Hi out of curiosity as i am currently at this stahe Was your visa granted?

Good evening my nairaland family, please I need advice on visa application for my mom on visiting visa.
1)" I just concluded my msc and my graduation is July 28th I would want my mom to use the opportunity to get a uk visa, she's a single mom as my dad has passed and she does business(food) although she makes good money enough to cover her trip and proof of funds but most lodgment is cash and the business not CAC certified and sometimes she doesn't even pay to her account especially when shes try to say ny little hro school fees. Also she gets rent from her properties. I know I can attach my invite letter and certificates of completion to her application but the properties are in my name" so what's the best way to show the VO that she's has ties back home.

2)Also my younger brother who's 19 years still goes to a private uni enough to show ties?

3)PS, my wife just applied to switch to work visa we haven't gotten decision yet would this hinder hers?.....

It is what it is but it will pass soon. Now you will understand why oyibo no dey born too much pickin unless of course they are on benefits.

Do you have a partner? If yes, one of you has to stay home and look after your son or you can both work alternate shifts so there’s always someone at home. If you are by yourself, then you just have to pay the nursery fees and get on with it. You could also try bringing a relative from Nigeria but that itself is fraught with problems.

Whatever you do, please do not leave your young son by himself. I know some Africans do this but it is very dangerous and could land you in big trouble with the police and social services.

I have an Enquiry please, i had a refusal in July and I appealed, the appeal was refused in September, when filling my UK application, am I to say have been refused once and explain and should I use the latest date of refusal?

I have some questions about Uk visas

1, I would love to know if as a married man my parent can be my sponsor for my study visa

2, I'm planning on getting married before i start my visa application but am not sure if i would be able to get a date for the registry before the application. I would love to know if i can get married after getting my visa and would my wife still be able to apply for dependent visa.

Would appreciate if someone can help with this as it is urgent.

How many working days does it take to receive collection mail after decision mail?? Received decision mail on 21st tracked it and its showing "sent to DMC" is this normal ?

From my time here on Nairaland, the answer to this question is "its not possible" only her parents or legal guardian can can give her an account statement , else the money must be in her account for that duration of time(28days)

Guys please I need your opinion. So my sister in law is also planning to travel to the UK in January. She hasn’t paid her deposit yet but she said she has started counting her 28days. She also said the school agreed to give her CAS regardless of tuition fee. I have started counting my own 28days and my closing date is 22th of January. Now she said she wants to use my statement of account to send to her own school and she would tell the school she kept the money in my account: please is this even safe? I dont want anything to jeopardize my chances of getting visa. Do people do this and get away with it? Like use someone else’s statement of acct as proof of funds?

This is very crazy and unfair, is there no way to escalate this?? What if school resumes whose fault would it be for students late resumption??

Now this is my testimony, I started pursing my desire to educate myself in a foreign country in 2018, applied to the US three times but was rejected, applied to Canada for a visiting visa but was also rejected. At a point i was so depressed and almost gave us, but i had a dream, i saw my self and three other friends of mine in the Uk on a plane, i knew it was God pointing me the United Kingdom, so i applied to different schools, some rejected me because of my immigration history but one did not, so i applied to join the march 2020 batch corona came and my intake was suspended. But i still did not give up, I deferred to September, September came i was uncertain about the pandemic because i did not want to waste money, i had earlier done a tb test which had expired, so i told me self to look to November, as God may have it i applied and got my visa, i give glory to God, only he alone can do it, and i pray that for you all still believing God for your visas you will get yours IJN Amen, thank you to all our elders on this forum for your assistance I really appreciate.
