2special:He asked that I do this for him. It wasn't my idea. Thanks |
Happy Sunday Nairalanders. I'm posting this on behalf of a neighbour and he is reading and seeing your advices and contributions as a guest. He recently got married about 3 months ago. According to him, his wife is not the pretentious type, sometimes stubborn but also hardworking. Something happened today that has got him thinking. They usually do laundries together, and he does the washing while she rinses and spreads. They brought out their dirty cloths and cottons for laundry this morning and after she soaked the cottons, she asked him to soak the cloths which he obliged. He hasn't finished soaking it when he noticed that she is struggling with the cottons, and he asked her to leave the cottons for him and come over to finish the soaking of the cloths he was doing, she told him playfully but point-blank that she won't touch the cloths. He thought it was a joke, he took over the cottons and after soaking it, he found out that she has been dodging the cloths. She refused touching it. He got upset and left the laundry, she took over the cotton. When he later came out, he took the cotton from her and helped her rinse them to spread. As he was doing this, she entered the house and start bathing. When he enquired, she said she has finished washing, and if he can't wash the cloths, he should park them inside. My neighbour was stunned. He got angry and went into the house leaving the cloths outside. For sometime now, he has been thinking what action to take and how to address such issue. He wants to know if this is just stubbornness or is there something he is Ignorant of. |
Nooneonline:Hmmmm, what is your advice? |
Hello Nairalanders, I need your advice on how best to handle this matter. A friend of mine parked into a neighbourhood some months ago. She said when she parked in, there was no line for drying cloths, and she paid a wielder to make one for her. She kept it at her backyard which is also accessible to other neighbours. But this particular neighbour's wife is fond of washing everyday, while my friend washes one's in 2 weeks. Whenever my friend washes, this other lady comes out to wash and thereby inconveniencing her. Ones they nearly fought but for the intervention of my friend's hubby. Now two days ago the same incident repeated and my friend's hubby wants to remove the line. But my friend is pleading with him to leave it because she needs it. Right now he left it but my friend is really confused on what to do, because that is the only line in the yard and she doesn't want to stop people from using it. She sought my advice. |
I think this man is testing the waters. He is aware of the people's mind towards him concerning being a better Presidential hopeful. The pendulum may swing towards his direction, and I hope he takes advantage of this moment to endear himself to Nigerian. I see a great President in this guy. He has the carriage, aura and intelligence. I just wish we all can drop our tribal sentiments and political leanings to support this man to reposition this country. Though I'm neither PDP nor APC, neither am I from his tribe, but I prefer this Adeshina to the crop of politicians we have at the moment. |
Phoenix616:Please don't waste your time replying that moniker. He or she is one of the reason we have a Buhari ruling this country in this 21st century. Honestly sometimes I feel so ashamed sharing the same country with such humans. My brother we can only pray, hope and do our own bits to bring our desired change to this country. Hunger has really messed up a lot of people's psyche. They no longer think well. Maybe the person you are quoting is also a victim of the hunger malady. Ignore him. Thanks |
My people, no matter our political divides and leaning, some things are not to be ignored. The picture above says a lot about our country and how our President is being perceived. Honestly I'm not happy seeing this pictures. This really shows how far we have deteriorated as a country. Looking at Adeshina, you can't but imagine if someone of that caliber and education is our President, how this country will be perceived and respected. Honestly I feel so ashamed that in this 21st century, someone of PMB caliber is what we can show to the world as our beacon of hope. Why can't we have an Adeshina or Godfrey Onyeàmà or even a young vibrant and educated Northerner that knows what the world is talking about? Just look at the way Adeshina is seated and sharing ideas with intelligent leaders. Honestly this pictures really sends some deep thoughts within me. Which way Nigeria? |
Bossjakande:No dear, didn't see this on any blog, it's real. |

Dear Nairalanders, A friend of mine is having issues with his wife because he does not wear his wedding ring often. She has even threatened him that she would stop wearing hers too,to which upsets this friend of mine. He explained that it makes him uncomfortable sometimes wearing the ring and so doesn't see any trouble in his resolve not to wear it always. It doesn't mean he is cheating or something. He is asking to know if it's a must to wear his ring always and if it has any spiritual implications. Matured response and advice needed. |
The slang name is Hospital too far |

May God deliver us from poor judgments that would scuttle our chances of success. Honestly I'm deeply touched by his submission about Atiku. I got a whole lot of message from that. As for Tinubu, he is the owner of Lagos and its political structure. And by extention some SW states. His position is well spelled out, except OBJ just wanted to feign ignorance. God help the Nigeria electorates in her choice of president next year. Personally I'm troubled. |
