Acidosis: I hate to argue blindly but the problem here is the point you guys are trying to make- ''Humility and "Nobody is above the law syndrome"

1.''He was caught up in traffic and seeing a military man accelerating his 406 at a steady uninterrupted speed on another lane got him angry''

. . . assuming the man driving was Asiwaju Tinubu, what do you think would have happened?
Then tell us you've seen him allow Tinubu have a free ride on the BRT lane lets condemn him for his hypocrisy - Have you?
Politics › Re: Fashola Arrests Army Officers On BRT Lane by wesley80(m): 12:52am On Jul 18, 2012
antitpiah: Are we looking at the same thing? There was no traffic ahead of him. What he did by stopping in the middle of the road was to make an already bad situation worse for many an innocent commuter. There is no excuse for his error in judgment. He could have written the officers plate numbers down and then report them to their superiors. There is no point making a show out of what would turn out to be a non-issue. The BRT lane was empty and the officers are upstanding members of the society, a little privilege here and there for these patriotic men will not kill the governor and his corrupt entourage.
Like I said, the Governor was caught up in traffic like every other person. There couldn't have been more than a 10 or 20yard distance if any existed in front of his vehicle so there shouldn't be any talk of worsening any situation. In any case, his greatest achievement in doing this is the MESSAGE he has clearly sent out - zero tolerance to lawlessness. Now tell me, would that have been accomplished if he'd taken down his number in the comfy of his jeep? And lest I forget, are military officers more upstanding than Governors?
Politics › Re: Fashola Arrests Army Officers On BRT Lane by wesley80(m): 12:29am On Jul 18, 2012
antitpiah: So stopping your car in the middle of the road, impeding the flow of traffic and causing a reckless or dangerous situation, is right in your retardeddd mind?

Fashola is just as guilty as the officer
Now now now. lets troubleshoot. I knew there was a problem somewhere, either your lens have failed or the entire left lobe of your head has. The Governor was caught up in traffic like everyother person DUH! THere's a picture to prove it.
Politics › Re: Fashola Arrests Army Officers On BRT Lane by wesley80(m): 12:24am On Jul 18, 2012
antitpiah: SO it is wrong to grant those Military officers, who are willing and ready to defend our failed country with their lives, just a little privilege like driving on an empty BRT lane . . . is that too much to ask for? Too much privilege to grant these officers? Really?
I feel like giving you a very dirty slap on your left ear - I mean the type that'll have your ear producing milk every morning for one week. Privi-wetin? If I hear that word for your mouth again!
Politics › Re: Fashola Arrests Army Officers On BRT Lane by wesley80(m): 12:16am On Jul 18, 2012
antitpiah: SO it is right for him to break several laws on the other lane because he wanted to catch a law breaker on the BRT lane?
What other laws did he break?
Politics › Re: Fashola Arrests Army Officers On BRT Lane by wesley80(m): 12:11am On Jul 18, 2012
Acidosis: For every persons that insulted me based on my previous comments- y'all are fool.ish.
Is it the work of a Governor to arrest people on the road? Why was this made public in the first place. The man has a thing for the military and I know it. The other day, He insulted Mr President with his commanding tune just because GEJ ordered the military into your streets to save you people from your own breeded hoodlums.

O you shallow minded people, look beyond your nose, i.diotz. Why can't he use his agbada and masquerade clothed civilian fellows in government as examples? Why the military?
Shut your mouth you blabbering mor0n! How many police officers have the courage to intercept a military vehicle how much more one that belongs to a high ranking officer? How many sitting Governors even have that courage? Instead of applauding the governors courage you're running your mouth like a 2year old as if bearbear neva already cover your nyash. What has setting a good example to all citizens got to do with the protest over subsidy? Mumu incorporated.

NigeriaKwenu: I'm i the first person to call someone a bastardd on nairaland? or is because it was a mod that was affected?

What annoys me most about you guys is your hypocritical nature. You only act when it affects you
. I remember i once opened a thread requesting for a MOD who engaged in a show of shame to be banned but you guys pretended as if you did not see my thread.

Afam4eva
Its difficult to fault your argument here I've got to say. Sometimes, the hypocrisy stinks to the high heavens. Oops, forgot I was playing peacemaker!

Not sure under what circumstance he got banned but I believe his positives around here are much greater than his -ves and wish to also lend my voice in appealing that he be unbanned.

Unfortunately for the likes of Iweala, Sanusi, NMA and all these our village national newspapers, they never met an erudite home-schooled but inevitably Harvard-Certified charge and bail director like Voododoll to educate them on the proper use of the word "indict". Imagine how they've been fooling themselves and misleading folks like me. Thank goodness for NL at least we r being schooled. Who says GRANDMA's SCHOOLING isn't the best?

dedeike: I said it and I will continue to say it. FACROOK's REPORT IS THE BIGGEST FRAUD IN 2012. I'm so happy that we did not fall fot it.
When all these Northern oil cabal mobilised support for Farouk report, I began to sense their sinister motives. I also wondered why Tambuwal would abandon the house committee on petroleum to draft his kinsman from Education committe to head such a sensitive assignment.
When the report came out and the names of these northern oil sheiks were missing, I wasn't surprised. It was not long before the bribery scandal broke out and reinforced my earlier convictions that the whole Farouk panel was a sham.
I await to see what their paid agents would do about this new development. I patiently wait their useless defences of their paymasters. Kobojunkie, GBAWE & co over to you.
Those ones will stay far away from a thread like this, they'll only come to run their filthy mouths when something goes wrong like they always wish. Success and progress are to them what sunlight is to vampires!
Politics › Re: Fuel Subsidy Probe, Aig's Cmtee Indicts 50 Mktrs Exonerated By Farouk! by wesley80(op): 8:57pm On Jul 15, 2012
Beaf: Nobody cares about Farouks list. Merely mentioning Farouk is laughable in itself.

That "report" isn't even fit for use as toilet roll; right now its only purpose is to serve as a tool coerce the house into voting in constitutional changes to get the country on the right footing.
Precisely!
Politics › Re: Fuel Subsidy Probe, Aig's Cmtee Indicts 50 Mktrs Exonerated By Farouk! by wesley80(op): 8:49pm On Jul 15, 2012
How much more obvious do you guys want it to get before you finally see Farouks report is virtually worthless? The guy left out some fifty of the biggest marketers and tried to rope in an innocent man he felt was buoyant enough to afford his "fee" for crying out loud! If Aig could indict the likes of Oando, MRS and Raham-whatever, then I certainly do not think he's going to let SPG off the hook regardless of who's associated with it. its so far so good for Aig and so far no hope for Farouk - same for his report.
There is nothing wrong with your statement above, but to use bribery scandal as an excuse to exonerate all the 'thieves' listed in the report, including some with friends in high places, is worse than insanity.

Anyone who does not see the sense in submitting the names of ALL the parties listed in both reports to the EFCC or some other body for additional investigation and prosecution, should be stoned right alongside the thieves.
He's just someone that has to be put in the right place when he loses it - which he understandably does quite often considering what his day job requires. There's just no way that guy Farouk could've approached someone as close to the govt like Otedola and left out this other group of marketers. I just hope they can get him to sing and tell us those he shared his loot with, its obvious the man wasn't doing this just for himself.
