Great100000: The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) says it is set to deploy an Artificial Intelligence (AI) agent to tackle a backlog of 7,000 company registration applications and ease service delays.
Registrar-General/CEO of the CAC, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN, disclosed this on Monday in Kano during a stakeholders’ forum.
He explained that the AI agent will handle requests across compliance, registry, and customer service functions with speed and accuracy to address challenges that have slowed service delivery.
“In a bid to tackle the backlog of 7,000 registration applications… an AI agent was in the pipeline to handle requests across compliance, registry, and customer service with speed and accuracy,” the Commission said in a statement quoting the Registrar-General.
Bumpy transition to AI portal
Magaji acknowledged that the transition to the Commission’s AI-driven portal has been bumpy, with customers experiencing delays in approvals, especially for services not covered in the first phase of the deployment.
He noted that the delays were largely due to the overwhelming number of applications the system has had to process.
• To further improve efficiency, the CAC boss said the Commission will also use AI to manage the high volume of daily inquiries.
• According to him, the system receives no fewer than 3,000 emails per day. The AI tool being developed can read and comprehend those emails within a minute, detect duplicate requests, and reroute messages to the appropriate departments for faster resolution.
• The Registrar-General reassured stakeholders that the Commission is working assiduously to stabilize its newly introduced AI portal and improve customer satisfaction.
“Problems have been identified, and solutions are already in motion,” he said.
Backstory
Earlier in June this year, the CAC launched the AI-driven registration portal aimed at transforming Nigeria’s business environment by simplifying company registration processes and accelerating approvals.
According to the Registrar-General, the AI-powered portal represents a complete overhaul of the Commission’s existing Company Registration Portal (CRP).
• The portal, he said, has been programmed to provide instant name approvals, with a system intelligently designed to suggest alternative names when preferred options are unavailable.
• Magaji said name reservation under the new system is now as simple as opening an email account, noting that the use of AI enables seamless suggestions and approvals in real-time.
• However, many Nigerians trying to register their new business or fulfil obligations for existing businesses have been having difficult times on the portal as it continues to suffer one glitch after the other.
• From payments not reflecting on the portal to the inability to submit documents, among others, Nigerians have continued to express their frustrations using the portal, a development that led to the 7,000 backlogs the Commission is now trying to clear.
Meanwhile, despite the hiccups, CAC announced in July that the portal was processing over 11,000 transactions daily, describing it as a major leap in automation, but not without challenges.

RevenuesBoost: 🌴 Palm Oil Storage: A Hidden Investment Opportunity
Two years ago, my husband and I ventured into palm oil storage because where we live is blessed with rich, undiluted palm oil. We started very small—with just two kegs. We bought them in February/March, when the market was calm and prices were low, and by November, we sold at double the cost. That simple decision opened my eyes to one of the most underrated investment opportunities. Hubby said it's what he had always done since 2014. During his NYSC in 2014, he started with #3000 per keg.
Palm oil follows a predictable market pattern.
Between February and March: the supply is high, prices are low.
During the ember months (September–December): demand increases, prices rise significantly.
This means that with the right timing, you can literally buy cheap and sell high with little to no risk.
Those who stored up palm oil earlier this year should already be smiling to the bank, because the price has doubled compared to what it was just a few months ago. And this trend repeats itself every year.
Here’s why palm oil storage is a smart investment move:
✅ It’s a tangible product with consistent demand—every home, restaurant, and food business needs it.
✅ Prices are seasonally predictable, unlike many volatile commodities.
✅ It requires low entry capital—you can start with just one or two kegs and scale up.
✅ It offers high returns—sometimes as much as 80–100% within a single year.
Of course, like any investment, it requires planning:
Ensure proper storage to maintain quality.
Buy during the right season (Feb/March).
Sell when demand peaks (the ember months).
In a world where many people are chasing complicated investment schemes, palm oil proves that sometimes the simplest ideas can yield the greatest profits.
If you’re looking for a practical way to grow your mo*ney, consider palm oil storage. Start small, learn the ropes, and scale gradually—you’ll be surprised at the results.
Newsgeek24: Human rights activist and Sahara Reporters founder, Omoyele Sowore, has petitioned the Attorney General of Florida, James Uthmeier, demanding the forfeiture of multimillion-dollar properties allegedly acquired unlawfully by Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, News360 Nigeria reports.
In the petition dated September 22, 2025, and filed through his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, Sowore alleged that Wike, alongside his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzette Nyesom-Wike of the Nigerian Court of Appeal, secretly purchased three lakeside properties in Winter Springs, Florida, valued at over $6 million.
