I was actually shocked. And worst still, she sees nothing wrong in it, telling me that they were mere words. Can you imagine? Calling a group of people "flat heads" could me just mere words? Her friends? She schools in their land, chats with them, live with them but still pretend to like them? Pretenders are the worst set of people and she is just the last person I could think of.

Am sure Miz must have spotted this trait in her and is already careful with her. I trust her.

It is not about being careful...she has told us about her through thoughts...it is now left for her to be bold enough since tribal words are just mere words.

I guess you understand the difference between formulation and approval.

The President approves the policies formulated by the CBN.

An idea is not a policy.

There is a process to formulate an idea into a government policy, in this case it is the function of the CBN.
My explanation still holds...CBN coordinates monetary policies formulation snd implementation...

Minister of finance coordinates fiscal policy formulation and implementation...

Both policies are harmonized and complementary in nature bearing the ideas and thoughts of the president...
PoliticsRe: Governors Pass Vote Of Confidence On Adeosun And Udoma by Whynotthetruth(m): 9:25pm On Sep 22, 2016
menxer:
That is why I said you are confounded for bringing the President into it, since the two go hand in hand;
He who formulates fiscal policies also formulates monetary policies.
Oga...you are missing the mark biko...

1) President is the MD/CEO...so can't be taken out of the equation...His ideas and thought process is what his downliners implement by way of relevant policies...

2)CBN Governor takes charge of MONETARY policies....

3) Minister of finance takes charge of Fiscal Policies...

NONE implements any policy outside the ideas and commands of the president...They discuss whatever idea with him and get approval before going public...BOTH policies are COMPLEMENTARY....NONE goes without the other...so Nigeria had issues immediately Buhari left that office vacant for career civil servants to manage for 6months.... thanks and good pm!!!

Ekweremadu is an ignorant tribalist for making that silly call. He didn't call for the removal of Emefiele who is directly responsible for formulating the country's monetary policies and managing the forex earning but he conveniently heaped all the blame on Adeosun and Udo Udoma who only came into government less than a year ago. Good to see that the governors can see through his silly tribal politics.
1) You're seeing Ekweremmadu's innocent comment through the mirror of your inner being...hence projecting your own fears and thoughts as his...The tribalist here is YOU...

2)Is Dino Melaye an Igbo man too? ...He has made same call as Ekweremmadu several times...

3)What business has governors in passing vote of confidence here?...It is not their constitutuency...hence holds no water... Minister is an FG portfolio while governor is state oriented....NASS can decide to put both ministers under intense heat without any consequence...So NASS has more say here than governors...

A huge appreciation to TeHN and Nairalanders on behalf of Mrs Akinlana. There's no time I pop at her shop that she doesn't show gratitude and shower prayers to everubody that contributed in one form or the other. Her shop is in much better shape and sales are starting to pick up. She saves more now, however she still has a long way to go before she can put away something substantial like she used to. But she believes with more hardwork and prayers, she will get there. She has decided to venture into catering to augment her income. She used to do it for free for close pals and family but now she wants to start charging, most of them are unwilling to pay, . She hopes to get customers away from the familiar ones that may want to take advantage of her goodwill. So I created a thread for her on the events section.

Any one interested in hiring her can send me a private message.

Thanks and God bless you all
Hmmm...just seeing this today... because I saw your comment on a thread and curiously ran to see the face of this lady...and I saw this link as attached there cheesy

Why not stick such threads as this As the first item on each section so that it would gain more publicity?

thanks to all who helped her out and thanks to those who wanted to help but lacked resources...and thanks to those who saw it but felt indifferent and thanks to us who didn't see it ...and thanks finally to the spirit that tempted me to peep this lady's profile, only to notice that Nairaland still has a positive among its numerous negatives wink

First of all, it is obvious you do not know the meaning of the word bigotry. Secondly, it means nothing if 10 or 100 blogs carry the same story in nigeria; even a primary school pupil with access to internet data knows that blogs in Nigeria do CTRL+C and CTRL+V from each other. If I ask you to do a google search and supply at least 5 of the so called outlets that conveyed the report, it would be obvious to you that 4 out of the 5 would be word for word reportage.

With the proliferation of lazy and dubious bloggers all over the place in Nigeria, smart people typically do a quick sense-check of what they read online especially as we have more falsehood circulating in cyberspace presently.

