The National and State Legislative House Election Tribunal, sitting in Lokoja, Kogi State, on Thursday dismissed the petition of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Smart Adeyemi, against the election victory of his All Progressives Congress (APC) opponent, Senator Dino Melaye. The National Independent Electoral Commission had declared Melaye the winner of the March 28, 2015 Senatorial election and Adeyemi had approached the tribunal to challenge the election outcome. The Chairman of the three-member tribunal panel, Justice Akon Ikpeme, in a ruling on Thursday, on a motion filed by Melaye’s counsel, Mr. Rickey Tarfa (SAN), held that the petition was incompetent and abandoned. According to the chairman, the petitioner ran foul of the Electoral Act in filing their reply to the 1st respondent’s response out of time, saying that they were served on 13th May and could only file their reply on May 18. Ikpeme also held that for failing to apply for Form TF001 for pre-hearing session within the stipulated seven days, the tribunal was of the view that the petitioner had failed to apply for the issuance of the form. She stated that pursuant of other issues relating to the petition could only amount to “mere academic exercise.” She therefore dismissed the petition for incompetence and abandonment on the part of the petitioners. President Muhammadu Buhari has said his government is pledging a $100 million fund to support the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) to be created in July to crush Boko Haram completely. The President said this yesterday, during a Summit of Heads of State & Government of Lake Chad Basin Commission in Abuja. In his address, he said; “Permit me, at this juncture, to recall that Nigeria has already pledged the sum of one hundred million ($100,000,000) USD for the smooth take off of the MNJTF. I hereby reassure you that my government will keep faith with this promise. Buhari had, in his first week in office consulted with Heads of Government of neighbouring country such as Niger and Chad and Niger to map out the Boko Haram terror group operating along the countries territorial borders. At the Summit, the various head of state finalize on the creation of a Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) to further maintain the momentum in degrading the capacity of the insurgents until they are completely defeated. “Our meeting today is premised on the common resolve and commitment of Member States of the LCBC & Benin to maintain the momentum in degrading the capacity of the insurgents until they are completely defeated. It is also borne out of the urgency to mitigate the suffering that has been imposed on our civilian population by the nefarious activities of the insurgents and terrorists. “Our meeting today provides us an excellent opportunity to finalize the instruments for the operations of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), in order to give life to our joint military campaign to decisively defeat the insurgents. Strengthening Regional Intelligence President Buhari also said the campaign against insurgency must be directed on all fronts, starting from limiting their capacity to access funds and weapons and Improving regional intelligence and information. “Our campaign against insurgency must therefore, be directed on all fronts, starting from limiting their capacity to access funds and weapons. We must, therefore, strengthen our cross border patrols and increase our capacity to gather and share intelligence. In this regard, I urge that all necessary steps be immediately taken to reinvigorate the Regional Intelligence Fusion Unit (RIFU). Buhari Said. Buhari Reject Rotational Force Commander Role President Buhari, however, reject proposal to a the role of the Force Commander of the MNJTF being rotated among neighbouring countries. Stressing that since Nigeria will be providing the bulk of the troops and the main theatre of the war is on Nigerian soil, it is therefore logical to have that Nigeria retains the position of the Force Commander of the MNJTF for the period of the war effort instead of the six month rotational Period. In his words, “While I agree that this is a joint operation with shared responsibilities, I am, however, of the opinion that military operations that are subjected to a rapid turnover of command and control structures, six months duration, as it is being proposed in the documents before us, do not augur well for effectiveness and efficiency. Such a process will undermine, even if it is not intended, the military capacity to sustain the push against the insurgents, who also have the uncanny ability to adapt and rejig their operational strategies. “I am inclined, on account of the above, to suggest for Your Excellencies consideration that Nigeria retains the position of the Force Commander of the MNJTF for the period of the war effort. This command will be to the effectiveness of military strategy, since Nigeria will be providing the bulk of the troops and the main theatre of the war is on Nigerian soil. President Buhari said. In attendance were - Issoufou Mahamadu, President of the Republic of Niger, Idriss Deby Itno, President of the Republic of Chad. Boni Yayi, President of the Republic of Benin, Paul Biya, President of the Republic of Cameroun, Represented by Mebe Ngo’o