My wife is an Npower applicant and she has already been posted to a primary school in Katsina to teach. Attached is her posting letter. She is to report for duty on 1st Dec. 2016. So I think all Npower applicants should ignore the NPVN site and report at their various LGEA Offices. Cheers.

Traversing in lurch until a date I stumbled upon
Special but meant for a unique innate

I woke acquainted with what is abound
With my stylograph held in style that fits
Virgin vellum awaits the arrival of it's twin
My mind deluded of the right words to use

With the spate of ink in my pen
Moving through the waiting vellum
Yet, it appears blank and void of ink
Alas! Something is wrong somewhere

When the pressure of my pen becomes unbearable
The whitish vellum I can't peruse
In fiasco ends the agility to write
Clearer, it appears like a daylight
Words can't quantify a unique being like jarus.

Crime / Re: Ronke Shonde’s Sister Denies Lekan Shonde’s Claims by whysquare4real(m): 7:14pm On May 11, 2016
vorigan:

Fresh revelations from the Bewajis, Lekan Shonde’s in-laws, have rubbished the accounts of the alleged killer of always providing for the family, leaving his two cars for Ronke and catching her philandering with a manager in the packaging company she worked.

Lekan Shonde, 51, was described as an intensely jealous and insecure husband. The Ogun state indegene who surrendered on Monday, May 9, four days after his wife was discovered lifeless in their Egbeda-Idimu apartment on Friday, May 6, is said to be a recklessly violent man.

From the account of Bolatito, the only surviving sibling of Ronke, Lekan’s explanations are far from the truth.

Here are 10 shockers from Bolatito’s interview with Punch…

1. Lekan’s first physical abuse was in 2012. And the most recent was in December 2015, which almost led Ronke packing out of the house. She had agreed to leave, but changed her mind later. The case was even reported to the police.

2.Ronke, whose brother just passed on, was crying while Bolatito, on instructions of their mum, was begging her to leave him, that December 2015.

3. A pastor and landlady on their street begged on behalf of Lekan Shonde. And she stayed, in spite of the warning.

4. The recent source of rancour was a love child brought by his baby mama. The discovery shattered Ronke. And Lekan was pleading and begging, even volunteering to do a DNA test, which he never did.

5. The love child expose turned Ronke into a quieter woman who stopped talking to her husband.

6. Bolatito claimed Ronke never had a relationship outside wedlock. That it was Lekan’s jealousy and insecurity that fueled his suspicion. That the manager mentioned had a professional relationship with Ronke.

7. On many occasions, three other colleagues of Ronke had been accused of dating her. That even male Facebook friends have been embarrsssed by useless accusations.

8. Lekan kept vigil in front of their house to see who would drop his wife. And accuse her of adultery.

9. The children school fees were sometimes paid by the Bewajis, contrary to Lekan’s account of providing for the family. And sometimes rent. That before she died, she was struggling to raise N70,000 to replace the gear box of her car.

10. Lekan constantly went through Ronke’s phones to see if she was cheating. And constantly trailed her to check if she had lovers.

Education / Re: 51 Bag First Class In UNIOSUN by whysquare4real(m): 4:10pm On Mar 05, 2016
Dottore:
I was wondering why many tertiary institutions in Nigeria keep dishing out first class and high grades these days now that general reading culture has fallen to an all time low. I came to understand that malpractice has gone to a digital level. students can easily 'Google' their way through many exam queations
The resultant effect is that graduates actually come out with high grades yet become more unemployable.

Many teenagers make good grades in WAEC and NECo whereas they can hardly read and write.
I know graduates that have 2.1 but they can hardly make a correct sentence in English language.

I was on a call session with a Lady I met in a postgraduate class when suddenly the call dropped. I called her back moments later and she answered. When I asked her what happened the previous time she responded "pls sorry I cutted the call because my mom's call want to enter". This happened months ago but that statement still rings like a bell in my ears.

The educational system has so much degenerated that standard six holders of yesteryears are more educated than today's many Masters Degree holders.
God help us as our schools keep churning out more illiterate graduates.
In as much as I agreed with u, I would like to also point out dats it's easier to bag a first class in d uni and not be able to speak English fluently. If u ve a good memory and can cram well den fist class is urs. Also if ur mind is free from distractions and u can really focus well. Am saying these cos I know of some guys who are actually bagging fist class right now. One is even studying physics in a fed uni. This is a guy dat I know how he got his o level results.

After a turbulent week as a result of fuel scarcity and hike in Imo state , I'm compressed to ask this question ; Why do we buy fuel between #120 -130 and the same fuel is being sold #87 in the north? Does it mean that the govt only subsidises fuel that goes to the north.... and easterners can buy high.

pls stop saying wat u don't know. fuel is sold at ard 110 to 120 per litre here in d north. I will try n post pix here tomorrow wen I visit any fuel station.

it is enough crime to be working anywhere in this country as a Nigerian without an nysc discharge certificate or an exemption letter...and for the fellow to be gainfully employed by a federal firm,it means she either got the appointment through false pretence or any other illegal means...I'll recommend to the Dg Nysc to give her an extension of one service year without pay, effective from when her current service year is to end
haba! She got d job with a lower qualification while waiting endlessly to b mobilized for NYSC

NYSC / She Lost Her Fed. Appointment Because She Was On National Service by whysquare4real(m): 3:12pm On Jul 14, 2015
A woman got an employment with one of the newly established fed. Universities in April 2013 and she was called for National Service in June 2013. She took permission for a few days to take part in d Orientation programme and she was lucky to be redeployed back to her base because of her marital status. She was later posted to a school and she also goes to her place of work cos she run shifting duty. So she has bin combining d two task even when she was pregnant. On her POP day, she was given a letter of termination of appointment by d University because of what they termed "receiving salary twice from FG purse".Although the reason was nt stated in the letter. We got to know that the management took dat decision becos a strong politician had an issues wit his ex-wife who happens to b doing d same thing I.e serving and working. My question; is it a crime to b serving and working in d federal civil service, is there any civil service rule dat says one can not do so, or is it against d university rule. D worst thing is dat d NYSC state coordinator refused to give her her discharge cert saying d university wrote to him To confirm if she is still serving. Pls those dat are conversant with d law should shed more light on dis and advise d woman. Tanks. Pls MoDs move dis topic to Front page so as to get feedbacks frm serious folks. Tanks.

An administration dat was laccadisical abt d Chibok girls, an administration dat has bin in battle wit dis terrorists for over 5yrs. But wat happens if the multinational force is nt able to defeat d terrorist within 6 weeks, ar we saying d election will b shifted to 2016?I tink d decision was taken long b4 nw. Dat explains why foreign journalist were nt accredited, so dat d fed govt won't just waste their time coming to Nigeria for an election dat won't hold
