Good day All,

I need some help and would appreciate thoughts of those familiar with the Canadian visa process.

I did my biometrics in 2022 and got a visa which expired this year. I have applied for another visa and received a letter to submit my passport yesterday. I didn’t request for a new biometric since the current one expires in 2032. One of the instructions on the VAC website is to bring biometric sticker if applicable. Is the biometric sticker applicable to me? If yes, where can I get the old sticker? I have the old biometric instruction letter but not the sticker. Will appreciate thoughts and suggestions

No it wasn't, I just downloaded it from the bank app as you can easily request for your statement directly from the app instead of going to the bank.

Good morning I just got a refusual but I am sure it's wrong because I submitted documents to backup the points I was rejected for via web form and I am sure that was not used.

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by
paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/
section-179.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will
leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel
for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the
details you have provided in your application.

How can I appeal this decision?

Please if you get a passport submission notice , do you have to take your children (5yrs, 3yrs & 20months old) with you to VFS for drop off or you can just go with your spouse and take the passports of the children along with us when going to submit

Do they need to sight the children in-person. Note that the children were exempted from biometrics because of their age so only my spouse and I went for biometrics then.

DIY is cool if u got POF.
Some use agent cos some agent provide all and urs is only to be present at biometrics center.
As much as their are scammers everywhere, their are still good agents. Not everyone wants to rack there brain. Or sit with Lappy or phone.
Do what works for you… not all agent are scammers.
I know people use agent and got positive outcome, so also people who diy and got positive…. Likewise opposite… diy with large POF yet denied… agent with 1000years visa experience yet denied… all is grace…
