taharqa: I 'feel' for the lady Banker but let d law take its course. It is the only way Nigerian at all levels would 'behave'"Feeling" for her is what I don't understand here. She earlier got released over this case. Now more fingers points on her from another direction. It is very possible that Mrs Johnson has some questions to answer on that case. Those Nigerians on costly JEEPS have their way of forcing through traffic. After all, they can pay it off in court. Let her face it, so others can learn. That's my take on this! |

Hello Fellow Webmasters, greetings to all. I guess all of us who use facebook for our website promotion must have noticed the recent drop in the number of comments your fans make on your wall posts, or were you thinking that your beloved fans and readers don't come online again? Well they do. Mark Zuckerberg recently introduced the "promote" button so that we (webmasters) can pay some amounts to enable our wall posts reach more of our audience. This is different from adverts, you know. As if the promote stuff is not enough, I read in a US magazine last month that facebook will soon start charging users. If that is implemented, it means you and I, plus all the children sleeping on facebook day and night may have to start paying for their account usage, depending on number of friends and pictures/videos uploaded. Imagine? Well it's okay. Nigerians are smart, very very smart. I was going through some social network alternative to facebook when I saw another social network hosted on http://varpal.com/ and went further to know that it is owned by a Nigerian by name Chris. The guy is smart because I was about going into that when I saw his website, very much like the Mark Zuckerberg's facebook. Webmasters, and Nigerians in the house, isn't this a good development? How long are we going to sit back and depend on these western guys to run our affairs for us? I don't think there is a popular forum in Africa as big as Nairaland. And I am happy that it is owned by a Nigerian as well, Seun my guy. Let's support ourselves to grow. See more on FACEBOOK TO START CHARGING USERS HERE http:///L61tG

They're concerned about the longevity likelihood for their romance so they can avoid heartache before they invest their heart, life, and soul into each other prematurely. First, let me distinguish between the two primary types of Long Distance Relationships, aka LDR. The first kind of Long Distance Relationship is that which is between two people who have already met each other in person. The second category of Long Distance Relationship is that which between two people who have not yet met who are pursuing a relationship exclusively online. The scope of this article is the help specifically couple who have met in person and have an in person relationship, which for various reasons are now in a Long Distance Relationship. The two of you already know about how you share personal chemistry and body language signals for developing and fostering your relationship. For whatever reason, the two of you now are either in or are facing a period of your relationship life where you two are separated physically. Mutual caring and respect are a priority in your lives. The two of you make an effort to spend time together and share an activity where you can, even with you're being apart from each other in a Long Distance Relationship. Many couples where one spouse is serving often in a combat capacity in one of the branches of the military often cannot do this for days at a time. When the two of you discuss this in advance, then you two can reach agreement. Honoring the value and importance of each other. Often the spouse who is serving in the military, many of your life variables are outside of your power and control. Know this in advance. Communicate with your spouse well in advance. People in the business world can sometimes feel like their job position is completely in the control of their boss and company. By communicating with your partner and honoring their importance in your life as a priority as well is both a sign of the vitality and longevity of your relationship as well as one of the relationship habits that will contribute to relationship's success. Your life paths are aligned and your families are supportive. Most couples have careers which are separate from each other. However, look at the purpose of the work you both are doing. Are they aligned and supportive of each other? Secondarily, reflect on how supportive your families are of your relationships. Today's pop culture has relegated the role of the father as a sideline figure. He has become a man who merely observes the family matters and hardly ever makes a semi-inspirational conversation. This is a disservice to fathers and a bad example for any new father to follow. A father's presence is paramount in any family and his presence, both emotional and physical, has a significant impact on the children. Take a conscious interest in your child's life. Ask them about their day, talk to them about their hobbies. Don't be over bearing but help your child understand that you genuinely want to have conversation flowing with them. It's not that you become a friend, remain in your parental authority, reprimand when you should but always keep the avenue for discussion open. Your children will not only respect you due to the rapport you have established, but will also have a keener understanding of your expectations of them which they will be more excepting of as they are not being thrown in their faces in the form of anger or disappointment. https://thewilfreds.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/wilfred-writes.jpgSimilarly involve your children in your life. You don't need to tell them everything but actions that will in some way or the other impact the family unit should be related to them and their opinion listened to and respected. This will not only increase the bond that you have but create an understanding that as a family you have shared responsibilities and every one counts equally. Play catch with your daughter; take your son to cooking classes. Fathers can play a major role in breaking gender roles and how their children conceive of themselves. Such acts will show your children that there are no societal boundaries on what they can do and aspire for. Respect their mother. You cannot expect your children to show respect for you if you are rude towards one of the most important figures in their life, especially in their formative stages. Do not insult or shout at each other in front of the children, arguments are inevitable but remember to conduct your self as the adults you are. Your children will love you no matter what. You are their father and you matter but how much they respect you goes hand in hand with how much effort you put into building up a solid and a two-way relationship. If you're able to do this, you'll realise that your ability to stay in charge will also increase. Wilfred is the first online Student Consultant in Nigeria. mykejones: And i shld term u...?Term him anything, nice job he'd done. The guy spotted the wrongs we 've been doing here a long! I already gave the JAMBites step-by-step guide to checking the results. Good luck to them. |
The problem with Nigeria started with lack of good planning. No organisation, before degenerating to corruption. For God's sake what is the difference between HND and B.SC? It is true that I am a university student, but let the truth be told. Polytechnics are almost better these days practical-wise! |

