l have this former student of mine who hasn't been working since he completed HND in 2012 and NYSC in 2013. l supervised his HND project and he happened to be a fantastic boy. He was President of the campus fellowship of CAC during his time. After complaining to me that he hasn't been able to secure a job for the past four years, l tried to speak to three individuals among the alumni association of the institution who have created their own jobs to help employ him. Two of them recently invited him for interview. The first one was in June and the second one in August. I just discovered that he hasn't been calling me and those employers didn't bother to tell me anything about him. l bumped into him yesterday afternoon and asked why he didn't bother to update me on the job interviews. He apologised and politely told me those jobs aren't God's will for him. I was surprised to hear this. I called the two people who invited him and they told me he claimed the job isn't God's will for him only after they've discussed salary. One of them even offered him 60k which is higher than what Ondo State Government offers entry point graduates/HND holders (l live in Akure). I'm confused because this is a guy who is presently living with his uncle and he told me his uncle's wife is already pressurising her husband to send him away since he's not working. l concluded that he must have talked about this God's will thing with his uncle and his wife. This is funny to me or how do you see it?
Good morning sir. Pls can you be of help too..I have been jobless for while now. I await your favourable reply. Eseun gidigan sir. |

Romance › Re: Traditional Wedding Of The Young Abia Couple (Photos) by Welcomme: 7:50pm On Sep 18, 2017 |
bestman09: I have a friend who got married like this in the year 2002. He was exactly 20 yrs, 8 months then while the wife was 21 years then. His own case was because he was an only child and the parents were an average family. Fast forward today, They have 6 children. Three of the children are graduates. Two of them are in Nairaland here. The eldest daughter is also married with 2 kids. So my friend is a grand father at 45 years, and the marriage has grown from strength to strength. The bottom line is that age do not matter much if the couple understand and respect each other Your friend got married 15years ago and three of your friend's children are graduate. At what year did they graduate pls? From which university? The children are married at what age pls? Remember u said he got married 2002 which is 15years back. Let assume he gave birth to his first child in 2003, that child will b 14 years old. So bro tell me, how could it have been possible for a 14year old child to b a graduate and also have children. You guyz think u can come hear and lie for people..Lie Mohammed |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Can He Achieve His Dream With N500k? Pls Advise by Welcomme: 11:33am On Sep 18, 2017 |
Ochinex: He should save more money and fly out of this country asap.. Nigeria is getting no better now and won't get better later.. Thank me later.. Fly out to where? To go and do what there? PatrickOkunima: If your friend lives in Lagos, he can get a cheap one room apartment in places like Epe. Rent: N5,000 per month multiplied by 6 months, that's N30,000. Agreement fee: N5,000. That's 35k. With 65k he should be able to arrange a mattress, buy utensils and other things to set-up the room. The balance of N400,000 he can use to buy keke for transportation biz. There's no way he'll not make N3,000 per day. If I come up with a better idea, I'll share it here. I wish him success. This is the best advise..I wish I can get this money, I would have taken this advice. |

SmartyPants: Heavy sweating at night is a symptom of tuberculosis not HIV though TB is symptomatic of AIDs. However this would only manifest itself when HIV has matured to AIDS I believe.
I'm all liklihood, OP is experiencing medical student syndrome, where he has read or heard of these symptoms and his mind is dwelling on them out of fear.
OP just do a test. The nigga is positive.. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Sol Interview by Welcomme: 4:19pm On Sep 11, 2017 |
LexMacquin: It's A Sales Executive job, where you are to sell bank products (various bank accounts) to customers. You will have a monthly target of 60 accounts(or 15 accounts per week), with N2-5m to be raised within the month. You will also be on a fixed salary and a commission.
Note that your fixed salary ranges from N30,000- N40,000 depending on the bank, and that SOL takes a portion of it each month (about 10% of your pay). Your commission is also about N2,500/N3,000 per million you get for the bank.
Once you sign on, you will undergo a training at SOL concerning how to sell more effectively and efficiently too. The interview is not a big deal, infact they need you more than you need them. So no need for worries or fear.
Lastly if you have nothing doing, you should sign for this program immediately, a cousin of mine started out with them and is now a full staff. The program helps you meet people, makes you a better salesperson, and sets you on a right career path for the future. How do I apply pls? Any link? |
