Timblogga: Please I want to renew my passport, I went online and I saw the charge is 17K, but earlier today I called someone that works in Immigration she told me 40K for standard, 65K for express. Please I want to know, if I apply online, would I still need to do anything at their office that will warrant them extorting me with those exorbitant fees? Also I want to help a family member apply for a new one, will she have to do capturing, when she can just input her NIN number? Please kindly reply and perhaps I wrong kindly correct, Thanks It is a free world. You can apply online if you are not in a haste to get it. At least you will get it in the next one year and might probably get frustrated and still pay money to even get it out. I advise you pay for the express and get your passport out. If you are in Abuja, you can contact me, I know someone that did mine.. Express will cost you 45k... You will get it highest two to three days |

Childofaking: Please compare that to wherever you are and see, we are much better. That crate of egg at N1800 is still less than $4 Can you buy a whole crate of egg at $4 in the us ?
i just google it. it cost about $15 in the USA (about N8,850) You are daft. In that same America, an unskilled worker (What we call labourer here) earn about 8-9 dollars per hour.. So it means a laborer can conveniently use his one to two hours of his daily wages to buy a crate of egg. Over here in Nigeria, hardly will you see a laborer that goes home with 1500naira (2.82 dollars) and he is expected to work for roughly 10 hours a day before he could earn that 1500naira (2.82dollars) which means his one day earning is not even enough to buy a crate of egg while his counterpart in US can decide to work for just two hours and earn about 16 dollars which will be enough to walk to McDonalds and eat chicken and chips and change will still remain.. How many labourers have you seen going to Chicken republic or Domino here? So tell me again, which is cheaper? BTW, a crate of egg is not up to 15$.. Highest it not more than 7$ and seven dollars is nothing to anybody here even those that are not working and depend on benefit. |

tiger28: Crate of eggs in the US is about $3 .....almost same. All those tomatoes that you bought for N1500 ($3) , you will pay about $10 for those. Food stuff are cheap in Naija abeg! You are daft. In that same America, an unskilled worker (What we call labourer here) earn about 8-9 dollars per hour.. So it means a laborer can conveniently use half of his one hour wage to buy a crate of egg. LordIsaac: Partly because a true church's light ought to shine so bright as to extinguish evil. With the amount of so called churches in Nigeria, see the amount of wickedness perpetrated by Nigerians daily. Very unfortunate! All institutions, particularly the false churches in Nigeria must be blamed. How is the church's fault that three Muslim teenagers did evil? Them no get mosque or Alfa? |

CorperKola: Who are the people focused on money n prosperity?? Who are the people riding private jets and helicopters off religion?? Is it Alfas or Imams? After all these that you wrote, majority (90%) of people caught doing this ritual stuff are Muslims. Even these teenagers that were caught are all Muslims. The woman that connived with her son to use their younger one for rituals are Muslims. So pls spare us of that nonsense talk. For every 10 ritualists and agbero causing problem in SW, 8 are having names like Sodiq, Waheed, Ismaila, Azeez e.t.c In my side, it is these same Alfas that do work for these yahoo boys. People come from Delta, Edo and far as South East to come and meet these Alfas to do work for them. |

Acidosis: That's the norm. When Muslims commit crimes, islamic leaders keep mute since they already know that ediots who call themselves Christians will gather to blame Oyedepo and Adeboye for what Waheed, Saheed, and Muhammad decided to do. As in ehnn... Should I say it is see finish that is causing people calling out churches every time when they have no business with what is at hand? Most of these ritual killings in SW are done by Muslims and by their clerics yet it is the church useles* Christians will be blaming. You will never see a Muslim blame the mosque or their Alfas despite the fact that they are the majority doing these shits in SW. Recently, Oyedepo and Ibieyiome talked against this yahoo stuff, it is this same Christians that came for their head... |

dollyparton: Dear all, Good morning house and happy new month to us all. I asked a question a couple of pages back but I didn't get a clear answer probably due the way the question was framed. So I'll restructure it to make it clearer. I hold an unconditional offer from a university in the UK and I already paid deposit it I'm awaiting CAS subject to passing a PRE-CAS interview they called visa credibility interview. I had a practice session yesterday and one particular issue raised by the interviewer was that although I might have the required POF (which has already matured), i might still be asked to give evidence of how i came about such money. The interviewer told me my job and my salary earnings do not correspond with the POF thus I might have issues with financial credibility.
Now my question is can I mention a relative who is a UK citizen resident in the UK as my sponsor given that I can obtain a letter from her stating she's my sponsor with proof of her financial credibility. Also she was the one that paid my deposit. Please I'll appreciate fast answers as I'll be taking the pre-CAS interview today.
Thanks and God bless.
Cc Justwise Sorry to ask,how did they know your salary? |

dollyparton: Thank you sir for your insight. The money is actually in my account. And my POF has actually matured. However during my practice session for the pre-CAS interview, the interview told me my current job doesn't correspond with the amount required for my POF and I have to be more convincing about my ability to show that I can maintain myself in the UK. The interviewer said there's a difference between having the POF in my account and being able to convince on it's source. That's my dilemma sir. Can someone shed light on this |