I've been asking you all day to rationalise the story you swallowed regarding the purported 20,000km of roads built by GEJ; 20,000km isn't 20km which could be hidden from public view, roads aren't economic statistics which can be hidden in paper, if there are even 10,000km roads built, it would be seen by all. Maybe i'm probably blind and my friends and relatives are also all blind, so kindly just help us out by mentioning the names of the roads you know that make up the 20,000km?.. Is that too much to ask of a smart person?
Drop your epistle...

Simply attend to my request which was foremost here....I was the first to make that request...which is for you to support with a link your assertion on this thread that Fashola debunked the claim? Is it too much to ask someone to support his talk with evidence even if it is APC propagandists blog... I will accept it wholeheartedly cheesy grin I am not being choosy with which media outfit to believe like you...just anyone... kindly drop it here... cheesy grin grin Once done, I will take you on a journey of Jonathan's road here and now wink

My Man stop ranting like a scorned first wife deprived of attention. We are talking about Fashola and the phantom 20,000km of VERY GOOD ROADS purportedly built by GEJ. Remain focussed on the issue and stop delving into Amaechi or Ogbeh.

You don't expect a busy minister to start responding to every single regurgitation of politically disgruntled bad liars, especially when the story is baseless and lacks any iota of common sense. The story says GEJ fixed over 20,000km of roads to 'very good standards', and in order to lend it credibility, the report claims it was quoting fashola... Mr 'Full-Vessel', kindly point out where the so called 20,000 km of roads are, and stop shouting amaechi and Ogbeh. I have been around the SE, SS and SW in the last 5-6 years, I couldnt find the 20,000km of roads, except you are saying the roads are all in the north, then I wouldnt argue further cos the last time I crossed Abuja northwards was in 2009.
With the aid of map of Nigeria... call someone to show you the areas under Jonathan's leadership as president...Once seen, search for his road projects in all those areas including daura...Nigeria didn't start from Shagamu and end in badagry wink

You don't need more than common sense to know that a claim of fixing 20,000 km of roads in Nigeria in 5 years is senseless, especially as no one can actually come forward to testify seeing these roads. For a certain level of nonsense, it would be demeaning to even offer a response. Sorry, Fashola is a busy man and wouldn't reduce himself to start responding to every nonsense, especially when it wasn't a question thrown directly at him.
1)So are we to shift attention from body language now to common sense? cheesy Just so it seemed impossible to you because you are blinded by hatred and bigotry; so also it is for entirety of deluded APC peeps & hierarchy, who even PUBLICLY denied the existence of Abuja-Kaduna speed rail because it seemed impossible to them...they got pictures of vast open field and circulated on internet while ridiculing Jonathan...Same peeps today are dancing as Buhari is commissioning same Jonathan trains which they denied ever existed...

2)Did you read Amechi when he went to commission Jonathan's train in Port Harcourt...He didn't know such awesome investment existed under his nose as governor...? ... Remember, APC denied it officially ...while some called it ordinary outdated locomotives...

3)Did you read Audu Ogbe when he went to commission rice project in Birnin Kebbi ...he marvelled at Jonathan agricultural Achievement...? ...APC denied same and called it paper Achievement...

4)Buhari denied existence of fuel subsidy...but paid for subsidy and asked for removal of same thing he denied ever existed...

4)Why would a government not correct impression about something that will put them on spotlight? ...So issues about road construction is now nothing to your myopic lens?...Was the Facebook post thrown at him?...Was bring back our corruption thrown at them? but they responded to all... smh...Empty barrel you are indeed!!!

3) The roads I listed are not just the most popular, but also the longest roads connecting regions. Together they don't even go close to 2000km at least in the south. 2) You stated a Thisday editorial, you did not give a link. Secondly, do you know what an editorial is?.. It is the personal opinion of a person like you or me, it cant be passed off as news. Thirdly, The distance from Lagos to London is roughly 5000 km, someone tells you GEJ fixed roads as long as four times the distance from Lagos to London; you cannot point out any of the so called fixed roads on your map, yet you believe it as fact, because one blog tells you that fashola said so?

