maclatunji: I really feel the guy is wasting his life away. What attracted yiu to the story? A similar experience?
Rara oh. Audhubi Llah. I came across his posts smwhere and had to check his profile and previous topics. I've seen things like dat in movies and read pple's comments
I Know Ayuba is a muslim name nah. We have one of the prophets who bore the name in the Qur'an. What i meant is "i tot Ayuba is the Surname as we have a lot of pple with islamic surname n are of oda religions'.
lastchild: I've been on a particular spiritual battle for years now,I've done my best to get this demon out of me by prayers and deliverance but it keep failing
Someone said I should try out muslim that they are good in exorcism,my problem now is,can a non muslim walk into mosque to see imam or anybody in charge and explain his problem?
Will he give a listening ear ? If he did,can he help to exorcise the jinn out of the person
Note:I've had an encounter with islam in katsina,I'm not a total novice,as the matter of fact I can perform ablution successfully and I actually have a qur'an (koran)
Locate the nearest NASFAT branch and explain ur ordeal to any of the missionary.
Empiree: Okay now. Enojoy and let's hear what you think of it, sir.
Well, the movie is very interesting n funny. Just like a story I've heard from sermons in masjid. Also looks like what science calls time travelling (which isn't real). Alhamdulilah for being a Muslima.
Empiree: Jinns speak any language in the environment they are. I dont think it's appropriate to call them spirit. The word is too loose. Angels are called spirit. Human soul is also called. It's safe to call them "supernatural beings" in the sense that we cant see them. They live longer than human beings. Some of them live as low as 2000yrs old. Some live longer. They live among human in their own planet(Sammawat). That is, different dimension of space and time. I am sorry there is no way i can describe this without a bit of religious sentiment. So please pardon me. Qur'an says that 1000 yrs is 1 day with God, 50yrs is one day with God etc. This means different sammwat(planet is close definition). Their planet is within the human earth. I wish i can explain better. There is a Yoruba movie titled "Aiye Tuntun"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAdn40JKM9c . The movie gives a clue about sammawat. So Jinns live among us but in their own sammawat where we cant see them. I tried to explain this.
I tried to download this movie few days ago when u made this comment. Unfortunately, network was poor n the download failed. The good news is...the movie is showing @ the moment on African magic Yoruba and it's very interesting. Started some 40mins ago.
Empiree: lastchild, am not getting problem you encountered, What happened?. Remember though, dont insult our christian brethren if you not satisfy there. And dont use evil to resolve evil. problems may compound. In most cases, when we have problems, simple approach solves the whole ballgame. Midnight prayers, fast at least 1 or 2x a week and give alms to the poor.

lastchild: I've been reading the thread you refered me to, now my question is how do I go about it since am a not a muslim, can I walk into a mosque and ask for it?
I may not know much about this tins too but with what I've read lately on those threads, some pple might be of help. Take note of comments and PM those that wrote them. @ Empiree , I invite you here.
lastchild: anyway people think differently when they are not the one having the problem
I remember laughing at people who go to prophets to pray for them,I remember laughing at my cousin whom went to a native doctor and came home with a bunch of matches tied together to burn because of a problem he had
But now look at me,I'm now a person who has done all sorts of things to be free including taking bath in a pool of a goat's blood, sleeping in a room for 7 days alone in a bush
You may say that my heart is not in God because I'm struggling to be free but I put it to you that if you dare have this same issue you will tell God to "get out" when calling on him and your problem becoming worst
lastchild: Does it mean this spirit is bigger than anything coming from God
*tb joshua(3 times) *chris okafor(once) *mountain of fire (more than 50 times) *Chosen(more than 10 times) *Winners(more than 20 times) *Rev fathers in catholic(more than 1000 times) *Christ embassy(more than 20 times) *Redeem(twice) *Deeper life(once and hated it) *unpopular churches(more than 500 times)
Where else will I run to?