Edgard Alain, Minister of Defence, Republic of Cameroun, The Honourable Ministers of Defence of Niger, Chad, Benin, The Executive Secretary of the Lake Chad Basin Commission & Benin Engr Sanusi Imran Abdullahi. Senator Bukola Saraki has emerged as the Senate President. He was elected unopposed following a deal he entered into with the Peoples Democratic Party Senators. Under the arrangement, former Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, is to be returned to the same office. Saraki was nominated for the office by Senator Ahmed Sani Yerima, former Zamfara State governor. Both Saraki and Yerima are of the All Progressives Congress. Sensing defeat, the other APC Senators had declined to nominated Senator Ahmed Lawan, the official candidate of the party for Senate President. As exclusively reported by WESTERN POST on Monday, Saraki’s election was a replay of what happened on the floor of the same during the country’s renascent democracy when Senator Evans Enwerem was elected on the strength of the votes of the then Alliance for Democracy (AD) Senators as opposed to Senator Chuba Okadigbo, the official candidate of the PDP. There has been a raging controversy in the APC over the candidacy of Senator Saraki who defied the party’s order to Support Senator Lawan. There appears to be a big crack in the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the Yakubu Dogara group in the House of Representatives has lashed out at the leadership of the party, strongly condemning the mock election of the House of representatives which Femi Gbajabiamila won. In a statement by the group signed by Abdulmumin Jibrin, it lamented that “The APC leadership keeps telling the public that an election was conducted and Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila got 154 votes while Hon. Yakubu Dogara got 3 votes; this is a blatant lie and fraud, and it’s shameful for the APC leaders to descend so low. The group said the mock election was a sham, “The mock election actually showed that APC has made a mockery of itself because we walked out of the venue even before they perpetrated the illegality. Hon. Dogara was not in the hall as at the time they said he was nominated but the APC leaders planted someone who impersonated one of us and another person was also planted and he accepted the nomination. This is fraudulent, shameful and dishonest. It was all arranged and done by APC leaders. The group said it never participated in the election and rejects the election because it was not in tandem with the spirit and letters of the constitution. “The stability of the House is very important and the House needs to be left alone to elect its speaker. We will never allow the number four citizen of this country to be pocketed by one selfish and greedy individual. “We want a courageous speaker who is free from the apron strings of a godfather and not one that will create special bedroom in the pocket of an individual. “After such huge intimidation, blackmail and inducement we are not surprised that they gave out such a number. On Tuesday, the real picture of the strength of our candidate – Hon. Yakubu Dogara – will emerge. “We are shocked and surprised that barely two weeks after taking over as the ruling party, is this the change we want to offer to Nigerians? Is this the departure from the past that Nigerians want? We have never seen this kind of manipulation in the political history of Nigeria. We are being intimidated and threatened because we toe the path of honour. “We decided to follow our conscience and do the right thing for our country and we will not let this country down. However, the Yakubu Dogara faction which promise to unveil Dogara’s legislative agenda today by 8pm said its members will go ahead and vote against Femi Gbajabiamila. “Despite the mockery of an election by the APC we are going ahead on the 9th June 2015 to nominate Hon. Yakubu Dogara on the floor of the House as Speaker. “They don’t understand the dynamics of an election of House leadership; this is the House of the Nigerian people, we are going ahead to nominate our aspirant who has what it takes to lead us. Dogara is stainless, and he comes with integrity similar to that of President Muhammadu Buhari. “Due to the huge amount of threat and intimidation to some of us, we have decided to write a petition to the President of the Federal Republic to intervene and call the party leaders to order. We are very confident that the President will look at the matter in a very just manner. Source: http://westernpostnigeria.com/cracks-in-apc-as-factions-emerge-over-house-speakership/ |
