Hi guys, I got my police clearance certificate today and I have a question to ask.

How did you submit your police clearance certificate? Did you scan it and attach to your form online, submit it at their office here in Nigeria or did you mail it through courier service to CIC?

For those that took the online root, did you scan and attach all your supporting documents online or was there any specific document you had to send to CIC through courier service or to their office in Nigeria.

Please I urgently need the info so I will know the next step to take.

You are supposed to get a slip after biometric which is supposed to be two, one for you and the other for your baby. The tracking ID is supposed to be there. If you only get yours alone then I guess you have to link your baby application online to yours.

So that was 2 applications I suppose we made.
But only one tracking ID number was sent from VFS.GLOBAL to her.

It is very possible they just got to April applications and again we won't know much since it is only few percentage of applicants are here on the thread. At least someone from April got a response, so May applicants should be ready to testify ooooooh. It will end in praise.

Nice job. But to the bolded, please take note, you can only work 20hours as a graduate student and even UG. Except you didn't register for any courses which is practically applicable to UG during spring and summer, but for Graduate students you Register throughout the year so therefore you can only 20hrs. But if you get a Job in the school, you can work unlimited hours and sometimes schools like U of S, U of Manitoba, they restrict students working in the school to 8hours per day. Goodluck

Not just someone, a foreign national who is a student must work only part time hours (20hrs/week). A person with this status is expected to face their studies, which they must have described as their primary priority in their study visa application. You can only work full time hours ( 40hrs/week) during holidays ( Christmas, Easter, etc.) and when the school is not in study session.

I still wonder why people so called experience gurus here will still be advicing others not to apply for GCMS note. From experience applying for GCMS note really make sense, it's just 30days to know what exactly went wrong and to know the mind of the VO. It is encouraging from my perspective. You are good to go my dear. The study permit you applied for is basically what your kids need to apply for, TRV is temporary resident visa, which means you and your kids will first get TRV and as soon as you get to the port of entry you will get your OWP and your kids will get their study permit. Assuming your kids are not applying for study permit, it means that you will fill TRV forms for them alone not you.

I hope this is not too late @Bab5 suggestions is not right from my own perspective, please fill TRV form for all the kids but their application may not need too much documentation like your own OWP, because their application depends on yours.

I'd like to correct a view which seems to be getting quite common. Please note it doesn't apply to the moniker above but I just used it to buttress my point.

We've recently seen several expectees who didn't do medicals upfront but did it after submitting their biometrics to speed up their application if it is positive.

Now most people seem to call that 'upfront medicals'. That is simply wrong as it wasn't done upfront but after biometrics has been completed. It completely throws me off when people upload medical results much later after application submission and still call it up front medicals
