PoliticsFani-kayode Accuses US Government Of Aiding Boko Haram, Blasts Leahy by wexyee(op): 12:13am On Jul 26, 2015
The United States Senator, Patrick Leahy, yesterday came down heavily on
the Nigerian army for their alleged brutality in the handling of the Boko
Haram crisis rocking the country.
The US senator referred to some of them as rapists and murderers. But the
former director of media and publicity of Goodluck Jonathan’s national
campaign organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode, who now prefers to be called
Olufemi Olu-Kayode, has reacted to the comments by taking a swipe at the US
and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Fani-Kayode said the US government refuses to sell arms to the Nigerian
army because they are assisting the Boko Haram militants. He also accused
the US government of being slow in tagging Boko Haram as a terrorist group
till the group had caused soo much havoc in the land. Fani-Kayode took to his
social media handles to thrash both the US government and the ruling party,
the APC.
US Senator, Patrick Leahy
He said: “The U.S. government helped Boko Haram immensely by refusing to
classify them as a terrorist organisation until 2014 and by refusing to sell us
arms to fight them. Worst still, they imposed an international arms embargo
on us so that we could not buy arms from anyone else.
Why did the US not invoke the Leahy Act against Israel, Saudi Arabia,
Afghanistan, Turkey, Pakistan, Qatar, Somalia, Kenya, Yemen, Ukraine and Iraq
for human rights violations? Why is it only Nigeria that they have refused to
sell arms to and that they have imposed an international arms embargo on
even though we are fighting a civil war against a relentless and evil enemy?
U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy, the convener of the Leahy Act, has called our
Armed Forces “rapists and murderers”. He is nothing but scum- a typically
confused, ignorant, petty-minded and racist yankee.
Why blame Senator Leahy? He was only rehearsing what he heard from Liar
Muhammed. When APC wanted power, they threw caution into the winds. Now
it has come to hurt them.”
Femi Fani-Kayode,
Read Senator Leahy’s 23 July reaction below:
“It is well documented by the State Department and by respected human
rights organizations that Nigerian army personnel have, for many years,
engaged in a pattern and practice of gross violations of human rights against
the Nigerian people and others, including summary executions of prisoners,
indiscriminate attacks against civilians, torture, forced disappearances and
rape. Rarely have the perpetrators been prosecuted or punished.
“This abusive conduct not only violates the laws of war, it creates fear and
loathing among the Nigerian people whose support is necessary to defeat a
terrorist group like Boko Haram.
“I strongly agree with President Buhari about the need to defeat Boko Haram,
and I have supported tens of millions of dollars in U.S. aid to Nigeria for that
purpose. But rather than suggest that the United States is at fault for not
funding murderers and rapists in the Nigerian military, he should face up to
his own responsibility to effectively counter Boko Haram. He should direct his
attention to the Nigerian military, and the Nigerian courts, and clean up the
units implicated in such atrocities.”
“President Buhari ignores the undisputed fact that most Nigerian army units
have been approved, under the Leahy Law, for U.S. training and equipment.
Only those particular units against which there is credible evidence of the
most heinous crimes are ineligible for U.S. aid. And even those units can again
become eligible if the Nigerian Government takes effective steps to bring the
responsible individuals to justice.”
Meanwhile, Fani-Kayode has commended President Buhari’s stand on same-
sex marriage. Fani-Kayode said: “‘Sodomy is against our laws and abhorrent
to our culture’- President Muhammadu Buhari to the Americans. It took
courage to say this to them. Thanks be to God.”