The Nigerian military has moved its command centre to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital. This, according to a press statement released by the Nigerian Army, is in line with President Muhammadu Buhari’s directive that the military high command be relocated to Borno State, the hotbed of the Boko Haram insurgency. President Buhari had, during his inauguration on May 29, said the command centre of the military would be relocated to Maiduguri and remain there until Boko Haram is completely subdued. The establishment of the command centre for ‘Operation Zaman Lafiya’ was contained in a press statement signed by the Acting Director Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, and made available to press men. “In compliance with Presidential pronouncement and the Chief of Army Staff’s directive, a reconnaissance and advance team for the establishment of Military Command and Control Centre (MCCC) for Operation Zaman Lafiya for the fight against terrorism and insurgency has moved to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital. “The team, which is led by a Two -Star General, has already commenced work in earnest and it is comprised of elements of the officer of the Chief of Army Staff, all the relevant Army Headquarters Departments and other combat support components. The centre will serve as a forward command base for the Chief of Army Staff and other service chiefs. The authorities of the Nigerian Army said arrangement had been made for all Service Chiefs to move into Maiduguri tomorrow (Tuesday). “The centre is essentially an elaboration of an already existing Army Headquarters Command and Control arrangement. From now on, the fight against terrorism and insurgency would be monitored, coordinated and controlled from this centre. “I wish to inform you also that its establishment would not create another layer of Command structure but would add impetus and renewed vigour to Operation Zaman Lafiya, all aimed at bringing terrorism and insurgency to an end. “However, an alternate command centre is also being established in Yola, the Adamawa state capital of the North east”. The kidneys are bean-shaped organs that serve several essential regulatory roles in vertebrates. They remove excess organic molecules from the blood, and it is by this action that their best-known function is performed the removal of waste products of metabolism. Sometimes ago, we all discovered that the dismissal of a Nigerian actor was as a result of kidney disease. In this article, you will find the major causes of Kidney problem. DELAY GOING TO TOILET: Keeping your urine in your bladder for too long is a very bad idea. A full bladder can cause bladder damage. The urine that stays in the bladder multiplies bacteria quickly. Once the urine refluxes back to the ureter and kidneys, the toxic substances can result into kidney infections, then urinary tract infections, and then nephritis, and even uremia. When nature calls, do it as soon as possible. EATING TOO MUCH SALT: You should eat not more than 5.8grams of salt daily EATING TOO MUCH MEAT: Too much protein in your diet is harmful to your kidney. Protein digestion produces ammonia – a toxin that is very destructive to your kidneys. More meat equals more kidney damage. DRINKING TOO MUCH CAFFEINE: Caffeine is a component of many sodas and soft drinks. It raises your blood pressure and your kidneys start suffering. So you should reduce the soft drink intake. NOT DRINKING WATER: our kidneys should be hydrated properly to perform their functions well. If we don’t drink enough, the toxins can start accumulating in the blood, as there isn’t enough fluid to drain them through the kidneys. Drink more than 10 glasses of water daily. There is an easy way to check if you are drinking enough water: look at the color of your urine; the lighter the color, the better. LATE TREATMENT: treat all your health problems properly and quickly, not neglecting regular checkup. Let’s help ourselves. Source:http://westernpostnigeria.com/6-major-causes-of-kidney-problem/ |

Buhari , Jonathan Fought for Me, Says New AFDB President Adesina By Kolawole Olayinka, Abeokuta Dr Akinwunmi Adesina, the newly-elected President of the African Development Bank (AFDB) on Monday said President Muhammadu Buhari played a key role in his emergence as the president of the development bank. Adesina said this in Abeokuta during a courtesy visit to the Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun in his office. The former Minister of Agriculture noted that the president made several calls to the World leaders to ensure that he won the election. Adesina said: “I want to appreciate the support of the President, Muhammadu Buhari, and the former president, Goodluck Jonathan, for their support during the AFDB elections. “Our leaders rallied round us in an apparent show of support: former presidents Olusegun Obasanjo, Abdulsalam Abubakar and Yakubu Gowon put a lot of their support behind me. “I like to commend the former Minister of Finance, Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, for her role because she led our team to the elections. It was an election we had to convince 74 Ministers of Finance from across the world. “The election went into six rounds of voting and Nigeria led every single round of that vote. I want to confirm that the election was a truly a Nigerian collective effort.” He assured that as president of the AFDB, poverty would end in Nigeria and there would be opportunities for all and sundry. “We will work very hard to develop programmes that will end poverty in our country, create opportunities for sheer prosperity all across our countries”. He also submitted that he would ensure that rural economy was revived and would also encourage regional integration. Earlier, Amosun had commended President Buhari, former president Jonathan and the international community for their support for Adesina during the AFDB elections. He said it was not only a personal success to Adesina but also to Nigeria as a country. Amosun said the emergence of Adesina as the