My Prince arrived at exactly 38 weeks on Saturday November 14 with a lil tear given to me by a nurse and weighed 3.65kg. I thank God for a safe delivery!

once she clocked 41weeks n she isnt showin any sign of labour abeg tk ur wife to d hospital asap bcs by dis time d amniotic fluid will b reducin n baby is gonna feel cramped up n stressed at d same time which isnt gud... It ws wat i did wit my precious pregnancy.... I went 2 d hospital wen i was 41weeks n was not in labour... I ws induced dt very day, labour started immediately n within 1hr baby was out.

Hi daddy, I think they say its +/- 2 weeks but if you aren't sure, you both can go to the clinic. Moreover it's she showing any labour signs? Let her take regular walks, eat pineapple, baby dance if she can and also check on her gynae.

She will deliver safely in Jesus name.

I don't know if she still show any labour sign. but there was a time she told me she felt some labour sign about a week or 2 weeks ago
Also, d last time we did scan about 3 weeks ago, d baby is head down.

My baby has passed her EDD but he's still kicking and active inside her mom.
EDD is 13th of Nov.
Should I be worried?

Lmaoooo! Ikr! My sister,ohun oju tiri ,enu o le so ni o( what my eyes have seen in this preggy journey; my mouth cant tell it all). I barely sleep nowadays i pee every 15-20mins now; the kicks are out of this world; like very painful kicks that radiate to my pelvic bone. You need to see the amount of dirt my hubby swept out of the house yesterday; i felt soo bad and cant wait to get my strength back. I just tire #endofrant

Done scan about 2 weeks ago. They said EDD is October 8.
Here is October 8, baby still playing inside.
Though previous EDDs are 13th Nov., 20th Nov., And base on LMP is 17th Nov.
Make he come quick o. Papa is waiting to welcome him

Oluwa seun. She can try St. Gregory hospital(Okurume) or even State hospital(though the nurses have skoin skoin but they are good.). Okurume is a very good doctor,I don't know if he's still practicing or has handed over to his doctor son. I went there when I had a terrible tear from another hospital and it refused to heal.

Pls let her go to another scan centre. I had a similar case in 2013. My EDD was December and everything had been fine until one ante-natal,I was back dated with almost 4 weeks,I bluntly told the doctor that wasn't my EDD but he already recorded it,the next ante-natal,he continued from where he stopped and I told him again that my baby was due in December not January. He told me to go outside the hospital for another scan which confirmed what I said,I have birth second week of December. Pls she should seek a second opinion.

Firstly, quickly go and register at a hospital ASAP! Or are you waiting for her to fall into labor before you do?
Secondly at this stage, it could be an indication of IUGR, although one cannot conclude as there are other factors to rule out possible fetal distress, before ruling IUGR.

What is the baby's kick count?

Firstly, she went to register yesterday though the doctor incharge isn't around so she register and den did scan.
Secondly, I can't ascertain d kick count but I was with her last weekend and the baby kicks as many times as possible and he's very active.
I've order her to go for another scan this morning and tell me d result

I think it's because baby has dropped (closer to the pelvic) same thing happened to me with my first pregnancy.
But since it's a new place, I'll suggest you see another sonographer to be certain.

It's good to go to another lab for scan.

I did my scan recently and it showed 31wks instead of 35wks, I told the doctor that it's not correct . He asked for my LMP and my previous scan, o told him and he said ok and did a recheck, and the recheck was have us 35wks.

I wasn't satisfied with his result, the next week I went for another test at my first lab which cost me more. But the result came out as 36wks which is the same as the first one I did with them. The EED was just 2days apart.

Let her use another lab and counter the result if necessary.

I'll tell her to go for another scan tomorrow.

every other thing is ok based on this result. Placenta in a normal position, baby already head down getting ready to enter the pelvis for labour to start. Though nothing about heartbeat in this result. Is she always feeling kicks & movements?

frm wat u said... It means d baby stopped growing... It may b where u did d scan d machine isnt workin properly or smtin... First go to anoda laboratory center n rescan to knw dt all is well... Den ur wife shld go c a doctor... U shld definitely go to anoda lab jst to giv u rest of mind... Dnt sit on it... Nxtwk is too far 4 u to wait n c a doctor... Baby measurin small aint gud news, i pray all is well... Gudluck

it could be a sign that baby is small. What's his weight? Is everything other things like heartbeat, placenta, baby's positioning ok? I will advice you see her doctor

My wife went to do ultrasound scan this morning. She was 37 weeks but d scan says 32 weeks.
Please, is there anything to worry about?
I don't know why it reduces with 5 weeks

D last time we did ultrasound scan, she was 23 weeks and d scan measure 24 weeks. It shows d baby was developing well.
So, what's now d issue with this result again
We use different scan centre because of change of location. We are in Ibadan b4 but relocate to Ado Ekiti
Could it be an issue with there scan system or what?

Please, someone should attend to this
