Bro please your urgent attention is needed as IGBE road in Igbogbo Ikorodu is an eyesore and has been for years. Theres been public out cry as that road is a nightmare to the large numbers living within that axis. Gov Ambode and the LG, which has been notified severally, have completely neglected this road. Something needs to be done about it. A quick google search on "igbe road ikorodu very bad" would give you an idea of what i speak of.

Thanks @usbcable. Kindly send the images to idris@insidemainland.com. I will investigate and give updates. Cheers!

NYSC / Re: NYSC 2016 Batch B Corps Members House by we963852: 9:06am On Oct 27, 2016
Exactly research that basically what you're in school to do. Find out what hope is there? How can i relate it to my chosen career path? Critical thinking, Ask necessary questions and get answers to those questions but mba!! they'll wait for one man who studied math in 1973 to tell them. Love the way you think tho. Regards
amicable09:

Mmmh. I understand. Some lecturers themselves don't know anything else outside the academic environment and so will not do justice to the question of "what hope is there for us Maths graduates?". I'm glad ignorance is no more an excuse. We can research and get answers.

I am a social science graduate by the way cheesy

Nigerians are just hypocrites sha. If she came here and created a thread stating her ordeal may here criticizing what she did would tell her to do the same thing. Abeg she don talk her mind and she don apologize, let her be.

I'd like to know what you studied
amicable09:

How please?
What are we still calculating?
Census?
Polls?
Numbering of houses?

What?
I'll like to know.

I've seen threads of people who finished studying some science courses in the University come here to ask what they can do with the knowledge? It's almost not practicable in real life. Relate mathematics to the world in general if you can.
NYSC / Re: NYSC 2016 Batch B Corps Members House by we963852: 4:10pm On Oct 26, 2016
Mathematics really isn't valued in Nigeria, which lecturers make known to their students who buy the idea that they are not sell-able but the opposite is true. You study some science courses, say maths, and cannot relate it to anything say finance, engineering, statistics then you've basically wasted your 4 years in school. For practicality sake do you know that there's a relationship between correlation coefficient and portfolio management?? Plenty of our so called mathematicians do not know. Some because they don't want to research, others have lost hope.

Bless You for this
joshuakdboy:
cool

shocked

They must be misinformed or rather they are lying, maybe they wanna study a science course but want to know its application before studying it.
someone with four to six years experience in school doesn't know the application of his/her course to real life? its hard to bliv.

it's true some people work outside the course of their study but that doesn't mean their own course doesn't av any application to real life.

pls, u can pm me if u want us to talk more.

Lemme not disturb this thread.

Thanks

Mathematics has a lot to do with the world in general not just HIV/AIDS
amicable09:

Lol.
Please my haterz are watching grin. Don't give them a reason to laugh at me cheesy cheesy cheesy

I'm not in da field but I'm curious all the same. What has math got to do with HIV/AIDS? Are you looking at the probability of the number of infected people by the year 2025 Or the ratio of males to females in this matter?

previously (slashing era) 30% of names were uploaded which is 715. Making total no of names that should have been submitted 2383 (100%). As at today sources reveal that over a thousand names have headed for Abuja (hard copy). So if ure in uniben and u haven't seen your name there's still hope.

SAO are saying go to nysc
LarrySmiles01:
How to correct wrong date of Birth for NYSC 2016 Batch B

The new procedure for PCMs is to submit a handwritten
application to the Student Affairs Officer (SAO) of their
institution to be forwarded to NYSC including the following;

i. A copy of WAEC Result showing date of birth

ii. Completed bio-data form upon entry into the institution

iii. First School Leaving Certificate

iv. WAEC Result Verification Pin for use by NYSC

I guess this might help.

arcnomec:

Dude, yours is of your own making. If you have done revalidation, you would have corrected your date of birth during the process. So chill, when you get to camp you do the correction ,cos there is room for that in camp.