Hope this is not just on paper? We trying to recover from APC scam, so we don't need another foreign scam. |
abokibuhari:And you, who are you? E-mumu I guess. Hiding behind keyboard to insult your leader makes you childish and uncouth. He is someone's father and grandad, show some respect. |
This is the plain and bitter truth. I wonder how the very people that shamelessly abandoned the man even before his death are now rushing to feast on his memory and legacy. MKO fought and died alone. Nobody should even claim to be for him today. Everyone, including family abandoned this man and started romancing with the evil regime that incaserated him and the one that eventually killed him. Please where is that spirit that slapped Rochas, we have some job for him/her. |
Where is the struggle in this pics? All I see is a young man trying to appear in a pics with a potential president. In other words, Shehu Sani was famzing.I guess you are telling the Presidency to allocate you your own GCE abi GCON. Hehehehe |
I'm not surprised a bit. Only a visit to their constituencies will show you the kind of politicians we have. Non of them is for the masses, I repeat NON. |
This is no news. The politically savvy knew of your impending implosion even before the 2015 general elections. We are not certain about the time,I guess it's now near. |
Indeed scandals can make or mar you, depending on how you handle it. Kim is a perfect example of such success story. Good hearts are sometimes hidden in patched bodies. The last can become the first indeed.Kudos to her. |
Wow, that's lovely. So who receives the accolades now? Nike, Nigeria or..........? Anyway it's a good start. I believe the Super Eagles will have a glorious mudial. Let's leverage on this to give them the support they need and also project our country in good light. Buhari and APC supporters should please stay away from this and not turn this beautiful Jersey and moment into a campaign Jersey as it'll erode every goodwill it's supposed to attract. My one cent. |
Grace and mercy comparison is like asking, the chicken and the egg which came out first. Without mercy you can't access grace, and without grace you can't be bold to come before the Father and ask for mercy. Nobody should try to make one greater than the other because the Bible never did. They work together. Grace gives boldness to come to the Father and also the ability to rise after a fall into sin. It helps you in your faith walk. Mercy gives liberty and peace to serve God without guilt. Thanks |
These are countries with strong and functional institutions. Sometimes I'm tempted to think that we should plead with one of these civilised and developed countries to come and recolonise us. I just feel that Nigeria was a premature baby and still need to be weaned. I pray we get it right someday before things go beyond repair. |
It's so unfortunate that we have degenerated to this level as a people and Nation. Most times I watch the youths of this Nation and I just shed tears because I see a whole bunch of corrupt souls. I'm not a fan of Pst. Chris, I don't go to his church or even Identify with him, but then that doesn't mean that I should not respect him as a clergy. Imagine what the supposed future leaders of the Nation are spewing from their mind as regards a kind gesture from a father in the Lord. Ada is not the first and only member of Christ Embassy I've read in this forum that Pst. Chris has blessed with such gift. I remember reading about Frank Edward's own car sometime ago. Please my fellow citizens, let us be cautious in our speeches and actions towards this servants of God.They have a Master and they are answerable to Him. Please let's be warned. God is love and also a consuming fire, so says the Scriptures. Thanks |
I was expecting this anyway, but then it's not the kind of reply I was expecting. Wike's government should reply, I know they would. Nigeria with bunch of jokers and heartless individuals as leaders playing politics with people's lives. God have mercy on us |
Is this for real? If true, then I ask, is this stupidity sexually transmitted or hereditary? The Fayose's really need spiritual and psychological checkup. |
If true, Rip to a legend and icon. He came, he saw and he conquered. He lived a fulfilled life. God rest his soul. My condolences to the good people of Zimbabwe. |
Hahahahaha aha hahahahaha, anyway I'm not surprised. If PMB can forget his age, what's the big deal about a dead man whom he may not even be the one that signed the condolence? Abeg make una leave Pa Buhari for us ọ. 2019 no far again. Hahahahahaha |
chesterlee:I was waiting to see if anyone caught the drift Jude was making and only you did. Psquare are the two elder brothers he is talking about, because they don't listen to him as the elder, so he equates them to be his elders. Indeed the guys are not kids, so people shouldn't blame Jude so much for their squabbles, moreover they are all married and their wives have some influence over their decisions. Not forgetting they also have kids, so every dicission they make should be in the interests of of their immediate families. People should let these guys be bikonu |
Now this is skull mining. Diversification of the economy I guess. Good we are moving away from oil to other sectors. Bravo |
