When I look at Nigeria governors, senators, reps, president etc. I realize the reason why the country is so backward. How did this thing become a governor? I'm so sorry I touched a lot of nerves because of the message above. Funny enough none of them addressed the point raised except one. Instead, they will rather look for a way to feel important by insulting you. Typical of most Nigerians ![]() Just to elaborate on my point, what I mean is that Nigerian political leaders are true reflection of how deteriorated the system is. I guess Nigeria is a failed system for a reason. I'm sorry if this makes you feel uncomfortable but that's reality. Look at this Wike, and most of the people you elected as political leaders, do they look like people that know the heck they are doing? I remember last year when Canadian general election was ongoing, most of my white friends who are liberals were condemning Stephen Harper body language wondering how he became their prime minister in the first place. But to me, Harper look way smarter than any leader that has ever been elected in Nigeria. How can you be a governor and dress like a construction labourer with negative body language. A look at Nigeria Senate or house of Representatives session will make one realise how shameful things are in the country. But who am I to expect rational thought from people on this forum. On a last note, I will urge you to take look at Justin Trudeau, Malcolm Turnbull, Theresa May and Barack Obama, and tell me if they all don't look like people that know the heck they are doing. |
![]() Is he a soldier to be inspecting guard of honour? Naija politicians and mumu eye service |
Have they started celebrating this one too now? |
Wow! 40k for a lawyer with 3 years experience? omg! things are really damning in Nigeria |
Things are really bad |
Nothing in this world will make me watch the video. Some friends I have on Facebook that are sharing the images, is either I hide it or I unfriend them. Call me sissy if you like . I believe i have lived in a normal society for so long that videos like this is not only barbaric, it is disturbing to the mind.I hear some people saying why 7 year old boy? Because of ordinary garri? That means you support jungle justice for a grown up that steal something bigger. Some even say he must have deserved the justice. What a shame! The fact of the matter is, no matter the magnitude of offence a suspect commit, no one, I repeat no one has the right to put justice in their hands. For this reason, I say #notojunglejustice |
OgbonnaUbani:@mod, I believe you can see this comment I am not partisan, and I try not to involve in anything politics on this forum. Obj has his opinion likewise people that support his opinion. If anyone has a different opinion, they should lay it out with facts. But in a situation where an entity believes he or she will use the opportunity to insult other tribe should be severely frown at. @OAM4J, @mynd44, @seun, I believe the moniker OgbonnaUbani as well as other monikers swift in insulting other tribes deserve a very lengthy ban |
Delta people, you better look the face of the guy wey dey Uduaghan back very well. Na him be the next governor, after him, nah that woman wey her face no show |
SpitsOnYoruba:"Freedom of right to expression" really? Are you aware that the civil right act prohibits propagation of hate and prejudice? |
SpitsOnYoruba:@mod, I don't think you need to be told before giving this dude an extensive ban for his ludicrous moniker |
The first thing that came to my mind is Fela's original sufferhead song. In the song, he sang about how difficult is it to get good accommodation, how the government is not providing clean and potable water, how electricity is very erratic and how food stuff prices are skyrocketing. This song was released in 1981, and situation of things then was like heaven compare to things now. Excerpt from the song on food price, ..... ordinary food for man to enjoy for house nko, e no dey Where you go see am Dodo nko, 10 Kobo for one Akara nko, 20 Kobo for one Orange nko, 30 Kobo for one Bread nko, 40 Kobo for one, Na konkolo e be Bread nko, 60 Kobo for one, Na janjala e be Where you go see am E no dey e dey....... Nigeria situation is very pitiful, the country has been in reverse since I was born |
Really? What kinna fuckery is this? You gave your brother N1m, and so freaking what? Please Nairaland mods, soft pedal on the garbage you put on frontpage. Absolutely ridiculous!!! |
Nice |
Teenager |
Hypocrisy is when you jail a man that stole N41m for 70 years, and leave people that stole billions to continue living large and Lord over the poor citizens My question is when are those that have stolen billions going to be jailed? |
soberdrunk:This got me laughing so hard, especially the bolded |
DesChyko:That is one mistake you won't want to forgive yourself for. The zip to the P shaft happened because I used annoyance to zip up a stuck zip. After the bitter experience, nobody taught me to always package my thing well and handle zips with care |
Nigerians so difficult to rule |
DesChyko:Zip over balls, zip over pen!s shaft, zip over pen!s tip, I have experienced it all. Damn so painful, but nothing compares to a football shot hitting you in the balls. I could feel the pain in my brain. Then I understand the reason while footballers will rather block their balls with their hands instead of their eyes when an opponent was about to play freekick |
There is no way to make comparison. Women that have had labour pain don't have balls, and we men that have balls can't give birth NB: IMO, labour pain is more important because it brings forth life |
