CIC just down my cousins application for insufficient fund. PGC in HRM, submitted Feb 7th online route. $6700 tuition paid, sponsor account 20m, personal acct, 700k...where do we go from here......?

Refusal after medical?? Ah not again but you shld have applied alone and later apply for your family separately.......I remember sm1 warned yu against applying for ur family at once on this thread sometime ago.....u may reapply soon but you have to consider applying for urself alone this time...all the best!!!

Hi NL, I picked up d refusal letter for me and my family today after medicals . We were refused based on just purpose of visit. I intend to re-fire as soon as possible and I need advice on how to tackle this refusal. Here's my profile: I intend going for PGD Project Management at U of winnipeg. I applied for study permit along with visitor's visa for my wife and kids, even though I stated that they were not accompanying me. I have a BSc. in pol science and MBA human resources and currently work in a bank for over 8 years now. Pls what does the VO likely mean by purpose of visit and please advice on how I can tackle this as I intend to re-fire (as e dey hot).

My cousins got refused simultaneously today on insufficient fund ground. Application submitted online Nov 8,2015 and Nov 20 2015 respectively. Sponsor is our uncle, acct bal is 15m. Pls what can they do at this point? Pls help gurus in the house

She applied online on Dec 20. She was a victim of refusal after medical passed in November. Pgd

Please has there been any refusal after medical lately..?? I'm asking because my lil sister was a victim of refusal after medical last December, now she has reapplied and CIC just update her medical to passed' she's really scared of not falling victim of another refusal cos all she expects now is passport request.

@justwise, thesoj and hayqxbf......you all are correct in your own aspect. Lots of people have benefitted in one way or the other from your posts. I believe the vo has their own views on this. Some applicants had used their sponsors assets as home ties and it worked for them while some got delayed but most importantly individual applicants needs to put up a strong, convincing application. I personally believe sponsors asset is not to prove the applicant's home ties rather it proves how financially buoyant the sponsor is. Also, for those using company's account for sponsorship, some vo believe the money in the coy account is solely for the coy bizness and not for personal purpose except if the applicant is a staff of the coy and the coy could prove they are sponsoring him for the coys benefits.
My thought though..... Over to the other gurus

Are you serious about the section in bold or just a mistake? How will your sponsor's assets/business act as your tie to Nigeria? Will you return back to Nigeria because your daddy has a land or a house? Are those source of income? Will your daddy or uncle sell his house, business or land just to send/keep you in Canada and left with nothing/homeless in Nigeria?

Please is there anyone who submitted since Nov 8, 2015 that hasn't receive any reply from CIC? My Jr sis application was submitted since Nov 8, 2015 since then we haven't receive any updates on her application. No medicals yet
