Hello mamas. My 5 month + old baby is always crying in the night while sleeping without even opening his eyes. If he sleep within 15mins, he'll start crying but during the day he will be fine and playing but when night comes that's when the issue arise. What could be the problem and what can we do to solve this issue

Please let her get oral drip and mix with 1 liter of water and be giving baby. She will also need zinc tablets but the dosage might be confusing for her. But let her start with the oral drip before baby becomes weak from losing electrolytes. And she should head straight to the hospital for further treatment. Purging and vomiting in babies is not to be toyed with.

My LO has been purging since last nite. I was just hearing that news tonight.
My wife is the only one at home and I traveled yesterday. Will be back home today.
She's a novice that's why she didn't say anything since morning not until now that she called me.
What can she give the baby to stop him from purging?

Hello Sir, it is not weird or out of place to start her period this early, some people start between 6weeks - 8 weeks after delivery, has she gone for her 6 weeks check-up, let her complain to her Dr, but if you are concerned about the heaviness of the flow let her go to the hospital asap pls.

Not to scare you but my sis had retained placenta after delivery which is a very serious issue and she kept loosing blood but she thought it was lochia, thank God she went to the hospital and an evacuation had to be done to remove the remaining placenta.

Please take your wife to the hospital asap especially since her mum is concerned also, better to get checked and certified okay than take chances.

Hello sir... It is normal.... Since ur wife isnt practicing exclusive breastfeeding, her prolactin level drops which made her menstruation came early... D only women dt dont gt der menstratn stil dey stop breastfeeding r d women who r on EBF.

But she always breastfeed our baby. Maybe she gave him formula once or twice per day.
She breastfeed him more
Also, the flow is too heavy that my wife is getting scared .
Her mom also told us that it's too early for her to menstruate.

Went to an hospital today, for scan and it came out that one of the kidney is not functioning well but it is still ok.. So, they suggested that I take drip(water).

Okay.
I will suggest u go for kidney function test. It's a blood test.
That will give you d clear picture how the kidneys are functioning. I mean the % at which they function. Please, try to go for the blood test (kidney function test)

Since the legs are swelling, definitely there is water retention. Maybe you're not urinating well or something
Also, it would be heart related if heart is not pumping very well, making the body to retain water. Likewise d liver too
Since it's associated with shortness of breath then u need to act fast.
