Here is the line that caught my attention: "You cannot forgive someone who has neither acknowledged wrongdoing nor shown remorse". This is exactly what I have been trying to make some people understand... |
Some of you debunking her story are either abusers or just looking for cheap attention. Is her narrative unprecedented that you find it difficult to believe? Stroll across your neighborhood and you will find multiple cases of domestic abuse where men use koboko to flog their partners. And if you try to intervene, you will get your share. I'm sure most of your friends are physically abusive to their partners, but you are quick to tag her story as false. I have seen men use belts and koboko on their partners before, and even bragged about it. So, what is new about her story that makes it impossible to believe? |
merrymike47:Animals don't think. |
BeardedMeat:Is it sticks and stones that out almighty cult boys are using to terrorise our neighborhood? Is it sticks and stones that hunters are using to hunt? Is it sticks and stones that traditional worshipers in the rural areas are using to destroy the lives of others? If they cannot mobilise and defend their territory, then they have themselves to blame. War cannot be declared on your home, whilst you go to sleep. Saying they get arrested for fighting back is all propaganda for now. Where is the evidence, and why are their representatives silent about it? |
arnold82:. Not a very smart move on your part. You should have insisted they used a popular park run by credible transporters. She obviously paid a random person to pose as a driver. Sometimes I wonder how you guys fall for scammers on FB. 240K is not a small money, but you just gave it out like that without due verification. |
What goes around, comes around. She did the same to another woman, so she should carry her cross. Regardless, I admire her tenacity in trying to make her marriage work. She knows her husband is a philanderer, but still holding it down. |
maasoap:Sons can inherit their father's bad behaviours. So, if a man is bad, what morals can he possibly instill in his child? |
No one uses voice notes or text messages for serious business deals. |
maasoap:What if there is a father figure, but he ends up inheriting his father's bad traits? |
She should be mindful of that child. Next time, he will use a gun on her. I haven't watched the video, but he must be a black American. |
Some men need serious psychiatric evaluation. You disrespect your wife by cheating on her, hitting her, and still expects her to respect you. Just by looking at the picture, that lady doesn't look like someone that will allow a man to trample on her. The man is the dumb one here. |
Unless there is something you are hiding, I find it very dumb to bribe your way out of a crime you never committed. It is very possible that OP had something to hide;reason he gave in so easily. There were other smart ways he could have gotten himself out of that conundrum. Like insisting on calling his uncle who is a general in the army, or insist on talking to his lawyer first. But since you bowed to their demands, you might as well be guilty. |
This is the height of man's inhumanity to man! I am disappointed in the youths of today. Why go to sleep when your house is on fire? Knowing that these bandits can strike at anytime, the youths are supposed to mobilise themselves to forestall any attack. This is war time, and you don't sleep with your two eyes closed when your enemy is planning an ambush. |
Did you read what he said about the leader? He spoke good English, Fulani, Ibo and Pidgin. That means, he could be a northerner that grew up in the east, or an easterner that grew up in the north. There is something on my mind. What if the government gives a direct order to burn and clear thick bushes that these kidnappers are using as hiding spots? Unfortunately, that is impossible. I'm certain that the government is not serious about crushing these people, and we Nigerians don't care as long as it isn't affecting us directly. |
poshestmina:Many people have been kidnapped from their houses in recent times. |
I don't get it. He visits Jos, moves around in an open vehicle, and expects jobless residents to come out enmasse to welcome him. I like his guts. |
Why should adults let themselves be pressured? No one born of a woman can ever make me do what I don't want to do. |
At this point, no one knows exactly was happened. What if someone else murdered her, and the man was kidnapped? |
The suspect is missing and not on the run because no one knows exactly what happened. What if another person inflicted the injuries on her, and he was kidnapped? But looking at his face, he doesn't look like someone's fiance at all. He looks like a houseboy. |
I didn't watch the initial video, but seeing it now, all I can say is that she should avoid that her friend. She pushed her away so aggressively as if she was almost fighting her. It's a pity how some ladies go overboard to protect their marriages when no one is even interested in their men. ![]() As for the twerking girl, she should have thought better. Why exhibit such a crass behaviour in the full glare of everyone? Your intentions might be innocent, but not everyone thinks like you. So, I guess she has learnt her lessons, and also lost her friend. |
Double0h7:You were referring to Nigerian foods generally, and not OP's food. U too like trouble. ![]() |
Double0h7:Lol...I don't know actually. OP is in the best position to answer that. |
Double0h7:But tasteful anyways. |
jiggyman:That lady is pretty even without makeup. So, just shut it because I'm sure no woman in your life comes close to her in terms of physical looks. |
Bwilliam:There is something off about her hair that I had to take a second look. If you look closely, you will notice braided hairs at the back of her head. I think they used scissors to cut off the braided front hair, hence the awful look. |
Is that his wife in the pic? Despite his online toughness, I won't be surprised that he is a puppet at home. |
What happened to her expensive wigs? God abeg oh! |
I have to disagree with the post in its entirety. It is easier to migrate to the US than for a Nigerian woman to leave her marriage on cheating grounds. Let's be honest, how many contemporary Nigerian women have left their marriages because they caught their husbands cheating? Just a handful, probably. Most women who are divorced never left because their husbands cheated. They left because of other reasons, and cheating was never a deal breaker for them. And for those saying that our mothers/ grandmothers endured their marriages, that is not true. If you do a little research, you will realize that most of these women were married twice or more. In fact, if you come to my village, just a few women stayed married to one man all their lifetime. The rest left their husbands and remarried. Some even had up to five husbands during their heyday. If you want to know what polyandry looks like, go to rural areas, and you will be shocked. |
AllBlack:It is not every moniker that deserves a mention. I just realised that some people here are suffering from different types of psychological disorders. They derive pleasure in mocking others and feel good about it. @Revenueboost, I admire your authenticity and the fact that you went into marriage, prepared. Happy anniversary dearie! I hope you get to celebrate many more years together. |
My concern is that, he is not growing physically, and he is always looking like a teenager. |
Lol...How much? Let me tell you a secret about loan apps. They are used by politicians to launder money, so you just collected your share of the national cake. Stop picking their calls, and pay whenever you can afford to. You are dealing with humans and not wild animals. So, stop fretting. |