YOU HAVE TO READ ALL TO UNDERSTAND IN FULL...
OK guys, lemme explain somethings to you.
1) Hausa people had tried an invasion of the SW before, it didn't end well for them, we may not be violent, but we are skilled at self defence. Its not just you guys against them.
2) Every Yoruba is bred with knowledge of the perpetual enmity with Hausa's, infact an average Yoruba thinks of them as idiots (ask why they are called Abokis in SW)
3) Every Yoruba knows that Igbos are less of enemies and more of competitors to us. But every Yoruba also thinks of Igbos as prone to being dubious and disloyal, especially when they are set to benefit from it.
4) Due to the aforementioned, Yorubas prefer sometimes to deal with Hausas (whose state of enmity with them is sure), than with Igbos, who may be their friends but who may betray their trust, something Yoruba people value a lot, and know at least they cannot give to Hausas.
5) Be sure that like Igbos, Yoruba people also have a cause for feud with Hausas, one dat even goes beyond the creation of Nigeria, the place called Ilorin. No true Yoruba does not know of the story of Ilorin, Aare Afonja and Alimi.
6) Yoruba people are generally the most welcoming in this country, you may dispute it, but I've been to most other regions in this country, save NE. Thus we welcome Hausas as much as we welcome Igbos, Idomas, Efiks, Igalas, Tivs, etc. You are all welcomed in our Lands ( we don't like that no mans land talk).
7) Due to Pre-colonial trading, a lot of lingual similarities have occured between Hausas and Yorubas, thus in modern life, it may tell why Yorubas seem to understand Hausas and their Language/Culture faster and better than Igbos and their language/Culture. Its not for animosity.
cool This is subject to dispute, but an average Yoruba person, like Artisans and Traders and co, is highly interested in politics and governance, but doesn't really give a damn about either the Unity or Seperation of Nigeria, although when asked most would reply that "we are better off on our own".
9) The above Stated reason is why not too many Yoruba people go out of the SW for residence and those that do so are considered doing it at their own risk.
10) Yorubas are benefiting the most from the fracas between Hausas and Igbos, as they are able to make both bring their resources meant for other parts of the country to the SW, due to their non-partisan accommodation. Why do u think SW is the least poor region in the country, and having the highest per capita standard of living (fact from Nigerian Bureau of Statistics)
i pity you... you insult Hausa.. hipe igbo.. just to make nL Ibo's to like you... look at there comment now........ see ur life.... well my babe Na Yoruba so.. i no go insult... peace undecided

PoliticsThree Facts That Prove Buhari’s Anti-corruption War Is ALREADY Paying Off by wexyee(op): 11:54pm On Jul 25, 2015
There is evidence that President Muhammadu Buhari, who vowed to eradicate
corruption in Nigeria, is gradually succeeding as his anti-graft war.
The problem of funds embezzlement was one of the major focuses of Buhari’s
presidential election campaign. The then APC presidential candidate vowed to
put an end to public funds stealing. After taking over power, Buhari on
numerous occasions reiterated commitment to his ideas.
The adopted policy appears to be working, Vanguard proves with reference to
the CBN governor.
1. Foreign reserves hit $31.5bn following blockage of leakages
Nigeria’s foreign reserves have increased from $28.57 billion at the end of
May to $31.53 billion as of July 22, 2015.
This was officially disclosed on July 24 by the governor of the Central Bank of
Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, who spoke at the press conference in Abuja.
The official explained that the substantial increase occurred as a result of
blockage of leakages and effective bank management policies. “It is true that Mr President, based on his insistence that leakages must be
blocked, there have been serious attempts to block leakages both in Naira and
in Dollars. Some funds have been trapped in banks and that is the reason
there is a vigorous effort to ensure that we all embrace the Single Treasury
Account where all revenues collected must come to the centre and after all the
revenues have come to the centre, then based on the budget that has been
approved for any agency of government, whatever is due to them to meet their
operational expenses would be given.
“But first point is that all revenues must come to the centre. In the course of
these, yes, I can confirm that there were leakages that have been blocked and
as a result we have seen some funds trapped in some areas now coming into
the centre and that is part of the reason you see the reserves build up.”
2. Refineries in Port Harcourt and Warri resume operations, Kaduna refinery
begins functioning in August
Emefiele reveled this adding that one of the current objectives is to reduce fuel
importation. He provided that already next month the amount of locally refined
products might reach 20m litres.
“Let me confirm that the CBN and the NNPC have held a couple of meetings
and I am aware that Port Harcourt and Warri have started refining petroleum
products. We are expecting that in the month of August, Kaduna refinery will
begin refining petroleum products. “Hopefully, as they ramp up production, they would be able to get to about 19
to 20 million litres that they can produce to meet our daily consumption level
of about 30 million litres. Our interest as CBN is that by this act alone we are
going to record a drastic reduction in the importation of petroleum products
which will ultimately help our reserve position and help us in our mandate of
strengthening the exchange rate.”
3. CBN remains firm on monetary policies
The governor said that the CBN had preserved the Monetary Policy Rate at
13% and the Cash Reserve Ratio – at 31%.
He insisted that the monetary policy would remain tight because of the high
liquidity in the system. www.naij.com/498551-three-facts-proving-buharis-anti-corruption-war-already-paying-off.html

Clitoris777:
The Nigerian government has hired many technology consultants to help wage war against Biafra by first putting in place a media black-out in the South East.

