Hi all, please I and my 3 other friends used an agent for a visa processing to Canada, he told us the visa has been approved but he did not tell us the type of visa either visit or work permit. Now he said because one of us is almost due to give birth that it is better to wait after delivery so we all can go for the visa collection in group. I don’t know if he is right or just buying time

My friend just come out of the embassy now. They asked him a lot of questions. Even gave him 3 mathematics questions to answer, lol.
They gave him empty map of Europe to fill, they asked how he got to know the company and if he has spoken to them. How did he submit his CV to them. How much he's earning in Nigeria presently and how much he will be paid at Poland.
The truth is that its only God can determine who gets a visa from Polish embassy. Again he said they were less than 10 names on the appointment list for today.
His passport collection date is on 19th.

The next draw is tomorrow on 1st January 2022 pray to be among those invited.
Hopefully No more "we regret to inform you that your application was not drawn" in Jesus name.

I really want my interview to be this January because I planned to leave latest February ending I don't want to remian here beyond that February.

The thing feels hopeless because from this point on all you can do is wait While more and more people keep getting added to the draw, a draw that only happens one time every 7 days with an undisclosed number of people selected that's even if the embassy isn't on holidays and have to push those already drawn to another week

I was in favour of this draw because the calling was too stressful and too time consuming and energy consuming and fraustrating with soooo many rumours of fraud and payment for dates.

But hopefully next year things will improve its very likely that they had already reached their yearly capacity since October 2021.

Because they kept complaining or saying that people were suddenly interested in Poland this year 2021 it seemed they were overwhelmed or something, and the thing affected all polish embassies in third world countries (Nigeria, Kenya, India etc) all the embassies weren't granting interviews normally and frequently again from that October even to students many of them are still complaining they weren't even considering people coming from Ghana and Cameroon to the polish embassy in Nigeria or those going from Uganda and elsewhere to the polish embassy in Kenya. It was just excuses upon excuses and frequent change of procedure of visa interview.

Hopefully next year we will be amongst those interviewed early when the yearly quota thing is starting afresh. Before the may-june and September admission people come and flood the whole place claiming priority.

I also heard something like change of consular or one post like that at the Abuja embassy hopefully that will also be in our favour.

My younger sister is planning to travel to Bulgaria with a tourist visa by December 2021.
Her husband is her sponsor but her husband stays and work in UK . My sister is a nurse here in Nigeria and they have a daughter together. She will be traveling alone.

Please what documents does she need to submit and since she has a sponsor will there be need for her to submit her statement of account because she doesn't have much money in her account.

Despite the fact that I made mistakes in the visa application form. I received an email for visa appointment scheduled for Wednesday 27th October. My agent advised me not to go because of the errors on the application

You should check polish embassy at your country of residence. Some don't need bank statement when applying for work visa.

Also why can't they use courier service which the applicants will pay for just to make there delivery simple. That as what other embassies do. But they chose to suffer us on our soil. Now I just got the name of Nigerian ambassador to Poland and would like any internet geek to explain how we can get the social media handle of this folks so that by stressing them they can intervene on our behaves. The things we need help for will be : help students get refunded, work permit interview scheduled on time, passport collection easy. Fish out fake work permit company by giving us a list of registered companies in Poland.

A friend received positive confirmation of permit and after filling form, they said Permit has expired.

This was a permit that was entered into the system on 30.08.2021.

So it expires less than 2 months after??

Apparently, its a planned thing from these Polish people.

My own agent said she will make the online visa registration appointment on my behalf. I have already received the email, Confirmation that your preliminary visa application has been activated. I am waiting for the positive verification of the document entitling me to work in Poland

Now, you people should remember the last time that i warned everyone not to get close to to sergienko lawyers at all.
Imagine how i was seriousely tacked then that no agent's name should be mentioned.
Now, see the result. One of our nairalanders who based in turkey categorically told me that he personally sent someone to check tsve office for him in ukraine but on getting there, he only met a private primary school there.
the office does not exist at all.
Assuming this has been posted before, the way i warned everyone about sergienko lawyer. I think this guy would have been saved.
Everyone should get me clear, we are in the information age. How would someone say that one should not mention agents name and when you know that they are fraud. And if any agent is doing well, let everyone has freedom by mentioning the agents name. But by telling the house that one should do his reseach at the back personally without asking from anyone that had dealing with such agent before is not good enough.
Now, for the sake of others that are planning to use "invitation in ua" God saved you if you are reading my article now because, they are fraud. I have used them and they sent fake documents to me. Only God saved me bcs i am yet to send the second part of the payment.
Now everyone in the house now knows that tsve, invitation in ua and sergienko lawyers are no go area.
An agents name should only be banned if it is for marketing but people should be free to share their experience as to save others from any pitfall. It is bcs we need timely information and that is why we are here. And as a nigerian, we all have the right to freedom of information and i think that the law on nairaland is also subject to the law of federal republic of nigeria. Then, why must we cage ourself?
I think it will be very bad for someone to be a member of this unique, enlightened and educated forum and still be falling into the hands of fraudster just in the name of not mentioning agents.
If any agent is good, let everyone knows why they are good to you and if any agent is bad, let everyone knows why they are bad to you.
Only the agents advertisement should be banned.

The reason why I gave up on the Poland is because of the new stupid Law of cancelling permit if u don't lodge an application at the Embassy/immigration within 3 months of issuing the permit. Look at how that useless embassy makes appointment difficult thereby making even your permit expire in your hand. Its Just sad.