The petition claims that the assets were later transferred to their children under questionable circumstances.
Sowore’s legal team argued that Wike, who has served as a public officer since 1999 without any legitimate private enterprise, cannot justify such acquisitions.
They accused him of using Florida as a safe haven to launder proceeds of corruption, while also alleging that as FCT Minister, he allocated prime public lands in Abuja to his sons through shell companies and proxies.
The petition urges the Florida authorities to invoke provisions of the Florida Money Laundering Act and Forfeiture Act to seize the properties, prosecute those involved, and enforce penalties for money laundering.
It further called on U.S. authorities to impose a visa ban on Wike, citing America’s global commitment to anti-corruption efforts.
Copies of the petition were also sent to the U.S. Attorney General and the U.S. Ambassador to Nigeria.

Obasa Specialty Vehicle (OSV), located at Ijero Ekiti, Ekiti State was originally commissioned on the 5th of December 1980 by the late High Chief Joe Oluware Obasa Jp. as a car distributor for Peugeot Automoble Nigeria. The company was upgraded to manufacturing of special vehicles for security personnel and civilian uses by his 2 sons High Chief Johnson Obasa and Victor Obasa Sr.
On Saturday 15th of April 2017, OSV unveiled an all terrain vehicle named Tekowi, which was manufactured at the company's Ijero Ekiti plant in Ekiti State.
Speaking at the unveiling event, High Chief Johnson Obasa said Tekowi combines ruggedness with luxury.
He stated Tekowi's unique design features which are; Military 4 wheel drive, High ground clearance, Custom interior tailored to customer specification, Stereo system integrated with latest technology, Diamond floor plate flooring, Reinforced steel structure, Double utility storage, Engine air scoop and Name branding option.
According to one of the Obasa brothers Victor Obasa said the name Tekowi was coined from "te oko wi" an Ekiti local dialect which means sandals or boots farmers and hunters wear regularly to the bush.
He said that Tekowi is hand crafted with simple tools and locally sourced materials.
The guest of honour at the event His Royal Majesty, Oba Adebayo Adewole, the Owa Ajero of Ijero Kingdom Ekiti expressed sincere and heartfelt gratitude to God Almighty for blessing Ijero Ekiti with the Obasa brothers. He said the development that OSV has brought to the Ijero Ekiti community will go a long way to encourage his people and create a lot opportunities.
Dr. Mann Alli while presenting a toast at the unveiling said OSV will go places, aside going round Nigeria but round the world.
ColonelEmeka: Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has announced migration of all his business outfits into an umbrella brand known as the Priam Group.
He said the fusion of the businesses will make for better efficiency.
Atiku, a business tycoon and industrialist is the founder of a number of businesses spanning several sectors of the economy including manufacturing, media, banking, logistics, agriculture, printing, education, eateries, beverages, real estate and animal food processing. He is also a principal shareholder in many more companies both within and outside of Nigeria.
Under the new arrangement, many of the business concerns wholly connected to Atiku Abubakar will come under Priam Group: one brand and one common management.
Priam Group will take over assets and liabilities of the existing companies including, more especially, staff emoluments and other welfare.
Atiku believes that this process of restructuring will bring operating efficiency, cost control and good corporate governance to the group companies and will also allow it to focus on future growth opportunities.
To this end, Priam Group has completed its feasibility study for the construction of a rice milling company by the River Benue in Adamawa and has plans to (by June 2020) commission its Abuja animal feeds factory after some delays in getting the factory equipment.
The group is also looking to actively expand its bottling capacity to cover the whole of the north and is investing in expanding its Logistics fleet to service the future capacity expansion. The future plans also entail having a larger footprint of its chicken cottage brand and wider reach for its Television channel by going on Satellite.
Given the challenges associated with the processes of this kind of restructuring, it is not uncommon that some of the companies which migration has yet to be perfected will experience some difficulties in carrying out their day to day mandates. It is also not unexpected that a restructuring procedure of this size and nature would come with some likely job rationalisation especially since each of these entities has its own finance, admin, marketing, HR and ancillary support operations which would now be consolidated and undertaken at the group level.
In specific reference to some of the news reports in the media regarding Gotel Communication – Gotel TV and Radio – have been migrated to the Priam Group structure.
The Group structure is the one responsible for the salaries of workers in the two media outfits. What is, however, being experienced now is the teething problems associated with the integration, with Gotel being a late entrant to the process. It will ease out.
