When POS business started, many Nigerians jumped into it because it was very lucrative. Now it's kidnapping that has become lucrative, and many Nigerians have jumped on the train.

The problem is, this has become too lucrative and more people are willing to be a part of it. Given that Nigerians don't know when to stop, the only solution is to turn the table around. Strike before you are struck!

Before the Fulanis started kidnapping, there were others who were deep into it and made lives miserable for Nigerians. At this point, it doesn't matter whether you are a Fulani kidnapper or not. Our goal is how to put an end to it.

Our security agents are the most useless in the world. Weak intelligence unit...no coordination...no solid structure... How can people get kidnapped in multitudes, and no rescue mission is ever launched unless ransom is paid?

Why is the government taking us for a ride? Can they swear that the location of these kidnappers is unknown? These are people who use cell phones effortlessly and even have a social media presence.

It's unfortunate that there is a silent war going on in Nigeria, but people don't even realise it yet. The time has come to take laws into our hands!

There are laws, but not every criminal gets a jail time for their crimes. That his offence is jailable doesn't mean he has to go to jail. A community service would be more appropriate. Sentencing him to life in prison would be a miscarriage of justice.

American jurors can be very biased at times. I don't condone the actions of the priest, but a life sentence would be unjust.

Catholic priests are doing so much these days. I heard about one notorious priest based in the north who impregnated a girl. One day, the girl clandestinely left the baby in his care at the parish house to go attend classes.

She returned to meet a dead baby foaming from his mouth. She confronted him, and these were his exact words: "you should thank God you didn't die instead". The girl was shaken, but too scared to press charges.
Several petitions about his philandering habits were written against him prior to the incident, but the bishop turned a blind eye.

After reading the post, I must admit that his sentencing was a miscarriage of justice since he didn't force the women. Whether he used his position as a spirit father unjustly, is not for the court to decide. Americans commit the worst sexual crimes and get away with it.

God will not punish anyone. The problem we have as Nigerians is that we are not patriotic enough, neither are we united. If it doesn't affect us, then it's not our problem.

I must also mention that Nigerians are cowards who are too scared to defend themselves. With all the abled young men we have in our various homes, I'm furious that these animals are still having a field day.

Why are Nigerians silent about this? Sitting in the comfort of our homes and posting 'free the kidnapped children' whilst using the latest iPhone to type is proof we are not being our brother's keeper.

Why should a group of animals who are less than 1% of the country's population hold us to ransom and everyone is silent? The time has come to stage an unprecedented mass protest. If we don't act now, these bandits will destroy us because they are animals and animals have no conscience.

Rape is rape, regardless of who the perpetrator is or whether it is acceptable by some sick religion or not. Even husbands rape their wives and get away with it because they never regard it as an offense.

But in all of these , there is only one victim: the woman. So, saying that a bandit rapist is different from non-bandit rapist is the most ridiculous thing to say.

Very heartbreaking story! But let's be honest, the issue of raping women is not a bandit thing, but a man's thing. Fathers are raping daughters, brothers are raping sisters, uncles are raping nieces...

I don't think people should wait to be kidnapped before taking action. Instead of handing over 10 Million...100Million to kidnappers as ransom, travellers should pay for security escorts instead. It may not solve the problem, but the kidnapping frequency will reduce drastically.

It beats me how people can trust a stranger to handle the preparation of their meals in their own house. I am not a good cook, but I would rather prepare my concoctions than allow anyone to fix my meals.

As for eating out .....Well, if it isn't a fancy restaurant, then count me out. At least I know that most fancy restaurants operate under good sanitary conditions, and they also have supervisors that ensure that their meals are hygienically prepared.

Most Nigerian men forming smart, hard workers and ambitious were just lucky to land themselves a good job. Take away their white collar jobs, and watch them wither away like a piece of dry hibiscus flower.

This is why most of them take to drinking and idling away once they lose their lucrative jobs. Women are the real hustlers, and majority of them have become the bread winners. For that reason, no woman should step down for any man to excel. The sacrifice ain't worth it!
