I wish Agitators good luck!
BTW Do we still have Biafra agitators? I thought they have now collapsed their Biafra dream to be campaigning for Atiku?
Indeed, the Indigenous People of Delusion (IPOD) are confused.
CAVEAT: By Ipod I'm referring to those aggressive and bitter bunch of internet trolls and not the great Igbo nation. Your caveat means NOTHING because IPOB is a recognized group using its name derogatorily doesn't show common sense... AntiHater: Revisionist have come again.....you are the one Who needs lecture, I mean get info from reliable source not the hatred your fathers and brothers in the east fed you with. What did you say lead to the coup?, akintola and awolowo...oh no wonder all northern politicians and most Senior military officers from the north were killed. And nobody was killed and. maim under the leadership of awolowo, stop the lies and please don't pass these lies to your children. Now let me open your deluded mind with some facts instead of asking silly question that tend twist facts and history; because at the end of the day, each man must analyse the facts and reach a conclusion. And however this conclusion must be base on facts which includes motive and execution of the coup;
FACTS
Motive The constitutional conference of January 1965 in which Zik was told the extent of his powers by the military service chiefs after Zik called the Army to intervene following his stand-off with Balewa
Facts 1. Zik was absent from Nigeria when the coup took place saying that he needed to rest. His personal physician abandoned him in the Caribbean. More worryingly, Zik preferred to be on holiday while Nigeria hosted for the first time, the Commonwealth Prime Minister's conference 2. The composition of the victims - mainly Northerners and Westerners 3. The composition of the plotters - overwhelmingly Igbo 4. The opportunist attitude of Igbo politicians after the coup failed. NCNC members wanted Mbadiwe to take over as Prime Minister despite the fact that NCNC was the junior partner in the coalition with NPC. With the rejection of Mbadiwe by NPC, rightly stating that there nominated Dip Charima, should take over as PM. With no progress in the deadlock, Nwafor Orizu preferred to hand over to Ironsi on the instructions of Zik who was on 'holiday'. 5. Nzeogwu's interview with Dennis Ejindu where Nzeogwu stated that the execution of the coup in the South was tribalistic
http://maxsiollun./2008/02/20/interview-with-major-nzeogwu/
6. After murdering Balewa and some of his colleagues, Ifeajuna proceeded to have a meeting with the premier of the East, Michael Okpara, in Enugu before escaping to Ghana. 7. Captain Nwobosi stated that Zik was tipped-off by Ifeajuna. But how did Nwobosi know whether Zik was part of the plan if Ifeajuna concocted the plan and Nwobosi himself was recruited two or three days before the coup? See Oil, politics and violence: Nigeria's military coup culture (1966-1976) By Max Siollun 8. Ironsi's inability to court-martial the plotters.
Allegation It was alleged that Zik was Ifeajuna by Ajuluchukwu (Zik's NCNC chieftain) smh |

RockHard: Oshoko is being contradictory here. No other ethnicity stands to lose more than the SEasterners if Nigeria divides because their survival as a people is intricately linked to the rest of Nigeria than any other group. Not only do they depend on other regions for imports, the fact that they are mostly traders and migrants is actually a pointer to their vulnerability than strenght as they need a large enough market to thrive and be successful. Oshokomole must have been overly excited and high when he made that exaggerated statement. Sometimes you allow your head to do the thinking instead of your emotions... 1)If Nigeria breaks up today, the new Igbo nation will be an extra or additional ECOWAS country with FREE EXIT and ENTRY into all fellow countries including Yoruba and other parts ...study ECOWAS treaties to understand better... 2) NOBODY loses anything because NO country is an island...ALL are dependent on each other depending on economies of scale, comparative advantage, and cost benefit analysis...NO country is also self sufficient. 3)IGBO like other migrants eg Chinese can be found in all countries and all corners. I have a video of a Greece man discussing the Nigerian nation especially the dexterity, industrious, sagacious, and enterprising cum migrant nature of Igbo...wish I can upload it here Does Chinese lose anything from migrating all over the world including Nigeria? An Igbo adage says, onye njenje ka onye isi awo ihe ama... 4)So how do they lose in market size? They have free exit and entry into ALL ECOWAS countries including your backyard. |

Politics › Re: Atiku For 2019 by Whynotthetruth(m): 5:32pm On Nov 17, 2016 |
Rilwayne001: I know this to be true and you will have to agree with buhari then that change indeed begins with us, do you?
Obviously we are so engrossed in corruption with our daily activities that to get out of it is a long journey that may take a decade to achieve. To accelerate it, the government must come in to bring back lawlessness to the people ie to make people bend to the society laws by fire by force. But a government that will do such a thing will have to be the type that will be devoid of lawlessness as well. This we expected Buhari to do but failing woefully at it.
That's the mindset of people, and we don't have this evil mindset because we are just like that, rather because what we have seen our political office holders did and are still doing in their positions. Once are politicians do things the way that is expected to, and things get back to normal in the society, trust greedy mindset will be a thing of the past in our youths. But in a place where you hear Dogara raking like 2billion to his own personal account and efcc, icpc and others can't do anything about it, trust me we'll all have this same mindset to do the same thing, after all no one will come after us, since someone did it and no one went after him. But in a law abiding society where corrupt politicians are dealt with appropriately, greed will be in the bearest minimum. Change begins with Buhari and all of you who define Nigeria through the eye of bigotry and deep seated hatred... Remember, I know you beyond your recent post ATIKU remains the best on paper among most active northern politicians. |

we all got poor moral values. If we can tackle that, then our society would be a better place for all. Exactly bro... APC through their media propaganda configured the reasoning of most folks ...If our value system is addressed then most people will simply work for their living... Buhari using scarce resources when we are in recession in search for oil in ARID North is fed by bigotry which is also an offshoot of corruption... taking undue advantage of one's office. |

Rilwayne001: You never can tell whether he's a bigot or not. And bigotry is not the only problem we are facing in Nigeria. The major problem of our government is CORRUPTION. Once corruption is eliminated, every other thing will follow suit. What makes you think that ATIKU is not as corrupt as OBJ or any other corrupt politician out there? What's corruption? Folks just scream corruption everywhere... NIGERIA can NEVER end or stop corruption anytime soon by using EFCC or any other agency. The living style of Nigerians already promotes the vice... otherwise name an aspect of Nigerians life that's devoid of corrupt activities... Ask a youth today, what will you do if you were to be president for a minute or CBN Governor for a minute...He will sing about the quantum of wealth he will accumulate... Meaning our value system is dead already. Can EFCC change that? |
