You people are just to sentimental to reason. What exactly do you want? Good roads? pipe born water? excellent schools? cheap food? jobs to cater to the thousands of u employed? All these things could have been done with the money the NDDC was collecting from federal coffers, with the money the mi istry if Niger Delta was collecting from federal coffers, from the money the SS state governors were collecting from federal coffers, from the 13% addition they were collecting from federal coffers. Why weren't they done? Those are the simple straightforward questions you should be asking yourself. Not 2014 confab report or this nonsense about restructuring. Does restructuring prevent Wine from completing the mono rail project in Rivers? Does restructuring prevent the Delta state government from building quality schools in escravos? even with the 13% derivation? Let's face the issues and stop whipping up stupîd sentiments.
1)My last reply to you because I don't wanna go raw on anybody this evening...

2)I asked a simple question...what does it cost to construct a kilometer of road or build school in ND compared to other regions? are they same? NO... environmental make up makes it more cost intensive there than anywhere else

3)How much was budgeted for NDDC, Ministry of ND etc...how much was released? Eg examine extent of budget implementation under buhari for 2015 & 2016...?

4)If SW can't hold their leaders responsible; why are they quick to advice others on same?...Poverty is more there than any region else...Stomach infrastructure by Tinubu, fayemi, kashamu etc is evident including IDP-like state like Osun... isn't it in SW, that churches, mosques etc were sending food to hungry folks? did they hold their leaders accountable and their states became like IDP camps extension?... . Hypocrisy!!!

Goodnight!!!

You can't use decisions made during an oppressive military regime to judge a Democratic regime. Everyone lost someone during Abachas rule of tyranny. Abacha killed and imprisoned everyone that stood in his way, Yoruba's Ibos and even Hausa's. If that is your justification for blowing up pipelines in 2016, you must be very sick.
smh... don't push me to go raw on you!!!

Was Nnamdi Kanu imprisoned and Sokoto Kabiru released under military?

Was Odia & Zaki biam pummelled under military?

Was Oil companies forced abi blackmailed to relocate to Lagos under military?

Nnamdi Kanu has nothing to do with Niger Delta struggle. He's struggling for another cause. He also preaches violence so he's not a good example here.

We cannot deny the fact that we have been shortchanged. So many reports have been given, yes. But none has been implemented. The marginalization is there no doubts. However, we cannot cause more devastation for ourselves. That's my argument.

Let us use any other method. Let us do anything other than blowing pipelines and killing our ecosystem ourselves. Oil exploration has already done that. Let's not add to it. The economy affects EVERYONE. The irony is that the people we are thinking it'll affect won't be affected. Those people have already made their money. We are the ones it'll affect. The common Niger Deltan who has nothing will be forced to beg and go hungry because of what his brothers have done.

The so-called professionals that came and the little attention we received was not due to militancy but a UN report on ecological devastation. Nigeria was only avoiding being sued.

Let's apply akonuche in everything we do.
How many people did Nnamdi Kanu or his supporters kill? Stop lying bro...he preaches self defense not violence!!!

No solution including dialogue brought positive result except militancy...

Forget this freedom fighting thing! Nobody is oppressing you! What you need is more accountability! See how much was allocated to the ministry of Niger Delta in 6 years and not a single project was completed within that period! whose fault? Hausa's? Then you have the NDDC and the various state governments in the SS with separate budgets and with 13% derivation. Where the hell is all the money going?? If you would just hold your governors accountable for once! How on earth is it Buhari's fault that Godswill Akpabio stole more than 100billion naira from AkwaIbom? Even when the EFCC tried to investigate you people turned around and cried witch hunt.
1) What's the cost of construction in ND terrain compared to other regions?...That will amswer all your questions and write ups there... Yes, there thieves but FG should do what is right...

2)How much was stolen in SW states including bailout funds and have they complained? who protested against Tinubu prosecution if not SW? which group insults everybody and everything here if Fashola is asked to be prosecuted if not SW?...which group insists that Amechi should not be prosecuted if not SW? ...Deal with facts bro!!!

3)When cocoa and groundnut were popular we had 100% resource control...Now that oil is popular, resource control should be implemented...or do you suffer environmental degradation with ND?

We have not done enough to be honest. The so-called bombing of pipelines have gone on for more than 7 years and it has achieved NOTHING other than enriching militants who are now paid monthly to shut up.

Ken Saro Wiwa attempted being vocal in a military regime hence his death. Let us revive the Wiwa spirit in this democratic dispensation. Bombing things is not working for us. It only enriches a few. We need a different strategy.

Yes we need to fight for freedom but not all fights are self destructive and violent. Let's fight the right way.
1) Did Nnamdi Kanu also right vocally in a military regime? where's he?

2)What happened to all dialogue reports in their archives? which did they implement?

3)Did Kabiru Sokoto kill any member of your family? Did Buhari supporters kill anyone close to you in their 2011 mayhem? Is any in prison today? Keep dialogue coming bro!!!

