Me, I have my own reservations abt dis guy called malnut Ooº°˚˚˚°º, i never buy am before witout meeting one bad one, and to make matas worst if the last one u hv been saving ur saliva for happens to be d bad one... Anyways, i enjoy it always...

Let me rephrase the question: "How do we recognize, or how do ladies recognize a guy that is engaged?" There are guys that engage a lady and date other ladies for years, and these ladies fall for such a without knowing he is engaged to another girl and he suddenly breaks there hearts when they realise his wedding is coming up soon to another lady he has been engaged to for quite a while because there is no sign that he is engaged. And this is different in the case of an engaged lady because any approaching guy first sights the engagement ring and takes caution on how to proceed.

My question now is; how should engaged guys be identified just like the female folks?

This thread is basically a question posed with your replies been personal and general conclusions can be drawn from these replies.

With regards to engagement between male and female towards marriage, and the putting of engagement ring on the female's hand as a sign of been engaged to a man not necessarily meaning they are married; which she could wear for as short or as long as possible... Basically sending away all other suitors to this lady because she has indicated she is engaged (but not married) to a man which doesn't wear his own sign of been engaged to a her.

Is dis fair enough to the female folks as well as what is the opinion of the male folks with reasons for which ever of the divide you fall under.

As for my stand; I wish they both wear engagement rings and take it off on their wedding day when they exchange it for wedding rings because a guy putting on an engagement ring notifies other female folks that this guy already has a lady he is engaged to and is not available just like the lady on the other side. What's your opinion

I appreciate you OP for opening this thread. You are citing this even as a passerby; just imagine the agony the residents of this area go through. As a matter of fact; I stay in that area and back in the days, from FCE second gate to Total is just 20mins; but now because of the VERY bad state of the roads; you could spend close to 1hr or more with your life so endangered because you are so scared of these big vehicles falling on your own vehicle. Now that I stay in lagos; I so dont enjoy going back home; because of that bad road. What amazes me most is the fact that; this said road is the only major road to the Federal capital territory; implying that so many government officials ply this same road almost on a daily basis as there is no airport between FCT and Kogi state; yet FERMA isnt doing anything to savage the situation permanently. Weather they are waiting for so much more lives to be lost (as it has caused many accidents and claimed lives of students of FCE, Okene) before they do something or maybe till it makes a bad news headline before they do something; I honestly have no idea. BUT THERE IS GOD......

I finished serving feb 14, 2014,decided to rest trout the month of feb before applying for any job at all and dat was in warri because i held too many positions during my nysc. O boi, after one week, rest tire me, na so i send application to so so many companies in my field (make i no even try mention the total number of application i sent), after three days, i got an invite in lag; i called and postponed it to the next day, packed a few of my belongings, went to lag and did d interview. As a mata of fact dose funny guys haven't gotten back to me; anyways, as i was still awaiting dere feedback, i got a call and he person said, he got my mail seeking for a placement and dat his company doesn't hv but that he heard abt one company seeking for my field and that he will send me a mail containing who i should contact, na so i thank the unknown caller till date, called up the manager from the mail i was sent and he booked an appointement wit me next day, did test and passed, moved to interview and negotiation and collected my letter around first of march, den told dem i will resume wen am ready (lol), went to play wit my friends in lag for two weeks because no playing days if u working in lag, and on march 11 i started working. So boTtom line, i job hunted for like a week or so...

Funny a the topic may sound to so many, it is not to me. First of all, I am a corp member currently serving and a graduate of computer science, I wish to work in the telecoms industry in nigeria and I have never really lived in the big cities where these companies are located. I have made so much research about high paying jobs but I am currently stock with which to choose between Software Engineering and Computer Networks at ♍ÿ̲̣ masters level abroad next year. I want a course that can help me get a job easily as well as a back up just in case the job doesn't come quick, I could set up on ♍ÿ̲̣ own.
