RomanceRe: Wife Material: Intelligent Girl Or Gentle Girl by willorie(f): 9:23am On Jul 23, 2014
GentleMimi: Intelligent woman all the way,no argument there.
I'll choose intelligence over gentility. Gentle peeps could be wickedly dangerous, you know? The intelligent woman knows how to handle situations as it deems fit. The man can go out and confidently leave his home in the intelligent woman's care.
The intelligent woman influences the children too. Makes them smart and active.
God forbid, but if the man passes away, the intelligence of the woman is needed for her children to make it in life with the few available resources.
The intelligent woman is not necessarily bossy or arrogant, just a lady who knows what she wants and then goes about achieving it in the easiest ways possible.
The man cannot be at his peak at all times in terms of mental capability. Sometimes,he needs a mentally strong woman to give him the required push.
Note: it is only strong men that take up the challange of an intelligent woman. Weak men want ''gentle'' pushovers, whom they can control like puppets on strings.
am amazed dude abi chick.........hope u're not just saying it for saying seak...as in, is ur IQ as intelligent & Impressive as ur comment

RomanceRe: Can True Love Exist In Poverty ? by willorie(f): 7:28pm On Jul 22, 2014
Largas: It depends on the level of poverty. If it is so low, it might be difficult for the relationshop to survive(this is however, dependent on the characters/personalities involved in the relationship/marriage)
However, relationship/marriage is more enjoyable when there is adequate finance.
Gbam!

Yarn them "relationship/marriage is more enjoyable when there is adequate finance" & dat's the truth weather u guys agree or not

okparaugo: Boys become extra cautious around beautiful girls.

Ladies become extra cautious around handsome guys though some ladies don't give shyyte. Those in secure relationships who naturally are not oliver twists.

Woman has to be extra pretty for me to notice but that doesn't change any of my behaviours around you. Nah hungry man go dey act for babe to notice am. Girls have an eye for quality though some of them can be swindled with fakeness.

I was watching one guy inside bank the other day. The girl that walked into the counting room is very young but too beautiful. She looked like a picture culled from the internet. Her asset had no rivalry. Nah so this cash officer just come dey behave nice to all the staff inside the counting room. I laugh for my mind since we have been there already.
Lol
dn't mind the fake cash officer, l was there that day nao.......but that girl asset get rivalry oooo......it's just like mua own ;-)

It's not responsible, proper & appropriate too for a man to be at home & be taking care of the house while the wife is the only one putting food on the table.....Haba! There'll be no respect nao & it'll aspire to sumting else......such a man ain't a "MAN" to me

humnsikan: Someone exclaimed, "I'm I still living in Nigeria?! Never have I, in terms power outage and restoration, had it this good." Since last week, Akwa Ibom has been enjoying a consistent 20 to 22hr power supply per day. It is indeed record breaking, and I want to know if it's the same in your area. We are hoping that before the year runs out, the rate of power outage would have decreased to, say, < 3hrs/week. So go on, let's know how it goes there.
yes ooo.....Akwa Ibom State has been having consistent light for the last one week now & I hope for it to continue that way
SportsRe: FIFA Suspends Nigeria by willorie(f): 1:02pm On Jul 10, 2014
LMAyedun: FIFA suspends Nigeria

The FIFA Emergency Committee has decided Wednesday to suspend the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) with immediate effect, on account of government interference. Article 13, par. 1 and article 17, par. 1 of the FIFA Statutes oblige member associations to manage their affairs independently and with no influence from third parties.

The decision follows a letter sent by FIFA to the NFF on 4 July, in which it expressed its great concern after the NFF was served with court proceedings and consequently an order preventing the president of the NFF, the NFF Executive Committee members and the NFF Congress from running the affairs of Nigerian football was granted by a High Court of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The said court order compelled the Nigerian Minister of Sports, Tamino Danagogo to appoint a senior member of the civil service to manage the NFF until the matter was heard in court, without giving any date for such a hearing. The authorities then appointed a person who decided to convene an extraordinary general assembly on 5 July 2014. This extraordinary general assembly was convened in violation of the NFF statutes.

Originally, an elective congress had been planned by the NFF to take place on 26 August 2014.

The suspension will be lifted once the court actions have been withdrawn and the properly elected NFF Executive Committee, the NFF general assembly and the NFF administration are able to work without any interference in their affairs.

As a result of this decision, no team from Nigeria of any sort (including clubs) can have any international sporting contact (art. 14 par. 3 of the FIFA Statutes). During the period of suspension, the NFF may not be represented in any regional, continental or international competitions, including at club level, or in friendly matches.

The most immediate effect is that Nigeria will not be entitled to participate in the upcoming FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup (5-24 August 2014) should the suspension not be lifted by 15 July 2014.

In addition, neither the NFF nor any of its members or officials may benefit from any FIFA or CAF development programmes, courses or training during the suspension period.

RomanceRe: What Things In Common Do You Have With Your Partner? by willorie(f): 10:48am On Jul 09, 2014
ubong560: Fun time! Let it start

Most partners in love have some interesting thing in common btwn themselves.

I had a friend whose girlfriend was a book freak, loved church, loved cooking, liked crying with any little thing etc. These were all the guy liked doing too. Also had a friend whose gf liked partying, smoking/drinking, watching football etc and the guy liked all these too.

I love reading/writing, watching football, eating ripe plantain, playing Ludo, badmouthing etc, surprisingly, these are things my girlfriend likes too.

I've seen couples whose thing in common ranges from reading, acting, singing, art-working (drawing) etc and these have helped to keep them in the union so perfectly. They even use this thing in common to settle thier misunderstandings when they have such. Share yours!
Me & mua BF like privacy alot, hate face-me-I-Face-U compound, likes James Bond's 007 movies & watch news too both foreign & local

Welrez: We just have to stop this nonsense. If it was a behaviour displayed only by children, it would have been easy to comprehend. It is an anomaly for an adult to indulge in such a puerile act. It might mislead an alien to think we are still in the Stone Age.

I am referring to this our condemnable habit of shouting NEPA whenever power is restored. I am short of words to describe this show of shame. Even now that the body of NEPA has been laid to rest, we have continued to invoke its spirit to haunt the extant power companies. And as if to corroborate my suspicion of an uncannily diabolical nexus between the gone and the existing, the shout of NEPA is usually crowned with an ephemeral stay of power before returning us to pits of darkness.