ihatebuhari:Don't use Jesus name in vain |
The losers are those killing themselves for these politicians Wise up my people, no politician worth spilling your blood for |
@Op forgive her... But before you forgive her have a mature one on one conversation with her. Let her know that she has to tell you the truth and own up to the age falsification. Not only that, she has to reveal any secret about her that you don't know in order for you to trust her. If she insist on her story, then I will advise you to ask for a very genuine evidence to proof it. Like going to her primary or secondary school and get the original register for her first day in school, or obtain a copy of the letter she wrote to Waec for age correction. You can even go to the extent of asking her to do bone test. And for people saying op is not serious, it is just ordinary age. Do you know how long 6 years is?, if it is just 1 or 2 years it's pardonable (though lie is still lie and she has to apologize) but 6 years is a very huge gap and a lot of things could have happened within those years. Imagine if you were the OP, how will you feel thinking that you are a year older than your wife only to find out that your wife could be 5 years older than you. That means your wife has to from babe turn sugar mummy. |
That was just an excessive overspeeding |
@OP, They say there are 2 sides to every story and if your wife is given the chance to talk, she will probably say something different. Though, I feel that at least 80% of what you said is true from your responses to questions asked. However, what I can deduce from your story is that your wife never respected or have very little regard for you, and the reason she was able to stay for over 4 years was because of the good job you had. You lost her the moment you lost that job and venture into a business that resulted into another lost. Only you, her and God knows the reason why she never respected you but I may be right to say there are some underlining factors. Some of the factors could be that she thinks she is too beautiful or smart to be stuck with you, or you always show that you won't survive if she leaves you and that got into her head or she sees you as a weak man. Talking about being weak, I can feel that you are a gentleman, but I can also feel that you are a man easily influenced by women around him. I don't mean to demean you bro, but my reasons for saying this in order of events are, firstly, you said your wife slapped you while she was pregnant but you never retaliated but when you spoke with her mother, she endorsed you beating her. This shows that your action of beating her was influenced by her mother. Secondly, you said you wife went to spend some time with your sister in Oshogbo only to come back and persuade you into moving there. You need not say it, things are better for your family in Lagos where you are hustling than Oshogbo, you succumbing to that persuasion shows some weakness. Also, by moving to Oshogbo where your family lives can make her feel that she is being put in the middle on most issues. Lastly, you said you wanted your kids back, but at the same time you decided not to go to her family house because your mother said so. Bro, if you really want your kids back I think you should do whatever it takes. My advice, Taking her back or not is something entirely left to you. But if you do wanna forgive and take her back, I think you must set some rules she need to abide and consent to, and show her that though you're a gentleman, but you will not tolerate her disrespecting or disregarding you. If you however insist that it's over, I think you need to gather your evidences and head to court ASAP because if you don't do so, everyday your kids spend with her will always be a big concern to you knowing the wickedness what she's capable of doing to them as she doesn't love them. |
Jackossky:Funny you said the office doesn't belong to the public. Just a question for you bro, if the office doesn't belong to the public, does it mean that the LG chairman can put pix of his father or a female model he admires in the office? |
Jackossky:I would have appreciated it if you put out your point without insult. Now to explain what I mean, no doubt that Bola Tinubu is a powerful figure in APC, and the LG chairman is an APC member. However, since he is putting the pix in a public office and not his home, he shouldn't put the pix there because the office belongs to the public. Hope you can see my emphasis on public office |
I will celebrate it by listening to Legendary Fela Anikulapo-Kuti There are numerous Fela songs where he foresaw and sang about what is happening today 30, 40 years ago |
This is lovely |
Stupidity of the highest order from the Local government chairman . Why would you put the pix of someone who is neither the president nor the governor in a public office? |
Let's continue glorifying Sani Abacha, and 100 years from now, the kids of that generation will listen to Nigerian anthem and think Late General Sani Abacha is one of our heroes past NB: As a matter of fact, there are very few heroes past that had come out of Nigeria, and those few heroes are not celebrated or minimally celebrated. Little wonder the Nigerian national anthem is not that regarded by the citizens in comparison to the way americans regard their star-spangled banner |
Berbierklaus:I knew you were bursting my balls ![]() I appreciate you seeing sense in my opinion. All the best dear |
