Many Nairalanders are right. While it looks good on paper that Lagos will resemble london, the truth is that in 30 yrs i doubt if Lagos will look london. What the govt needs is both short range plan and long range plan. On the long range you can fund transit. However, on the short range what we have is Danfos, okadas and kekes. Even tho these may not be the best option, they solve some transportation problems and reduce demand on BRT, private car owners etc. What is needed for danfos, okadas and kekes is standardizing their operations. Setting minimum standards for conditions of their vehicles and operations, providing commercial license category for these drivers and riders and gradually phasing them out to new systems in the long range transportation plan.

There's stupidity written all over your post.....You 're obviously a pdp supporter whom should bury their head in shame,if they did well who will think of having an option??what is even APC to start with 80 percent of them are former pdp members and you want to stir up sentiments. It isn't about party it is about realizing that these politicians are our problem whether qpq or zpp. We need to get entirely people who have Nigeria at heart. Pdp killed n murdered Nigeria and you want to act like they're saints. Whether pdp or Apc the outcome will be same.