4)Many educated professionals came thanks to militancy compensation...many companies reduced speed of ecosystem rape... Federal government began some positive development...It achieved something though not enough...

I agree that the current system in Nigeria is not working. Things have to change. We need true federalism and everything must shift from the center. However, the means in which we are fighting for that is my grievance.

Those pipelines do not only feed the Hausas but also our people. Anything that happens to Nigeria happens to our people, even in worse proportions because of marginalization. We need to rethink our methods. Gandhi, Martin Luther King, and other known activists, achieved their dreams without blowing up anything or fighting anyone. What has militancy achieved in Nigeria since its inception?

We can go on mass protest, boycotts, hunger strikes, block roads, etc and attract attention that will force the government to listen to us or atleast dialogue. But how many Niger Deltans will agree to do these? We'd rather cheer on economic terrorists who are fighting for their own stomachs. Very soon, compensation will be paid and the common man won't even feel it.

We need restructuring. We need federalism. We need resource control. But we should get them without recourse to terrorism. Civil disobedience was employed by Rev. Kings. Let's try that and it may work for us. Terror and sabotage are not productive. History should have taught us that.
1)How many of Such were done in past without success? Did Saro Wiwa & co bomb pipeline? where are they?

2)Have we not dialogued enough? where's implementation? where's confab report of 2014? Who's fooling who?

3)Freedom isn't given anywhere freely...If you want freedom, fight for freedom!!!

The ones who destroyed? Those illiterate "freedom fighters" are polluting their farmlands and their waterways everyday by bombing pipelines in the name of "fighting for their rights". Who on earth sets fire to his own house with his children in it, just so he can spite his neighbour who doesn't even send him! They even attack the engineers they send in to repair the bombed pipelines. Its just pure illiteracy. I can't wait to see you people on CNN in the not distant future, begging for food aid cos that's where you're headed.
Did militants exist when Saro Wiwa and co complained of oil spillage all over ND which destroyed sources of water and farmland etc...but they were hanged to die?

Where is the FG's share of the ECA?

Sometimes, I get tired replying some silly comments here...no offense

1)That you failed or had no viable idea doesn't make YOUWIN an avenue for embezzlement... People with verifiable, veritable and viable ideas were selected and given loans... Don't call or insult others because you failed or lack ideas...

2)Ask Your governor and LGA chairmen what they did with their allocations from FG...They were allocated from same fund...

3)FG share of ECA was used for such glorious and laudable projects like PRESSID, YOUWIN etc...and he built more roads than any government in our history so far... Including other projects like railway etc...

2)Have sort for the tax clearance of these companies to ascertain if they were available?

3)Patience Jonathan according to you who left service as a permanent secretary cannot afford such amount; but your hero whose wife is a hair dresser can afford to drop 138million notwithstanding the husband borrowed 27million a month before? ...

4)Patience Jonathan is a thief because a cumulative sum of $31dollars were domiciled in 5 companies account and her personal account...but Aisha Buhari is not a thief because the Aisha in Halliburton scandal isn't her but PDP imaginary concoction...which Buhari can NEVER investigate or unravel... notwithstanding Nigeria has an outstanding $180million of that loot waiting for repatriation in USA once the looters are prosecuted...

5) Patience Jonathan is not to be defended hence we be called idiots and corruption promoters; but Buhari and Aisha are to be defended by the Solomon's & saints of this country...

6) Patience Jonathan stole "your" yesterday, today, & tomorrow but Aisha Buhari with her ostentatious cum luxurious lifestyle albeit a hair dresser refunded and restored what the "Holocaust" has stolen from you ...

7)Patience Jonathan cannot own such amount having worked as permanent secretary, served as first Lady for 16years but Aisha Buhari can afford her 138mil and luxurious living cum world travels as a hair dresser and first Lady for barely 2years...

coolI forgot that Jonathan declared ALL his assets OPENLY in 2007 but Buhari vehemently refused to declare his openly as promised during campaigns and has NEVER done so anytime in history..but Jonathan is a thief Not worth defending by anybody but Buhari is a man of integrity who deserves our collective support and defense with our blood ...

9) Jonathan should not be commended OPENLY by anybody for his projects being commissioned by buhari because government is a continuum but should be insulted for every buhari failure because Jonathan laid the foundation for such failure...

10) The crass nepotism of Buhari isn't corruption...rot in PTF under him is propaganda... Selective justice as head of state is corruption fighting back... bastardizing leadership snd economy isn't his fault... corruption presently in Nigeria is product of Jonathan hangover...

I am simply convinced and trying to reflect that the white man is individually not more intelligent hence not better than we are also individually.
Making a few SIMPLE changes among ourselves (citizens/followers & leaders) will make our society much better than it currently is and as competitive as it once was compared to the oyinbos and koras.
We CAN get there if we make the needed adjustments and sacrifice.