Benin-Ore-Sagamu is roughly 250km, Lagos to ibadan expressway is roughly 130 km, East-west road from Warri to Akwa-Ibom (extending up to Oron) is roughly 340 km, Onitsha-Enugu is roughly 100km, PH-Enugu expressway is roughly 220 km. All the above roads which can be described as the most important roads in the southern part of Nigeria together are just about 1040 km long, yet someone claims GEJ built over 20,000 km of bad roads to VERY GOOD standards and 'Mr I-do-Facts' here swallows this beautiful nonsense and churns it out as one of his FACTS. Lawd av merci! grin grin
1) You're a pompous chap though seemingly empty...no offense but it irritates me to discover that someone who's ridiculing others IQ is actually empty ...

2) You already have more than 10different news outlets saying same thing...try Google for proof...but NONE denying it...so what's need of getting the editorial again for you...btw an editorial isn't just an opinion bro but that of an AUTHORITY...that's why Buhari sponsors several editorials abroad to shore up his image and that of his disorganized government...If bloggers shouldn't be taken serious with their news; how come buhari cum APC established ricecivist? cheesy grin how much is LIB worth? wake up bro!!! gringringrin ...how come if it was false they didn't refute same when they even respond or refute Facebook posts of individuals which they see as lies or misleading? see ya life cheesy grin

Our education system is trashy doesn't mean we have not seen smart people who identified the missing gap early and worked hard to make up that knowledge deficit and are clearly reaping from it now. Just put the content of our textbooks for high school next to the content of the British or American textbooks and you will be so disappointed. I know that we're a resource limited nation but we can do better. India is doing a lot in that regard, even neighbouring Ghana is doing better in monitoring the quality of their education system.

I just need to clarify some things in your No. 4 and No. 5 above. Firstly, GEJ did not build any 5-times more roads than any other leader... It was one of those ikebe super blogs who made that baseless report and they had to lie about it using fasholas name claiming he said "gej built 21,000km of good roads." The first question anyone should ask is gow many kilometres of federal roads fo we even have in Nigeria and this 21000km of roads built by gej, how come they are nowhere to be found in reality except on paper? .. anyway, Fash has since debunked that gutter report as a joke.

Regarding the recession, experts have only said buhari with the right actions could have eased the recession. The action everyone keeps pointing to still remains the pegging of the currency till june. If you go back and read those statements by the foreign journals, they always acknowledge the crash in oil price and the crash in Nigeria's production as the mother cause of the downturn; they then go further to say some actions/inactions of govt made it worse. But obviously, people with a prejudiced heart only choose to see the later part cos it suits your narrative.
1)Making a comment without reading through shows height of irresponsibility and makes you a joker...And to think you were insulting others of having lower IQ compared to you makes it even more unpardonable...what a joke of personality...

2)I challenge you to show where Fashola debunked as lie or even exaggeration what he said OPENLY on assuming office as minister of Works that Jonathan had 5times more roads than any previous administration...Am waiting!!! Even Thisday newspapers had several editorial pieces on same... especially when Amechi screamed at extent of rail development even in his backyard, Lai Mohammed came with body language propaganda on our then refurbished refineries, Adeshina came with new sheriff propaganda, and Audu Ogbe came with eulogies on innovations in Agriculture all under Jonathan administration which they maligned and you still keep maligning and hating...Drop the denial links by Fashola here plzzzz ...am waiting!!!

3)All foreign and Nigerian economists agreed that this recession was AVOIDABLE... Buhari pushed Nigeria into it 100%...Soludo opined that a year is good enough to manoeuvre Nigeria out of effect of crude oil price fall...so if Nigeria is still using same as excuse after a year then there's leadership failure. QED!!! ...btw Reduction of production was also product of Buhari's ineptitude and nepotism...Yes, aside calling the region feeding his government derogatorily 5% who won't get nothing from his government; he went on to close Maritime university in same region while opening aviation university in North...before embarking on a campaign of calumny against their son his predecessor...And hence, the region reacted and we are here today wink

Did you read that Guinness PLC recorded their 1st loss in 30uears now? THINK!!! It means the previous loss was under Buhari and now again another wahala cheesy Buhari nah disaster bro cheesy

Trash.. He built more road truly yet ur ppl are begging pmb to come fix ur erosion ravaged roads in the yeast. And has Buhari reversed those salaries increment he started? If he uses his own share to pay salaries then why borrowing to pay salaries. As per money saved by pmb, no one knows yet and definitely there is savings cos there is a benchmark for oil sales...
