1. Why should he give any solutions?

2. Does Atiku work for Tinubu?

3. I thought Tinubu said he wanted to be president to find solutions to Nigerias problems?

4. Why does he now need Atiku to give him solutions for the problem he created himself?

5. If you are expecting solutions from Atiku, are you suggesting Tinubu got it wrong?

6. If you read the article and if you understood it, you would have see6the alternative that should have been done.

7. with all the hype about Tinubu being a "trategist", am yet to see any meaningful strategy. What is happening?

Criticisms without providing a feasible alternative is simply stupid...

There is no magic wand to the situation on ground...

It need inputs from all stakeholders...

Increasing production and exports is not ideal with the situation on ground...

Nigeria is broke.. .

Just a few months into Tinubu Admin...

It has to be stabilized through NNPC. The oil imports are putting too much pressure on the newly deregulated FOREX market. It's good & creative way to stabilize the dollar demand.

The naira freefall can't be allowed to continue cos it will increase petrol prices. When the refieries are working and we don't need dollars to import fuel, the demand on dollar will reduce and the loan will be removed.

Nigeria can't afford for fuel prices to rise further. It will increase inflation. The president did the right thing. Atikus guys just pissed he made dt choice. They were loving the disaster that was about to happen.

Dont mind that goat.

He criticised Tinubu efforts...

yet could not give any solution to the problem.

Why didn't Nigeria suffer so hard when the kerosene subsidy ended?

Tinubu is not the first to end a subsidy regime. Diesel subsidy ended and companies didn't pack up. President Tinubu was ill-prepared for the job and nothing else.

The lack of due process sank the Economy by declaring an end to subsidy on PMO when he still had a month to study the way out but overzealousness wouldn't allow him to take advice from his predecessors.

Poor Folks using kerosine had alternatives...charcoal ... firewood..gas...

Folks using diesel also had alternatives (Move to PMS or settle NEPA in their environs)

No alternative to PMS...

While i agree with you on the rush to end subsidy by the FG...

We all knew that there is no budget to pay for subsidy since PMB never made provision for it...

Does not really matter who is the President

D poor governance of past years is fully back to haunt us.

It is a sign of inevitability... wink

The solution is functioning refineries be it regular or modular refineries[/quote

It takes time to fix a functional refinery..
Modular refinery cant come up in six months..
Meanwhile, we spend 90 percent of revenue on debt servicing..
Thats the problem

Temporary subsidy on petroleum is not the way to go. Government should try and sanitize the purchase and supply chain associated with the diesel and PMS business. The inherent corruption should be addressed

How do you address the inherent corruption ?

tinubu's major problem in the economy management is dangote who has refused to begin operation of his long awaited refinery project....

if he (dangote) does, then petrol import will stop... foreign exchange will b saved..huge demand for FX will decline...supply of FX will begin by major private firm....then naira and everything else will stabilize

1.Why should we wait for Dangote...?

2. Fix the available refineries...

3.Or sell them to someone that can make it functional.

4.We dont need soothsayers to tell us these facts.

We don't need these wars.
Ecowas nations should not allow tinubu desperation for power move them to take the wrong decision. It will backfire.

Going to fight our own brothers because of this is stupidity.

Tinubu is a man that is so desperate for power. He is willing to do anything to hold on to power even if it means an unnecessary war.

Nigeria today is under the seige of a political coup. A coup against the constitution of a country is worse than a military coup.

Tinubu knows he does not have a chance with the cases in court. He is willing to do anything that will in anyway aid his political coup in Nigeria.

Tinubu does not have the moral right to engage Niger. The africa union should engage democratic leaders like Goodluck Jonathan, ruto of kenya, zambia president or any african leader who has a good personal record of democracy .
Pmb would have been one to lead such delegation to our brothers in niger unfortunately he is one of major players of the coup we presently have in Nigeria and so has no moral strength to engage the coup plotters in niger.

Nigeria had the greatest opportunity to become the role model of democracy for fellow africa nations in our presidential elections but the evil and miscreants politicians and corrupt INEC officials destroyed it.
Lets hope the judiciary will restore the dignity of our nation.

U guys take things too serious in Naija..
Do U seriously think Tinubu want to start a war...
Thats the way a President thinks...and act..
Send it to the NA and let the people representatives reject the request...
D whole world knows Tinubu has done the needful...