head of the bank was another of many feats of Ogun indigenes where he hails from. The governor expressed confidence in Adesina as a seasoned agricultural economist to bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new position. By Ibidapo Balogun Even as the choice of who will become Senate President and Speaker of House of Representatives tears the All Progressives Congress apart, President-elect Muhammadu Buhari has restated his willingness to work with any leader of the National Assembly that the process throws up. He says he has no preferred candidate and is ready to work with any Senate President or Speaker irrespective of what part of the country he or she originates from. The battle for the Senate President has pitted Senator Ahmed Lawan from Yobe against Senator Bukola Saraki from Kwara. On Wednesday, Senator Barnabbas Gemade said about 40 APC Senators have lined behind Lawan. That group of Senators is also backing Senator George Akume for Deputy Senate President. A day before then, those in Saraki’s group including Senators Abdullahi Adamu, Danjuma Goje and Dino Melaye claimed 35 APC senators were behind them. Analysts fear the 45 Peoples Democratic Party Senators led by Senate President David Mark may hold the ace in determining who becomes the next Senate President. But in a statement in Abuja on Wednesday, Buhari said: “I am prepared to work with any leaders that the House or Senate selects.” He said the statement had become necessary in view of the continued name-dropping in some circles linking his name to some candidates. Buhari had earlier taken the same position in a statement two weeks ago. “It doesn’t matter who the person is or where he or she is from. There is due process for the selection of leaders of the National Assembly,” the President-elect said, adding, “And I will not interfere in that process.” Buhari added that the media and the public should begin to get used to no more “business as usual. “Nigeria has indeed entered a new dispensation.” “My administration does not intend to repeat the same mistakes made by previous governments.” Source: http://westernpostnigeria.com/as-senate-presidency-tears-apc-apart-buhari-insists-he-has-no-choice-candidate/ |
By Anthony A. Kila What do you think is the main problem facing Nigeria? Yes, you are not the only that think so. Go to any part of Nigeria or meet any group of Nigerians even outside their country and ask the people you meet what they think are the main problems facing their country. I have done it and I can assure you that for an overwhelming majority of Nigerians and indeed even non-Nigerians studying or dealing with Nigeria “corruption” is at the very top of their list. Alas, I do not belong to this overwhelming majority; in my splendid isolation I am convinced that our main problem is not corruption but competence. That is however a topic for another day. Please watch this space. The idea of corruption being the biggest problem of the country is so accepted that people don’t even examine it anymore. We sort of just know it is there and we all sort of just understand it and we think about it only when it directly affects us like when we are asked for or about to be asked for a bribe or when we see someone get an unmerited privilege. A bit like the clouds in the sky we all talk about before and after the rain. Let’s face it, by virtue of the privileges they enjoy, holders of public offices maybe immune to the reality of the average citizens; after all they rarely pay for the petrol in their cars or the diesel in their generators and they rarely endure the traffic most Nigerians face. They don’t even really painstakingly save for their house rents or for the deposit for a mortgage. Nor do they feel the pain of decline in our educational system since most of them send their children to private schools or even abroad. These same office holders were however not born in public offices. They were politicians and even ordinary citizens before they became public office holders and as such they should have a memory and a taste of the evil of corruption and other tribulations in the country. Let me assure you that they have the taste and memory of everything bad with Nigeria. The question then is why are they not passing laws and regulations aimed at solving these problems? The simple short answer is that they cannot solve these problems. They cannot solve these problems because without these problems they will not exist the way they do today. In every democratic country in the world, it is strictly prohibited for anyone running for office to give out gift, money or promise any kind of favor to voters, be these citizens or delegates. The ideas behind such prohibition are mainly that voters should be convinced not bought and that if buying is allowed then only the rich will be able to buy. To that list add the fear of the ambitious poor politician resorting to steal in order to buy or pay for bought votes. A simple law that says anybody caught attempting to buy votes either through gift, money or promise any kind of favor will be jailed will solve a lot of problems but which of these politicians will propose such law and worse still how many fellow legislators or governor will support him or her? Voters and even politicians themselves live with the tangible fear of elections being rigged against