U mean vaccinated? No, this leg swelling just started not really long., before this, we were thinking it was nocturnal asthma(night time) that was 3 or more years ago..before corona outbreak in Nigeria..so, definitely not corona stuff.
Then, we visited the general hospital and nothing was seen or detected.. But using franol and predisonone worked fairly and that made us thought it's asthma related..
But, it doesn't appear as asthma now, it's just swollen legs and sometimes shortness of breathe..
I was thinking that we should go for xray/scan , although using one drug like that reduces the swelling to the bearest minimum.. I'm just confused

This could be related to Heart, Liver or Kidney.
Can you answer few of my questions
Do you have itchy skin?
Do you have smelly breathe?
Do u hardly sleep at night?
Do you loss weight or gain weight or you're just d way you are?
Any pains in your stomach? If yes, which side of the stomach?

Sorry about this,sir. I understand this perfectly; it was a very frustrating experience for me as my son had a particular time he used to cry (1am); he would cry for about 1hr 30mins and sleep off. I was always traumatized being a first time mom with no expert around; my hubby was always frustrated too. We would just keep looking at him as he cried with misty eyes sometimes.
I read the face down on thigh method whilst rocking him; it worked temporarily like I said.
Its a phase that will pass without any intervention sef.
Wait o! I just recalled we used herbs o; the frustration was out of this world; Yoruba people call it 'agbo inuwo". Dont know the English; it worked better than gripe water
Please,be careful with herbs o; make i do disclaimer here. I used it intermittently for my son out of fear.

It is not easy at all and I'm a type that always scared if anything isn't in d right place.
I was told he will overcome the phase on or before 3months but I'm already getting tired of it, though there is improvement. It's not that serious like when he was 2 weeks old.

This seems like the b*tch called colic- my greatest fear in a newborn. Gripe water rarely does a thing; tbh. Try and lay him face down on your thighs and rock him; it worked transiently for my son.
The whole episode passed after 6-8 excruciating weeks without doing anything.

Also, I'll like to ask for your EDD.
Though my wife saw her mucus plug 16hrs to delivery, but she is already 10days late. So, when I go through the internet, I learnt that mucus plug can be seen as early as 36 weeks.
Also, it's not a sign of labour, it's just a sign that labour may come soon.
So, if you haven't pass Ur EDD, or u pass Ur EDD with less than a week, u just have to be calm, Ur baby is on his way

It's just her feelings then. She needs to use a scale to ascertain weightloss.
Babies should be treated by a pediatrician, let her take the baby to see one on Monday and help put her mind to rest.

i might say its colic but u said baby is stoolin as well... Tell ur wife to watch wat she eat... Wat she eat reflects on baby's health cs d baby take all she eat frm her breast milk.... For example, if she is taking soft drinks, she shld stop it n to reduce colic frm baby she shld reduce her milk intake instead she she shld switch to healthy foods for baby's sake.... Baby shldnt b losing weight but adding, losing weight is bad news.. She shld stay away frm sugar n fried foods as well ... Her body isnt her body until baby stop breastfeeding so she shldnt b eating anything she want n consider baby's health.

It might be colic. It's peculiar to male kids. There are medications for it, but please see a doctor.

How old is this baby? And is it a pediatrician treating him? Is the weight loss confirmed by a scale? Weight loss in infants is an emergency and should not be treated with levity.

I saw mucus plug on Tuesday morning (without blood though, just a big long and thick mucus which I guess is mucus plug) I've been waiting for contractions since but seems none... This morning, I started feeling serious pain on my back and right leg that I can't walk well, no serious contraction still just stomach tightening.

Mucus plug can be seen few days to delivery. You're close to delivery so relax, you'll soon meet Ur LO

I'll tell my mom to follow dat step too coz my mom do give him water once in a while especially when my wife isn't producing enough breast milk. But now that she's producing enough, dey should keep giving him breast milk.
They called me yesterday to send money for baby food. I think they don't really need baby food, Abi what do you think.
They one we bought the other time is when my wife isn't producing milk at all for about 6days after delivery
