Of course, America is corrupt.

ibuildstuff:
They were referring to the Afghanistan government here not US.

But obviously there's corruption in every govt of the world but Nigeria is monumental, Nigeria politicians literally looted the country dry.
That money was provided by Americans and managed by SIGAR, controlled by Americans.

Americans siphoned by money. My point, there is corruption everywhere like you said, Nigeria's case is not unique. it is a problem still.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Biden Assertions On Afghanistan Fact-Checked (Photos) by wellmax(m): 7:56am On Aug 20, 2021
It's also worth noting that the Afghan army may have been well funded and equipped on paper, but the reality was different, often blamed on corruption and low morale.
Is this really happening to the almighty saints in America. You see, corruption is an international pleague. Let's stop seeing it as a Nigerian or African problem

Kobojunkie:
1. The church itself is built on the doctrines and traditions of your pastor. Your very lives are steeped in those doctrines and those of you who attend church are blind followers of your pastors doctrines which are not the New Covenant teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, God's New Covenant Law in the Kingdom of God. undecided

2. The Op is no different from the rest of you who believe and follow every word breathed from the mouth of your pastors and his various mogs. undecided

So, before you preach at the Op, remove the huge log in your own eyes so you can clearly see that you both follow the same path, only he has run up against a wall on his way to the same destination and in the same direction which you are all headed together in. undecided
Fallacy. Hope had a problem outsourcing his life to a church. That is not what the church teaches. He has himself to blame.

The doctrines you spoke about, do you even know then at all. Aren't they biblical doctrines? Except you do not know what you speak of.

I believe all my pastor teaches as a man of God. His sermon notes are made available in the public sphere, every sentence backed up with the relevant bible verse. Every week he gives opportunity for members to ask questions. If any body gets it wrong, it is those who have never been there but stay outside and make conclusions and form an opinion on what they know little or nothing about.

Back to op, he's just a church goer, parent follower that does not understand God or the church he worships at. At 35 that's a very big shame on him.

That is if the story is true, because it's not uncommon for folks here to throw up names of popular pastor and politicians just to catch cruise.

I rest my case, you are free to believe whatever you want. The church of God is marching on, and the gates of hell cannot prevail.

With the multitude that throng the church and follow it's teaching worldwide, ops comment is just one of those who's parent have so failed in making them see for themselves why they attend a particular church. He has not discovered himself.

Kobojunkie:
You advise him not to be a blind follower of your church doctrines, even as you, in the same breath celebrate some of the very same things your church doctrines teach you to celebrate. Are you kidding? undecided
Where and when do they teach you to be a blind follower?

These are people who just follow their parents to church without any personal encounter, now they are looking for whom to blame. Aren't there people over 50 who do not attend any church and are still unmarried? Who do they blame now.

Op is just a blind follower, waiting for the church to direct his life. He is a church follower and not a follower of Christ as the church teaches.
Christianity Etc › Re: Help, At 35 No Bearing Yet!!! by wellmax(m): 9:48pm On Aug 19, 2021
You've messed up your life now you are blaming a church.

I go to Gbagada, Deeper life HQ, and always feel proud seeing young couples dressed in and co, taking pictures or with their kids. In the same church you seek to blame.

Go and deliver yourself from yourself and stop blaming any church.

Don't be a blind follower.

Rugaria:
[s]You guys from yorubaland need to put an immediate end to your moronic fixation on igbos if you're ever going to make progress in life. This topic is about Edo State that's even closer to the South West, but as usual, you have managed to introduce the igbos into it. Them take Igbo swear for una? No other part of this country has an open minded approach to welcoming peaceful strangers to their traditional environment than the South East. Nobody blows the horn over this in the SE because it's a normal tradition... Problem is that folks like you can't compete. I don't know what you will do there that's not already being done by folks there apart from selling agbo ofcourse.. There's no single example of Yorubas being attacked specifically because they're Yorubas in the SE. No attacks against Northerners apart from revenge actions arising from incessant attacks on easterners from Northerners. That can't be said of the South West...

An ezendigbo was "flogged" in Akure! Lagos banned Ézè Ndigbo. Markets dominated by Igbo traders have been burnt down in different parts of the South West. Igbo voters in Lagos were violently stopped from casting their votes during the last general elections by Tinubu and Mc Oluomo and no body in yorubaland spoke up. The Oba of Lagos threatened to push igbos into the lagoon, if they don't vote according to Yoruba interests. The late former governor of Oyo refused to accept the possibility of Makinde becoming the governor of Oyo state because he thought Uche Secondus the PDP chairman is Igbo! You guys sell marshy plots of swamp lands for prices above beachfront estates in Dubai to igbos in Lagos, together with all the extortions from your thugs, but nobody complains. I guess it's the lack of endless protestations that makes you think you are the best..[/s]
Pigs never have anything good to say.

The nightmare of ipobs.

His name's alone sends shivers to their spine.

The only man that have even presidents, monsters, governors, ambassadors visit at home.

Ignore Tinubu at your own peril.

He has not declared intention to contest, but pigs are already having hbp.

Thumbs up for the king maker.

Left office since 2017, yet he's more relevant than most servicing politicians.

Meaning he will live outside his country until he dies. His loot is not even up to half of what Tinubu has looted from Lagos coffers
Pele óò Accountant General. Despite all this misplaced hatred and envy, Tinubu is still better than all your politicians combined, dead or alive.

The Lagos that Tinubu helped build has become the most progressive, most prosperous, most accomodating, most advanced state in Nigeria, despite not being a major oil producing state neither can it boast of any natural resources.

What do your leaders have to show since 1999.

Envy will kill you.

Long live the Jagaban of Africa.

The US and the Western world have always lived at the expense of the so-called "Third World".

The current world order is so unfair, especially to Africa.

Why hold billions of dollars in foreign accounts in the name of Foreign Reserve? huh

Almost every country in the world maintains such accounts with the US, just imagine how much they get as interest, how much they can give as loans or relief to their citizens, what they give us as grants, just a tiny part of what should have been the interest on monies kept with them.

The current world order is flawed....

You mean everything is going on right but ASUU just decide to go on strike out of wickedness? You mean ASUU can try that nonsense and the government will fold their arm and watch them? You should at least be reasonable in your submissions.
Do not misquote me or put up words I did not say.

Let me rephrase for people like you, the strike is not the only way to resolve a trade dispute. ASUU only accessed weapon is strike actions.

By the way, I insist, the majority of the contending issues is about staff welfare (rightly too) and not a concern for improving learning conditions for students or improving educational standards as ASUU will always make us believe. I know these things.
