SportsRe: How Nigerian Boxing Officials Rejected Anthony Joshua by webincomeplus(m): 7:21am On May 01, 2017
I know we'll soon start hearing shitty stories like this. By next week, we should also see headlines on how Joshua once hawked akara to make a living.

As for the assertion that he could have won the gold medal for Nigeria if given the chance, I disagree. Nigeria is known for working hard against the success of her citizens. And the fact that he wasn't given the chance is enough proof.

Here in our crappy country, a senator's nephew who can't knock out a pillow will be chosen over real boxing talents. And even if a real boxer is given the chance, the NBF will fail to release funds for his welfare and training tours because the foolish pot-bellied people in charge have stolen the funds meant for that.

You can never know more than your mechanic
Speak for yourself. Some people know everything about their cars, just that they don't have the instruments needed to fix faults themselves.

Have you ever read a car owner's manual before? I assure you, if you do, you'll know more about that car than many mechanics do. But it's not easy for most car owners because those manuals usually run into thousands of pages.

STUPIDITY DOESN'T DESERVE RESPECT. IF YOU THINK WRAPPING YOURSELF UP LIKE A MUMMY MAKES YOU A BETTER HUMAN BEING THAN THOSE WHO DON'T, THEN YOU'RE EXISTING ON A DIFFERENT LEVEL OF STUPIDITY THAN NORMAL
Stupidity has no globally accepted standards. Some cultural norms in Nigeria appear stu.pid to foreigners and some norms among whites or Arabs look stu.pid to us. You have no footing to declare some other people's norms as st.upid. Anyway, they don't give a hoot about your opinion.

And one more thing: what about the catholic nuns? Are those ones also stu.pid?

But those who go about baring their nudity are not stup.id, right? It's their choice, and nobody asked for your opinion about them. Learn to respect other people's norms and beliefs.

If such a project is proposed in Nigeria, the budget would be inflated tenfold and yet, all the funds would be embezzled. Then a committee would be set up to investigate the scam, and even more money would be used to bribe committee members. Nigeria is a shitty country!
HealthRe: Doctors In The House, How Much Exactly Are Consultants Paid? by webincomeplus(op): 3:01pm On Apr 06, 2017
macIB:
It depends on where you work but the range is btw 400k to 750k. Most FG of Nigeria hosp pay 600k and above e.g. FMC and teaching hospital and they are mostly in the middle belt and Northern Nigeria. Why is this so is because their CMDS are not corrupt like we have in the southern part of Nigeria. But note OAUTHC CMD is the only non-corrupt in the south of Nigeria. That man is a good man. Those that pay para-400k are mostly in the south and are mostly state govt and private medical schools. However the best paying private medical school is Babcock and it is around 550k (that is why the produce good medical students and good hospital care). Most Lagos State consultant earn 400k-450k per month. But in lagos they increase their pay via private practice so you hardly see them complain but you won't see them at their govt work often and this affect govt hosp patient care.
So if u want to earn enough as a medical consultant with just 1 job, try and fine a work in a FG hosp most probably in the northern part of Nigeria. If you can combine 2 or 3 jobs you may want to remain anywhere.
Thanks so much for this expository input.
HealthDoctors In The House, How Much Exactly Are Consultants Paid? by webincomeplus(op): 6:55am On Apr 06, 2017
As a medical student, I asked this question severally and I kept getting contrasting answers. Some would say its around N400,000 and some would say it's up to N700,000.

Those in the know should please enlighten me on how much consultants in government hospitals are paid monthly.

NB: I'm just being curious. Residency is NOT in my plans.

Leave story. There's nothing about dying young here. For ages, men have been keeping multiple ladies and "servicing" them all without anything happening to them. The only difference here is that this Kenyan millionaire isn't hiding his own. Most Nigerian men are hypocrites who have perfected the art of concealing their extra-marital affairs.
NOTE: I'm not in support of what the man did. I'm only debunking the myth that he would die young because he has decided to keep two official wives at once.

It's not about being Islamic. It's about being Hausa. The Islam I know doesn't frown at development in all fronts, especially technology and urbanization. If you disagree with me, take a look at Islam-dominated countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, etc.