Please don't tell me to do it on my own because this spirit is far bigger than me,I've tried but couldn't
Turn to Allah, he's never far away. Put your trust in him, raise yours hands and pray 'Oh Ya Allah! Guide my steps don't let me go astray. You are the only one who can show me the way'
laroux: @kenfil being with a white woman is the best thing that ever happened to me and that could ever happen to any guy. White girls are far superior than Nigerian girls. Tell me what area can you compare a Nigerian girl and a white girl. Fashion-no, sense of humour-no, cooking-no, speaking-no, composure-no, intelligence-no, civilization-no or is it exposure-no. There's absolutely nothing that justifies your point. @georgematics that's your business. @mxhorlah guys ask for sex cos they've discovered that the only thing most of your girls are good for is SEX and I won't blame them for that either. @vado nobody is whining. Mind you I have a girl and she's not Nigerian cos I have no intentions of mixing with one. @FLAWLES I'm not an undergraduate. I'm a working class citizen with a six figure monthly salary when converted to naira. I don't go about chasing Nigerian girls whether working class or none working class cos I'm not interested in any. When I brought my girl home last year, I was the talk of the town cos anyone with eyes could easily know the difference between quality and quantity. @vickyyB the last time I checked men still rule the world.
Nigerian MEN!!!! The most confused creature on earth. A Lot of U complain about nigerian girls always 'faking' to be like oyinbos....u whine about them copying feminism from them and here u are commending d same oyinbo u'll mock our girls tryna be like. You want a full African woman and yet u call them local when trying to be one. These same men complain about feminism....they feel intimidated by feminist yet when a woman wants u to feel like a man and expects some responsibilities(not the gold diggers) U call her Lazy n weak. U complain she's not smart while in real sense, u fear and loathe smart woman. When ur wife stays @ home, u call her lazy and when she works and become successful, U start hating her success and complain she'll start feeling pompous. Haba!!! When a woman smiles @ u too much, u call her a flirt and says she's pushing too hard to get u...finally, u get to know she just like u as friend, u whine about being friendzoned. I could go on and on..... What happened to saying NO? Don't be a whining big baby.....Just like women say NO!!! OP, Work on urself dear.....U attract your type.
OP, are u saying u are mad cos ur parents didn't tell u they ain't ur biological parents? U are just a definition of the word ingrate (if at all ur story is the truth)
Maybe they decided. NOT to tell u because of ur agbero attitude. The fear that u might stab them to death when u get mad. An example is that of ur neighbourhood friend u injured.....Change ur ways o and learn to be appreciative rather than being MAD
GreenWhiteGreen: It all happened in the U.S .Show me a Nigerian.
Nigerian ke? Our young men are busy composing their never ending list on how to "be a good wife" "how to catch abi na win an African man" "wife material" etc
mumumugu: The biggest example of corruption is a wedding ceremony where people will spray You and your spouse only 200 naira and still eat rice, chicken and drink which sums up To over N1500... The worse is they will wrap broom and packer for You as Gift.. Una go tell me if I tell una say I be cleaner.. Is that not corruption? Imagine! people are wicked!.. So I've decided, on my wedding day when me and my sweetheart will be dancing, people wont spray us directly, they will be putting The Money on a tray for All eyes To see and at that point, you'll receive Your food as follows:
No Money: Pure water and tooth pick N200: White Rice without meat + pure water N500: White Rice + head of fish + coke N1000: Jollof Rice + Meat + malt N2000-N4000: Fried Rice + salad + chicken + malt N5000 and Above: Please Serve Yourself.. No cheating!.. Cause some people wey don dey fast for The past 21days go wan use my wedding as an avenue To break their fast!.. I don outsmart una, no Money no food for You.
This had better be a joke. Well, I don't attend wedding ceremonies without buying the aso-ebi (which I know they've added some profit) at least, that's contribution. 2. I'll definitely buy u a gift or spray some naira notes when the couple are dancing.
@ OP, Don't think low of urself...just pray God provides enough for u to cater for your guests. If they like, make dem bring, if dem like, make dem no bring....remember no one forced you to celebrate your about to begin marriage....their contribution should be willing not you TAXING them.