their side. A simple law that states that anyone caught rigging any kind of election will be sent to jail and barred from holding public office for say twenty years will rid us of many intruders. Yet, which of these politicians do you think will propose such law? When it comes to elections the cleanest elected politician in the Nigeria of today is a leper. In their sober moments, a lot of politicians have lamented about the pressures of party demands, godfatherism, and have justified their nimbleness in switching parties or joining and running on platforms of parties on which they have more than a few reservations by saying there is lack of internal democracy in their former party and that there is no real ideological differences between the parties. In their very sober moment they also justify their communion with strange bedfellows by saying they need a structure to run on. Voters in turn just tend to vote for the lesser evil. Things do not need to be this way. All we need is a law that allows and even enable independent candidacy. Which legislator or governor will promote such law without incurring the wrath of his or her own party? In this list as you might have noticed I have not included a law against looting of public funds, abusing of public powers. Do our public office holders really need to block public roads when travelling? Do they really need to make those that voted them into power and on whose behalf they claim to act wait whilst they pass with their convoy? I have heard a lot of rubbish about security, their security alas, we hear too little about citizen’s security. If politicians do not feel safe amongst their own people then let them privately and quietly protect themselves. Let them pray as they ask the people to do. If that is not enough then let go out in disguise. It is not difficult to pass and enforce a law that says only ambulances, not even hearses, should be allowed to use sirens. Who would promote such law though? Who will support such law in parliament? These are very simple things that can easily be done if we have the right people where it matters. To progress, this country needs statesmen (and women) with principles and ideas; we need people that can live for politics but not of politics. Who can you see on the scene that fits the bill? Press statement from CEO of Capital Oil & Gas Ltd., Ifeanyi Ubah, on the ongoing fuel scarcity and the solution he’d devised. On Saturday 16th May 2015, we received an SMS ordering the suspension of loading activities in all depots from Monday 18th May 2015. We later realized that this directive was as a result of unpaid funds owed to transporters by oil marketers who in turn are owed by the Federal Government. This development has resulted in immense hardship to our fellow country men and women. We believe that a better solution can be pursued towards solving this problem in a way that does not adversely affect our dear citizens. Capital Oil and Gas has watched with so much pain, the suffering and hardship our citizens have been subjected to as a result of scarcity of petrol, diesel, aviation fuel and house hold kerosene. We are deeply pained to hear that hospitals cannot perform surgeries, laboratories are unable to carry out much needed tests especially for emergency patients leaving such patients at risk of dying, radio stations are shutting down, communication is being affected as MTN and other telecommunications company have announced an impending shut down while homes, offices and key facilities nationwide are experiencing blackouts. In some parts of the country, petrol is already selling at an all-time high of N1,000 per litre. Our citizens have left their homes and are now sleeping in fuel stations, facing the risk of robbery attacks and other attendant risk. In a few days’ time, a new government headed by General Muhamadu Buhari will be sworn in. Apart from our citizens being unable to watch the handover on television and unavailability of transportation for attendees of this historic handover, the resulting chaos from this scarcity may shutdown the Nation and sabotage the efforts Nigeria has made to attain greater heights. We are constrained at this point and have decided that two wrongs cannot make a right. We will not be part of this sabotage against our fatherland. Therefore from this minute, we shall take the risk of opening our facilities and commence swift loading and distribution of products Nationwide. Our facility has the capacity to load over 13 million litres of product before dawn. This comes to approximately 400 trucks of petroleum products. With this act, it is our belief that once again our citizens will begin to smile, return to normal family and work life. We call on other petroleum marketers to follow suit and save our Nation from this impending economic and social crisis. This is a period that requires patriotism and service to fatherland. Let’s join hands to help our fellow citizens and save Nigeria. We also call on striking bodies to call off the strike action. Let us work together for the betterment of our people. As we brief you this moment, our truck park, port reception facilities and our depot complex have been ordered opened. We are ordering and resuming discharge of products from vessels at our berths. We have ordered our trucks to commence loading of products