what are the attractions nearby and prospects for future appreciation. why should anybody come here to invest rather than Lagos , Abuja, Asaba, Awka , Enugu . Is it residential or commercial. I mean sell this idea to prospective investors .. You've got to do more than this to convince anyone to commit to 10plots.... Make it exciting and let us see why you believe in this project . |
vjbrown:Leave God out of this case. Nigerians need to take actions . Protest and get involved in grassroot politics and make a CHANGE !!! |
emiye:Agree....Nebo does not belong in this list .. Having said that he was doomed to fail from the get go..... What experience does he have in the ministry that he was given to manage. The fact that he was Vice Chancellor does not make him an expert that understands the challenges of POWER. We should not be surprised at the dismal performance. The ministry of power needs a technocrat in this line who has the educational and work experience in this field not just rewarding your cronies.... I trust man of integrity, our next president , his Excellency GMB to get it right ............Hold it, Hold it , Hooooold it . I am not APC or PDP, tribalistic, or have political malaise.......I am a concerned Nigerian . Independent of any political affiliation!!! Try to join us , it is an eye opener.Thank you |