Already the payment of outstanding salaries commenced 24 December.
Cold: grsscttrs are extremely sensitive to cold. Prolonged exposure to cold causes pnuemonia and eventually death if not addressed on time. To avoid this, a proper animal house and cage must be constructed that allows room temperature to be constant between 22 to 28 degree celsius and protect them from direct wind and sunlight. In fact they can withstand heat much better than cold. There should be windows that can be adjusted to regulate temperature and allow ventilation. Those with pnuenomia can be treated by heating up their environment and adding garlic and ginger to their supplement.
fayahsoul: Before going into grasscutter farming it is necessary to have adequate knowledge of the practice to keep mortality at a minimum. They are strong and shy creatures yet quite delicate. Unlike chickens, goats, sheep and other domestic animals that have been around for a long while and are docile, grsscttrs are wild and the farm practice is novel hence the scanty literature available about them. Subsequently i will give a few pointers on how to breed these lovely animals.
Causes of mortality include: Cold, injury, bad feed, gastrointestinal parasites, poor hygeine, improper handling and housing, inbreeding, fear(real or imagined).

Afrocatalyst: thank you for your response. It is nt true that giant west african snails do nt sell in the USA. The truth is that they have restricted its farming and raw exportation to the USA. The reason being that it smells badly when there is mass mortality of the animals,so their environmental enforcement banned its importation. Meanwhile,it can be sold there when the meat is processed. Hope you know different ways the meat can be processed? Besides,it pays more when processed cos you get to cash in on other parts of it like the shell and gel,ie assuming you have clients in that respect. Though i have nt exported snails before,i plan to do so soon and wil update as soon as its done. B. Every sales is determined by demand. C. If you so desire d. Less than two years now. E. If you so desire. I wil also construct your snaileries for you in a standard way so that it wil be protected from invaders, one of which is termites. I hope i have been able to answer your questions.
Afrocatalyst: I tried a lot of things to supplement the calcium my snails get evryday apart from the one from the soil. I tried boiled egg shell by removin the inside layer and crushing. They hardly ate it. I went to the market and got limestone (nzu in igbo). I washed it an broke it for them and placed it ,they ate it bt not much. I later discovered a better way. When changing the soil,i grind the limestone to powder and mix wit d soil before placing them. (note that its necessary to change the soil once in two month). That way, while eatin the soil, they take it in. I noticed their shell getting stronger and more polished.
Afrocatalyst: 1. Fulicas grow bigger in lenght than marginata, which means they weigh better. And they are more rugged and easy to adapt than marginata. 2. They feed on what every other snail eats, like fresh leaves, fruits and a good source of calcium, evryday. I will get back on good sources of calcium for most of us snail farmers in Nigeria. 3.they can mate once and lay eggs continously for up to 5years and above. They are good semen savers. They become sexually active from 6months and lay eggs in clutches after a long period of mating. Their eggs enter into 400 in one lay. You see why its the best specie of snail for commercial farmers. 4. I am just a passionate snail farmer. I do nt consult but share ideas and experiences with interested persons. I wil see if i can upload the pictures. I already told you am in abule egba. I also already told you my price per baby fulica. I wil get back to you on ma xperiences wit getting a good source of calcium for them apart from cuttlebone which is not readily available to us here in Nigeria unlike our counterparts abroad. A fulica deprived of calciun is like saying to it 'i sentence you to death by hanging'. Lol.
Afrocatalyst: I have any quantity you want. Fulica achatina is the best breed for commercial snail farming which has proven to be a mine of wealth to those who have discovered it in this our dear country,Nigeria, and are doing it while laboring under correct knowledge. (luck). They produce well and grow bigger than any other snail. It is truly the west african giant snail. It weighs heavily too and is very rugged. We export too. All our baby fulicas have been raised under captivity and given the right amount of calcium to ensure continous growth. Cal me on 08073122596. Am in lagos.
Edited: Please the best to start your farms with is breeders, not babies. Fulic is also good, but not the best among the achatinas.

Dogalmighty17: So today I was out with the boys knocking back a few green bottles and just enjoying the evening. One of my guys called up a nice piece of kponmo he had been rolling with. She turned up with her friend. I noticed this didn't sit lightly with him but he maintained his cool. He proceeded to tell her to place an order for whatever she desires. She then ordered for noodles, chips and eggs outside the desperado she and her friend had already ordered for and were drinking.