and move overnight to every state of the Federation. Most importantly, we wish to use this medium to thank NNPC and PPMC for their steadfastness in ensuring the availability of petroleum products. Current PPMC stock level in our storage tanks and buffer stock on vessels awaiting discharge at our jetty is capable of meeting the Nation’s need for 15 days. Furthermore, we wish to emphasis that we have a total solution to the traffic menace on the oshodi apapa expressway. In the coming weeks, we hope to engage the Federal Government (Federal Ministry of Transport), Lagos State Government and other stakeholders in the affected area, to optimally utilize our truck park facilities which has the capacity to accommodate over 1,100 trucks per time and 5,000 on a shift basis. Capital Oil and Gas continues to appeal to Nigerians to accept and support deregulation as this will curb corruption, enhance competition, lead to reduction of pump price for petroleum products and ensure constant supply to meet Nigeria’s demand. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria Source: http://westernpostnigeria.com/?p=17501 |
More resignations seem underway in the Peoples Democratic Party following the stepping down of the party’s National Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu. The Chairman of the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT), Chief Tony Anenih, has now stepped down from his position as well. WESTERN POST learnt that Anenih cited the current state of affairs in the party as his reason for resignation in his one-page letter which he signed and sent to President Goodluck Jonathan. It was dated May 20, 2015 and entitled: “Notice of my decision to step down as Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party”. Anenih said his decision would enable President Jonathan to effectively assume the chairmanship of the BoT. President Jonathan is at present reluctant to step in as BoT chair, saying he wanted to lie low for at least one year, but he has been advised to grab it. According to sources, the president was told the position would come handy as a platform to launch a response when All Progressives Congress regime of Muhammadu Buhari begins to attack him. Anenih’s letter read in part: “Your Excellency will recall that in a conversation I had with you a few weeks ago, I had offered to step down from the office of the Chairman of our party’s Board of Trustees and proposed to hand over to you as its new Chairman in a ceremony that would have taken place on the 23rd of May, 2015. He further said: “As a follow up to the above proposal and in view of the current state of affairs in our party, I have decided to formally put my offer in writing to enable you effectively assume the Chairmanship of Board of Trustees or approve a process that will enable any other member of the BoT, who is considered competent, to assume the position. “Kindly accept therefore, this letter as notice of my decision to step down from the position of Chairman of the BoT of our party with effect from today, the 20th of May, 2015. “I am happy to inform you that, I remain a loyal foundation member of our great party and will continue to pray for the prosperity of Nigeria, our party, and for you and your family,” Anenih said. One of the leading contenders for the position of the Speaker of the House of Representatives in the soon-to-be inaugurated 8th Assembly, Femi Gbajabiamila, has denied the involvement of a national leader of the All Progressives Congress, (PDP) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in his ambition. The statement was made on Wednesday, 20, 5 2015, while addressing members-elect of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja, by Mr Gbabiamila, who is the current Minority Leader in the House. He said, “I intend to be speaker not for anybody. Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu has no hand in it. Lamido Sanusi left his palace in Kano and pleaded with him to support me. He didn’t get a clear answer. Shortly after that, Senator Lawan Shuaibu went to Tinubu on the same issue. He still did not respond until when few weeks ago Nasir El-Rufai went to meet him, then he said maybe this man has some appeal,”. “In 2011, some members from the North went to him to suggest that I should be Tambuwal’s deputy, but he said no to that,” Mr. Gbajiamila added. Dr. Mrs Ngozi Okonjo Iweala Dr. Mrs Ngozi Okonjo Iweala The Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has said it’s strange for the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF) to allege that $20 billion has gone missing from the Excess Crude Account (ECA). The governors, in a communique issued on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, had demanded that Okonjo-Iweala explain how the funds were spent. The minister, however, said the NGF had no basis to demand the information from her. Okonjo-Iweala’s response is contained in a statement released by her spokesperson, Paul Nwabuikwu. It reads: “The statement by the governors is totally strange because Federal Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) meets every month and the ECA is discussed at every session with all the state commissioners of finance present.” READ FULL STORY: http://westernpostnigeria.com/okonjo-tells-governors-who-to-meet-for-information-on-missing-20bn/ |
