1. The price increases are necessary, as electricity is expensive after all

2. There are still losses. Due to lack of payment , shortfalls of18- 22% are still present

Add the fact that only 20% of the customer base in theory pays market price

3.Yeah, they collected 792 billion naira in three months. Nice until you realize that the sector as a whole needs 15 trillion naira annually to guarantee 24 hours light supply to the people on the grid at the moment

4. At the end, we should stop longing for free electricity and accept that it is an expensive thing. South Africans have constant increase on power bills and they can't afford them and power cuts still happen there.


All in all, we can't have free electricity. Any government that promises simple solutions to our power problem is lying. Like apc did with fashola and rocket scientific system. It is going to take a lot of money and a lot of investment and people paying market price and those whom cannot afford getting cut off before we see power

And yes we can do power free of charge. USSR did it, at the expense of a debt that added to other debts left them in bondage to the IMF and led to it's collapse.

You can call me a apc supporter or use ad homiens, or you can acxept the bitter truth. In 2013 , I was forced to accept the bitter truth.

We need to move to rail transportation...
Its faster...cheaper... and affordable for the masses..
Lagos Blue Line transports 2.37 million passenger in 15months...
It also reduce the stress on existing roads... makin them last longer ....
Reduce rural urban migration...
Masses will me from urban areas to rural areas sine there is an effective rail system.
It will also ease up transportation of agric produce around the country at an affordable price ..

Just pray you don't experience such kind of a child or guardian. I have one at home, she steals ( not small money o...) lie, all sort of evil. Even attempted to rape a neighbor's child.

We have taken her for counseling, healing and all. We have resorted to rehabilitation center now, hopefully it will help.

Just pray you don't encounter such kids, it's a very bad experience.

The funny thing is, she's not the only child staying with us but she's the only one that is a problem. They are all treated well and catered for but you see this one ( she has the spirit of greed, and ojukokoro)
