My fellow introvert this is my story, those days I thought I was only one passing through this lot until I read a book titled, WHY YOU ACT THE WAY YOU DO. written by an American author TIM LAHAYE. There I understand myself more and love myself the more, been an introvert is a gift one need to accept and appreciate as well. You will not come to appreciate this rare gift until understand yourself and accept yourself the way you are. If you are an introvert you can never be an extrovert only that you can improve yourself to become a better introvert. To improve yourself first is to be aware that you are an introvert.
Secondly to accept yourself the way you are.
Thirdly to know your weaknesses.
Fourth to work on your weaknesses
Fifth to love yourself and never desire to be another person.

Both introvert and extrovert have their strength and weaknesses but if you are an introvert and tend to imitate an extrovert there the problem is because you are imitating someone based on his strength even when sometimes you act like extrovert you will never remain permanent there surely you will return to your introverted self once you are done.

The only best way to work on your weaknesses is to know your weaknesses. Number one weakness of an introvert is fear.

4 moody
5 depression
6 lack motivation e.t.c

The thing that baffle me is that an introvert tends to understand people but yet they're the most misunderstood. I tend to sense peoples' feelings but when it comes to mine, they don't even care to know. Another thing is that an introvert tends to understand and get clues quickly. So it pisses me off sometimes when people cannot understand seemingly simple things. I guess it has to do with our ability to think deeply. I prefer thought-provoking discussions rather than empty chatter. That's why some people cannot discuss with me because i don't like shallow talk and that's what most people engage in. Let's just say I love depth in everything I do. I love to ask the question 'why?' before I do things but people would prefer that I go with the flow and just do what everyone is doing. I have a way of revealing myself to people depending on who it is. If I meet a total stranger who I'm most likely never going to see again, I could chat and act like an extrovert. But if I'm most likely going to be seeing the person often, I show them my real introverted self with the mind that with time they'll see that that is how I am and those who accept me will finally make friends with me. Over the years I've come to be able to talk in front of people but I'm still not very comfortable when it's impromptu. If I'm told to teach something, I go the extra mile to make sure you undertand because I don't like the thought that i've wasted my time, my precious time. Staying indoors? Oh there is nothing as blissful as my 'me time' I hate noise more than anything. (sorry for the long unparagraphed post. But being an introvert I know you had the patience to read through it)

Story of the day;

Hello Omajuwa. I am an only child who is 42years old. My mother refused to remarry after my father died when I was young. She sacrificed so much for me to be where I am today. I got married about 7years ago. My wife and I have been looking upto God for a child. After pleading with my wife for us to adopt at least a child to no avail, I decided to get my mum who stays with us to help me speak to her woman to woman. But this made them become sworn enemies. My wife since then talks to my mother anyhow and disrespects her every now and then. It has been like that for months.

Few days ago, while returning from work, I heard their loud shouts from outside but I remained outside waiting for the shouts to be over as I didn’t want to be put in the position of choosing a side. But I had to intervene when I heard a loud slap. My wife had slapped my mother. I was enraged but I kept my cool, took my mother from the scene and catered for her. I have since not said a word to my wife.

All I feel when I am at home is sadness and depression. I have no peace in my own home. I have sacrificed a whole lot just to make this marriage work. The woman I married has become someone else. I have defended this same woman from my extended family for years. I have been labeled a ritualist and all sorts of name due to our childlessness but I have never cheated and I have always defended my wife despite knowing that she is the one with fertility issues.

Even though my mother has been trying to put up a strong front since that day, I know that she has been crying herself to sleep. I love my wife so much but I love my mum too. What could my mother have possibly done to warrant her slapping my mother? I think my wife is selfish and is no longer who I married. Why would she rather constantly inflict pain and sadness on her own family? I just want peace of mind and I have made up my mind to divorce my wife. But hope this won’t be a mistake? Is there still a marriage to save here? How do I go about it? What do I do? Please help me.

You said you love your wife if yes.
Find out the reason she don't want to adopt a child. Then know her fears if it's something you can encourage her and overcome that phobic of not wanting adopted child it will go a long way of bringing solution.
Again women are different from men you know? Since your Mum and your wife have been having issue about adopting, it will be difficult for them to stay in the same house without fighting. The best way is to separate them look for made to stay with your Mum since you are her only child and make sure you visit her often.
Since you love your wife don't divorce her just always encourage her because she might be passing through some cycological problems as a result of her inability to bear a child.
Finally remain faithful and pray to God he will surely put smiles on your faces some day.

The bible says "Man looks at the outward appearance, but God sees the heart". For this, since man naturally does not have the right or access to see the heart, you owe man decent dressing, so that from your dressing, he can probably believe or probably accept the God that sees your heart.

If we dress like mad people or like prostitutes, how do we expect those in public to believe in the God that sees your heart?. Our Christianity is not a selfish Christianity for our hearts alone, but a Christianity that Glorifies God in our heart and in our outward appearance.. The Bible says "let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven".

Let your light shine with decent and beautiful dressing that will make men appreciate the God that sees your heart.

You will see someone shabbily dress to church as if church is a party hall, some guys going to church putting on ear rings, some girls with mini skirts and so on.
