when I was in secondary sch many years ago, I had this class mate who used to bring Bible to sch on days we have CRS. On several occasions when I see him place other books on top the bible I used to place them the other way. This I did and will still do because it has been put in me to value anything from God over and above others. It doesn't matter whether I believe in it or not. TOLERANCE is our problem

I condemn mob action that has led to the death of the lady and commiserate with her family like most on this thread. I won't also shy away from speaking against her or any one who knows the sacredness muslims hold Allah, The Prophet (SAW) and the The Quran all over the world, yet year in year out continue to push this needless provocation. In as much as muslims should be admonished on the need to respect the law of the land, non muslims too should avoid such provocations. As we know no one who respects his/her father will insult another man's.

Coming to to a forum as this to ask for suggestions on building plan will only get u all the more confused cos u will get so many for which many will be ok and others wrong. What u need is just to get a professional Architect explain what ur preferences are and u won't be disappointed. The cost will be far less than what u will get if u build on a wrong design and start remodelling

I had always wondered why we are so tick skinned and subservient to any kind of illtreatment in this part of the word. I have never seen where consumer right and protection is zero like we have over here. Worst still when foreign companies who lord it on us in various aspects are involved. Multichoice has been the sole provider of satelite television in Nigeria for decades now yet their services are nothing to write home about. Imagine paying monthly subscription when other countries subscribe per useage and yet you are in to contend with all kind of error messages. At times you are deprived from watching the channels for days before they get it back by one or two codes through several attempts at their office. Nobody talks of compensating for the lost period. Attimes channels dissapear without notice and when notice is given there is no explanation and incidental compensation or refund for what you already paid for. If it rains, forget dstv. When the signal finally gets back thank your star. And the next minute you are reminded that your subscription expires the next day. If you don't pay accordingly, you are automatically yanked off.
I have never seen a think like this in any part of world.

true talk, u begin to wonder what the consumers' protection council is set up for. Before Nigerians finally take over we better start fighting for billing per usage as is the case with most services now

I blame the Nigerian security officers for treating the pre-election threats with kid gloves. Our security apparatus should stop waiting for havoc before reacting. If all those people who threatened to cause mayhem once President Jonathan loses the election had been placed on security watch, their phones taped, house and automobiles wired, at least, they will get traces. Now they are wasting our resources and perhaps lives. So so sad.
