The world is truly a global village. I see they have issues. These clowns sent my children's Swing of 32 pounds by air after several emails to the contrary. I specifically requested the shipment should be made via Sea. Paid for split of my items....they never came back to me on the status....after several emails warning of extra storage charges if I do not pay...made a payment since the customer rep online could not come back with any serious response after 2 hours.....this was around 2AM Nigerian Time Suspected my payment was high due to the swing set up to go by air and sent an email afterwards that the swing should be sea shipped. The clowns came back to me days later that 'for subsequent shipments, please allow such requests to to be worked on before making payment for your shipment' Getting through to them is almost an impossibility...the last guy that spoke to me was even lying to me claiming I didn't send any email that the swing should be sent via sea. I am so irritated by their service. I'm so done with them. Will never attempt to use them again. Never |

Okay...just thought to add my 2 cents if it even matters...Still find it strange that folks will write off Sahara Reporters (SR) news as garbage....Whether you like it or not Sowore correctly called a lot of the events on the Yaradua illness and eventual power transition to GEJ. Those folks have very good leads in the Presidency. I have no doubts in my mind that there are lot of folks in the Presidency who are double dealing...Remember, Nigeria does not have a history of public resignations. Besides...the argument is you can only access such information from within... No one...I repeat no one should write off OBJ's talk...he is the spokesman for the retired military brass... I'm still at a loss....when did Nigeria become United States or other developed climes where journalists must reveal their sources....Nigeria has always been an unusual country and events in the next few weeks are no exceptions...Please pray for your country everyday...if you can fast....fast...what is going on is a fight to save Nigeria from destruction...if you were not born or old enough to read the events around June 12 1993...it's a good time to buy books or go online and educate yourself....the body language of your current president with his actions are clear...He does not plan to hand over power to his opponent...end of story... |
Hmmmm.....Interesting times...Lagos on the front burner. I like Jimi (JK) and like you all said....he is undoubtedly very articulate and intelligent. Probably will always be referred to as the governor Lagos never had. I think he made a mistake not staying in APC at the beginning. There is a way time and chance plays against individuals. I'm sure if he stayed he would have had a chance to prove his mettle in politics and probably have a shot at the governorship position now. Joining PDP to me was a sign of desperation. His ideas and personality does not fit with the clowns (Ogunlewe, George and Obanikoro) in Lagos PDP. Frankly, I don't know how he plans to govern Lagos without distractions with those 3 in his vicinity....It won't just work... Populist ideas like scrapping of the toll gate is good but won't take him too far. Unfortunately for him...he is running against a very sound and tested guy - Ambode whose accounting and finance background will play a pivotal role in the face of economic crisis hitting Nigeria. In all....JK is a very good candidate and will split the votes well but Ambode will probably win by a slim margin. |
Frankly...I'm not surprised with the arguments. It's okay. The General had no right to speak to her disrespectfully. Do I blame her for tweeting out there.... Is this not the same General who has misled us countless times on the BH operations in the North East? The other day they claimed Baga's casualty number was 150...Amnesty International has shown satellite imagery to disprove that number. Let's tell ourselves the truth. It is clear there are moles in this whole saga. At least GEJ has acknowledged this fact severally....So going this route for her may be the best assurance that action will be taken. If you have a child or children....you will understand what it means to lose a child. |
Lawyer.... I have always wanted to ask... Can you do us a small write up on the meaning of C of O, R/C Always wanted to know the difference between the terms. Which is more acceptable from a legal point of view. Thanks |

Interesting times for Nigeria.... Back in 2010....I told a couple of friends that change in Naija will be driven by social media / technology. What were u thinking.....in this age and time.....claiming to have gone to a school u did not attend... Why do I have a funny feeling GEJ's PhD may also be suspect...... For the folks crying fowl here....I think this is just the beginning... It's payback time for the jobless youths the clowns have created... Truly sad... |
...Tried reading thru a couple of comments here.... Good write ups no doubt.... By way of background...I studied Economics at graduate level and also an accountant.... Lived in the States a couple of years and back in Naija.... When you look at some of the policies folks in govt throw around...u feel sad for this country....This is one of those nights for me.... Yet again, we've just made the day for the folks in Benin and Togo ports.... Tariffs have never been known to work in countries with our kind of deficiencies.... The economic model we are trying to put in place is dead on arrival.... If you studied the telco sector well, u will notice how privatisation of GSM licenses opened the market space... The simple blocks are ....fix your power sector...embark on massive infrastructural development that will discourage the need for cars on the road....fix the rails...introduce speed rail....establish lasting reforms at the ports....fix your porous borders...adopt and follow through a policy that govt and its agencies will patronise local manufacturers and before u know it...the intended objective will be met... Just sad to see very well educated folks in govt missing the points... U just wonder why everything has to be different in this country.... Very sad... |
