Good smile from both of them. The smile looks genuine to me. Not some public stunt. |
In all honesty, I blame Tim Berners-Lee, Vint Cerf, Robert Kahn and everyone else that contributed to the creation of internet and world wide web. I blame mark Zuckerberg for Facebook, I blame the creators of twitter, I blame Kevin Systrom for Instagram and Gary Klassen for bbm. I blame them for not specifying the minimum IQ to have before using the programs they created and for all the level of garbage one's brain has to deal with everyday. People just slap you with monumental balderdash everywhere you go on the internet. Can you imagine the rubbish this dude dump on the internet to occupy people's brains with? A marital affair that supposed to be a private thing as become something to share with the whole world. Absolutely ridiculous! ![]() |
Nice one |
Pathetic |
Nice only if it is relevant. Why do we like deceiving ourselves in Africa and Nigeria in particular. We know that western world agricultural system has gotten to the level of using smartphone app to monitor their output, but must we copy all what they do. How will this smartphone app going to help a farmer still using cutlass and hoe to farm. I see this as a scheme for a corrupt politician to embezzle some money |
I'm surprised to see people abusing Soyinka for what he said he did. Instead of having headache over Soyinka throwing away his green card, pray you get to his status in this life. Someone like Soyinka if he likes can get permanent resident card in Canada without hassle. So what is the fuse about him lying? The fact of the matter is Soyinka disassociate himself from Trump government. Soyinka has shown over his lifetime to challenge anything he thinks it's not right. Now the question for you abuser is, have you ever challenged the oppression and hardship you're facing in your own country? |
And so? ![]() |
Any serious minded country should know that absolutely depending on crude oil as source of revenue at this time implies disaster. Gone are the days where OPEC has authority. With non-opec countries like Russia, Canada and USA having significant oil reserves, if OPEC cut production in hope of expecting oil price to go up, I'm sorry to say these non-opec countries will fill up the cut in production. Unless there's an agreement between OPEC and non-OPEC to cut production (which I doubt will happen) oil price will likely not get to $70 per barrel again. Wise countries like UAE have invested the money they made from crude oil over the years to build an outstanding tourism sector. But Nigeria government wasted everything. Nothing to show for the money we generated from crude oil for decades |

Hmmm Why does everything got to be spiritual with Nigerians? ![]() If you buy a N16 million SUV and you can't buy a fire extinguisher inside, na you know If you buy a N16 million SUV and you can't get a full coverage insurance, na you know If you buy a N16 million SUV and you carry am give mumu to drive, na you know |
I don't even know what to say. I guess the expression a suspect remains a suspect until he's found guilty in the court of law doesn't apply to Nigerians. Anytime someone is suspected to have committed an offence, whether it's true or not, set them ablaze or beat them to pulp. A typical Nigerian doesn't have a single respect for the judicial system. Damn we got a long way to go ![]() Before you all come for my head, I'm not supporting this animal (if he's guilty), but instead of taking laws into your hands, why can't you hand him over to police and come up with convincing evidences and witnesses that will get him jailed for 25 years to life |
Buhari look who dey shake you not the Camera ![]() Oya Obama teach am how to shake ![]()

Congrats to her. |
Don't kill him or her o |
A similar story happened to me when I did my youth service in Enugu in 2007 My story is even more convincing than the op. I will give you brief summary For people that know Enugu, I went to buy something at new market before going to old park for my cds. Normally, I like taking bus because to me it's safer and you get to socialize. But this day, I decided to take a cab since old park is not far from new market. Inside the cab there were 2 people at the back (a man and a lady) a driver and a passenger in front. So I joined the 2 at the back. After driving for a while, the passenger at the front alighted and gave the driver some money. The driver moved for like 2 seconds before he realized that the money the dude gave him is dollars. So he reversed and told him he gave him 20 dollars which is an equivalent of 2000 naira. A dollar was roughly 100 naira or thereabout then. The guy in a foreign accent said he doesnt know that, that he taught naira is as valuable as dollar. The guy at the back which now sitting at the front told him bro, you need to change your dollars to naira, else people will cheat you. So he told him he can help him change it. Then he gave the guy a very ridiculous rate, that was when I chipped in and said the rate is way higher than that. The foreign guy then pleaded with all of us to help him with the exchange. He shared