TuneIn has been paid a lot of money to stop hosting RadioBiafra. Plans are on to pay Apple and its competitors to follow suit.

The Nigerian Government has paid BBC and plans to use SKY and CNN to tarnish the image of Biafra. The next plan is the link Radio Biafra (and Nnamdi Kanu) with Boko Haram.

There are also plans to shut down internet in the South East and deteriorate mobile coverage in the area.

During the media shut-down, thousands of Boko Haram terrorists will flood the South East and wreck havoc, just like the Rwandan Genocide. Then it will be too late. The world will not know what is happening because of the media black out.

Biafra wake up.
. This sum it up. Ibos re delusional! An ibo man is a propaganda machine

Since buhari has seen we are serious about having our own country,if he's reasonable he should set up a committee to negotiate the peaceful dissolution of Nigeria, If it's oil, they can take the damn oil and gas in Enugu, Aba, Imo, Anambra,Ebonyi etc. DO YOU KNOW THAT WE HAVE OIL, GAS AND COAL IN THESE STATES BUT THEY CHANNEL OIL PIPELINES FROM THOSE STATES TO NIGER DELTA SO AS TO CREATE ENEMITY BETWEEN IGBOS AND NIGER DELTANS AND MAKE NIGER DELTANS THINK WE WANT THEIR OIL. MOST OF THE SO CALLED OIL PEOPLE THINK COMES FROM NIGER DELTA ACTUALLY COME FROM IGBO LAND.
We don't need the damn thing to survive, we just want to be free. Mehn Nnamdi kanu ain't joking, he has weapons and powerful bombs and war planes stalked away somewhere, i've seen things myself. Nigeria didn't defeat us in 1967, the whole world did. They should know that the world is advanced. 1967 aint 2015. Buhari and these so-called leaders should know they can't run cos they and their children, grand-children and great grand-children will be killed anywhere they run to in this world. IPOB is everywhere. Buhari said Nnamdi kanu lied? Did buhari not say he'll islamise everybody in Nigeria? Is buhari not a rapist? Is he not the sponsor of bokoharam? PoliticsRe: US: We’ll Compel Nigeria To Accept Same-sex Marriage by wexyee: 11:55pm On Jul 15, 2015
HungerBAD:
The first time i saw two men kissing was in London, specifically at the St James's Park on a cool summer day many years ago. I still remember the shock and revulsion i felt.

I stood transfixed, staring at them for about 5 Minutes and was just turning my head around like AM I THE ONLY ONE SEEING this, and then it hit me, i was no longer in Africa and even if i had been living in the US, i was yet to see two men kiss. It was a cultural shock for me to see two men make out.

I hated gays.

Then one day in Church, at a bible study. Somebody asked the pastor that if the Church preaches a lot of things about repentance and acceptance, why then do they still find it hard to accept gays?the pastor's reply was an eye opener.

And then it hit me. Why do i exactly hate gays?they don't bother me, they sleep with each other, they marry each other, they pay their own bills,i don't even know them.

As i grow older, i have learned to be very tolerant of others. I have also learned to mind my business with how others handle their lives, that is why i do not judge married women/men when they cheat in their marriages, i am not in their marriage so don't know what lead to the infidelity.

While i do have my personal reservation about the gay thing, i have come to accept the fact that my feelings will not stop people from being gays, or stop them from loving each other. i have also come to accept the fact that no matter what, there will be others that will have sexual orientation that is different from mine.

In Nigeria, there have been instances where men have been caught making love to goats and chickens. Nairaland even carried some of those pictures.

So what am i saying?people should let other people live their lives the way they deem it fit. what you cannot correct, leave alone.

***Modified***

So i wrote this on the last page, but feel i should add it here too.

Did not know my harmless comments will ignite a firestorm, literally.

No i am not gay, neither am i advocating for gay rights.

So, i took the time to read all the comments here, plus the insults and all, and i find them to be very entertaining.

I am also very appreciative of the mature replies by some, even if they disagree with my views. We all cannot have the same views about things in life, and for the fact that you don't see things my way,or i your way , does not necessarily need for it to get to name callings, insults and the rest.

I have a right to my views. I am a grown man,and my views is with the school of thought that the GAY people should be left alone. If they are not bothering you, they are not a threat to your being, did not steal from you, did not come to you for any kind of relationship, do not have any contact with you in any way.

THEN LEAVE THEM ALONE.

My last page on this topic.
