Three policemen, who followed a suspected fraudster into a banking hall to withdraw money from his account have been arrested and dismissed. The policemen, Sergeant Okechukwu Okpokwu, Sergeant Idemudia Monday and Corporal Bienonwu Richard, were all attached to Area C Police Command, Surulere, Lagos State. They should not only be dismissed but jailed, less they go into crime full time. The CP further instructed that they should be detained and charged to court for robbery. “The CP said they held gun, followed someone into banking hall to collect money. He said it was robbery,” said the source. Oh I see they have been handled rightly |

Vanguard and SR dey compete in foolishness A Thomson Reuters Foundation investigative team spoke to more than 10 Nigerian women duped into giving up their newborns to strangers in houses known as “baby factories” in the past two years or offered babies whose origins were unknown. I am sure you didn't read that part. Oh you didn't read at all sef. Maybe you are one of the adopted babies. sorry oo. |

I wonder why it is very difficult for this country to have again people like awolowo, jakande, ige etc. Those were true leaders. One can rightly call them fathers to their people because they gave purposeful leadership.[/s] Pessimism and Hatred is going to kill you |

Hemanwel: Commendable development! But the idea that the project should start from University of Ibadan because it's the premier university is only but a sentimental reason.
BTW:
My take on the Chibok girls release... The first question I would like to ask is: why were the 21 girls released now that the popularity of this Buhari-led APC government has dwindled almost to the barest minimum - even among the south-westerners who contributed largely to his ascention to power? Is it to distract Nigerians from the recession in the land? Is it to distract Nigerians and the world at large from the judges arrest? Is it to gain back his popularity among the south-westerners due to his feud with Bola Tinubu? One thing I know for sure is that Chibok girls' kidnap is Buhari's,Shettima's,and other northern elites' ploy to discredit the past administration.I mean,Buhari,Kassim Shettima (Borno state gov),El-Rufai,Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, and some other big northerners know about the kidnap. They have equally seen it as an avenue to use it to score cheap political points in this administration. So,in essence, there was Chibok girls kidnap and it was politically motivated.[/b] I have noticed that jobless folks are better at conspiracy theories. |

aminulive: Council had found His Lordship culpable of professional misconduct contrary to Code of Conduct for Judicial Officers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the provisions of Section 292 of 1999 Constitution of Federal Republic of Nigeria. Accordingly, he was recommended to Mr President for compulsory retirement from office following the petition written by one Mr Nnamdi Iro Oji for demanding the sum of N200,000,000.00 (Two Hundred Million Naira) bribe. It is to be stressed that from the evidence before the Council, Hon. Justice Ladan Tsamiya did not receive N200m bribe. T Did anyone see that? Useless NJC. Is asking for bribe not a crime? |