his story of why he's in Nigeria for a business purpose that didn't work. That because he's from ivory coast, he always do business in dollars that that was why he didn't know naira wasnt that valuable. This guy even spoke fluent French (I know a little bit of French) and showed us a flight ticket. The guy then promised us that if we could help him that he would give each one of us 10% of the value. The driver and the guy at the front both said they know where they can help him change it. The lady sitting beside me begged that I should follow them because she doesn't trust the driver and the other guy, and I seem to know the real exchange rate. As a sharp Lagos boy, I just giggled and told them I have cds to do, and I'm sorry I can't follow them. After a while, I figured out that if I continue to sit in the car, all 3 will continue to persuade me to follow them. I just gave the driver his money and alighted. After I got down, a lot of questioning came to my mind. How will a foreign investor not know exchange rate, who gives people he doesn't know free money, how come the driver is willing to help this dude at the expense of his work. When I got home from cds, I told my friends the story so they wise up and drank cold beer for being smart when it matters most ![]() |
I swear this Seun is a troublemaker ![]() I remember when I was young, we were told that every words spoken in tongue though may not make any sense to us, are actually comprehensible words of a real language somewhere on the surface of earth. Since there is no way to confirm which country the language comes from, I just believe. But now that the whole world is connected via internet, I haven't seen a situation where someone claim they understand the language ![]() |
fkdmods:I swear to God. I was like wtf too.....To some she is the best first lady ever. The thing is, most of them don't know how dire the situation in the country is until they leave the country |
chrisxxx:And what have you done with your university certificate? I will recommend one Fela song for you. COP: Country Of Pain |
fkdmods:You're so on point. Mass re-education and reorientation seems to be the only way forward. My first post on this thread was to mention abnormalities I observed amongst political elites in the country. Just as expected, instead of addressing the issue, they decided to correct my expression. Typical of people with inferiority complex. Say something bad about others in order to feel good about yourself. On this forum instead of the youth to challenge and question the status quo, they will rather support a system that hasn't worked for decades and rain insults on one another. An Igbo calling Yoruba Afonja, and Yoruba calling Igbo Igbo.s etc. And most of these people are in their late 20s, 30s and 40s. Little do they know that when Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu challenged the status quo in 1966, he was 29. When Balewa became prime minister, he was 47. When Ojukwu decided to liberate his people, he was 34. Ahmadu Bello was 28 when he became Sarduana. Awolowo was 45 when he became western premier. Gowon was 32 when he became head of state. Whether you think of any of them as hero or villain, they all made history and effect change before their 50s. But Nigerians in that age bracket now will rather campaign for Buhari, or Atiku, or claim Jonathan was Messiah, someone even wanted patience to contest. All Hope seems lost ![]() |
jbhitler:I used "thing" colloquially. But we shouldn't shy away from the fact that Nigeria leaders don't know what they are doing. |
Ohamzee:Chop knuckle, is you fine though? |
sekundosekundo:Never! But the fact still remain that there are few leaders better than him in the country. |
fkdmods:You are the only one that addressed the issue. And thanks for your point. Like you said, bad citizens produce bad leaders, I can't agree more. There are countless things that Nigerians don't see as big deal or bad but they define who we are, and why our socioeconomic and political system is in a sorry state. A typical Nigerian doesn't see anything bad in jumping a queue or demeaning others or honking unnecessarily on the road. These little things define our core values as people. I spent almost 2 years in Canada before I heard a car honk, and when it happened, it felt so strange. |
fof1:Trust me bro, you need to smoke British Columbia weed some day. Your life will never remain the same |
vickydevoka:Trust me dear, where I am, what I wrote is not wrong. Like if I type is you fine? I know you will say it's wrong |
XaintJoel20:I guess stating the obvious is Ignorance. You know what? I won't insult you, I will just pray that you get international exposure |
Amanwulu1:Do you feel better now? Even your mockery is wrong.....I guess you are one of those with thick accent |
kassy777:Why won't you prefer Buhari? I don't expect anything better from people like you |
Deban:You can say that again. Our political system is shameful. I've started seeing people campaigning for Atiku. Like seriously, have things really gone that bad in the country? |
1stolax:Clap for yourself. Do you feel good now? |