When the waiter came to inquire how many plates to prepare, this lady told him to prepare two plates and one takeaway. Each plate was 6k. Making 18k in total for the food. My guy then picked offence with the extra plates ordered. He pointedly told her that he was only going to pay for one plate and if she wants her friend to eat, she can pay for her.
That set his girl off. She began raving and ranting. She threatened that if he wasn't going to pay for her friends food, she'll walk away. My guy ignored her. She was quiet for over 40 minutes until the waiter brought a plate of her order. She stood up screaming and rejected it. She then dragged her friend and they walked out. The chef returned back with the food even though it had already been paid for.
I normally don't drive when I know I'll be with the boys into the night so I left the car at home. I was done with my guys and strolled to the roadside to get keke. Guess who I saw inside the one I stopped? You guessed right, she and her friend.
I sat down and we greeted. Later on, I started perceiving the scent of curry. I looked to my left and behold these girls were devouring noodles like savages. Apparently, after all their gra gra, they went behind and collected the noodles.
I quietly watched as they ate like uncultured savages. Using bare unwashed hands. They even started quarelling because one of them cut a large slice of eggs. They couldn't wait to get home before eating a food they rejected. They are very beautiful ladies too. Ladies without class.

AutoHubNG: Leather seats unquestionably add a touch of luxury and elegance to any car interior especially when said seats are looking quite “glammed up”. However, to preserve their beauty and longevity – regular cleaning and conditioning are required, crucially. Proper maintenance not only keeps the leather soft and supple but also protects it from drying out, cracking, and even fading over time.
With that said, listed below is a guide on how to properly clean and condition leather seats to keep them in pristine condition for many years to come.
Materials Needed
Before you begin, endeavour to gather the following materials:
Mild Leather Cleaner: Look for a cleaner specifically formulated for automotive leather. Avoid harsh chemicals or household cleaners that can damage the leather.
Soft Microfibre Cloth: These are gentle on leather and help prevent scratches.
Leather Conditioner: Choose a conditioner that moisturises the leather and restores its natural oils.
Soft Bristled Brush: Ideal for gently scrubbing any dirt or grime from crevices.
Vacuum Cleaner with Soft Brush Attachment: Usually does most of the work which is to remove loose dirt and debris from the seats, especially in those hard-to-reach areas.
Optional: Leather protectant for added UV protection and stain resistance.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Preparation
Start by thoroughly vacuuming the seats to remove any loose dirt, crumbs, or debris. Use a soft brush attachment to avoid scratching the leather.
2. Test Cleaner
Before applying any cleaner to the entire seat; be patient – test it out first on a small, inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility and check for any adverse reactions.
3. Clean the Leather
Apply a small amount of the leather cleaner to a soft microfibre cloth. Gently wipe the seats in a circular motion, working on one section at a time. Avoid saturating the leather with cleaner.
4. Remove Dirt and Stains
For stubborn dirt or stains, you can use a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub the affected area. Be careful not to scrub too hard to avoid damaging the leather.
5. Rinse and Dry
Wipe down the seats with a clean, damp microfibre cloth to remove any residual cleaner. Immediately follow with a dry microfibre cloth to absorb excess moisture.
6. Condition the Leather
Apply a small amount of leather conditioner to a clean microfibre cloth. Work the conditioner into the leather using gentle, circular motions. Allow the conditioner to penetrate the leather for the recommended time as per the product instructions.
7. Buff and Protect
After allowing the conditioner to absorb, buff the leather with a fresh microfibre cloth to remove any excess conditioner and achieve a smooth, polished finish. Optionally, apply a leather protectant to provide additional UV protection and stain resistance.
Tips for Maintaining Leather Seats
Regular Cleaning: Clean your leather seats every 2-3 months or as needed to prevent dirt buildup.
Avoid Direct Sunlight: Park in shaded areas or use sunshades to protect leather from UV damage.
Use Leather Conditioner: Condition your seats at least twice a year to keep them soft and prevent cracking.
Immediate Spill Cleanup: If spills occur, try to soak them up immediately with a clean cloth to prevent stains.
By following these simple steps and incorporating regular maintenance into your car care routine, you can ensure that your leather seats remain luxurious, comfortable, and looking like new. Taking the time to clean and condition your leather seats not only enhances their appearance but also protects your investment in your vehicle’s interior.
Maintaining leather seats is a straightforward process that, when done correctly, preserves their beauty and extends their lifespan as well. With the right tools and a bit of care, you can enjoy the elegance and comfort of your car-leather seats for many more years ahead.