Youngsage: It appeared that majority of JAMBites this year devoted more time to reading the two recommended novels for use of English namely The Potter's Wheel and The Success than other aspects. But we have found out that it was a hoax from JAMB just to make candidates buy and read them. So what is your opinion about this issue? They simply scammed Nigerians: See http://thewilfreds.com/aftermath-jamb-scams-1-5-million-nigerian-students-again/ |
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board-JAMB in her position as the sole body legally responsible for conducting the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination in Nigeria ought to be a trusted name among not only the students but every household. It is a famous Board, occupying a central position in the country’s educational sector. But sometimes, it picks up a badge of notoriety like most Nigerian public institutions. Last year JAMB promised to provide all candidates with writing materials, but not all students got it. As if there is room for improvement, we (Nigerians) forgave them. This year again, they have done the worse! Surprised? Then read on. The JAMB introduced into their syllable two different novels, by names: The Potter‘s Wheel and The Successors. No doubt, things are hard generally in the country, especially since this first quarter of the year but that did not dampen the zeal of parents and guardians to ensure their wards participated in the exam. So they all had to get these two books and mandate their children to read them. At last, JAMB did not ask not even a question from these books today, what a scam! Over here , we set exams for people to fail. In fact, we deliberately place booby-traps and landmines to make the candidates fail. In the Western world, they set exams for people to pass. No examination body in the United States would deliberately deceive its candidates in the manner that JAMB has just scammed a whole nation. That exam body would be sued into oblivion. JAMB 2012 exam 300x225 Aftermath: JAMB scams 1.5 Million Nigerian students again!I have heard a few parents complain about the inability of their wards, particularly the science students, to finish their papers. Again, this is Nigeria . It will remain at the level of complaints and murmur. Nobody would dare cut through the ice of subservience and sue the Board for this brazen act of mischief. Honestly what happened on today is a national scam and if the authorities at JAMB have any sense of responsibility, they should apologize to Nigerians or better still, cancel the exam. They should also offer a few explanations why they included these books in their syllables and failed to test the students based on them. But come to think of it, what JAMB did is not new. It is a small verse in a lengthy chapter of injustices visited on Nigerians by a skewed system that feasts on the poor to fatten the rich. There must have been a special agreement between the authors of these books and JAMB to fatten the pockets of both parties. Hello ladies in the house, greetings to everyone. I wish to share with you guys an answer to one of the recent questions submitted to me during consultation. A very interesting topic everyone might want to know. Men and women alike. A cross-analysis shows that in every 1000 girls aged between 20 and above, only about 5% still have their virginity untempered with. This concurs with the level of moral decadence, world-wide. Nigeria not an exception. A young girl, aged about 18 was heartbroken after her first se.xual experience and ran to my website to ASK WILFRED how she can regain her virginity after been torn apart by a rude guy. At first everyone (including you) thought it's impossible. But Wilfred, proved otherwise. Now let's see the briefing, I this article, I gave four (4) good ways through which you can regain that lost glory. 1. Hymenoplastry 2. The use of special virginal cream 3. The deceptive method 4. The biblical method All these four methods were treated and discussed well in my website. But due to time I will not write all but will leave you to read it up. Have a nice day!
