Are they planning on going to war with Nigeria because of the border closure? What is our concern about the efficiency and organisation of the army of a country that is less than Lagos State in population? We are not concerned. Train your business men and women to be competitive in business and stop trying to use draconian laws to chase foreigners away from your markets. That's what you need, not military efficiency. Thanks |
Sometimes I wonder how less than 100,000 security operatives of a country is able to instill fear and intimidation on more than 160 million people. How can so few people decide to make the whole Nation a subject of mockery and feel good and untouchable about it? What is really going on in this country? Are we back to military days? What did GEJ do that APC hasn't multiplied? Why is one man and few hawks around him having a feel day destroying every gain Democracy has made before their accension? Our institutions has been destroyed and laws balkanized. Honestly I weep for my country Nigeria. We have never had it so bad. But one thing I believe is that this evil will not linger. It cannot continue. |
Yes he was, because at that time no one in his position in the country was worst than him in governance just as Buhari is worst now. It's an ugly precedence. |
You are in the wrong site, wrong country people for such and wrong advice. This is a Nigerian forum and if we catch you eh, na sorry go be your name. Oya carry your end time spirit shift before we close your border now. |
Was he banned from coming before? He is very much allowed to come, but it is the going that we need to talk about. Let him come and bury his parents, and after that let him tell us how he escaped the python. |
Osinbanjo is fighting back subtly. He is endorsing what his boss will find nauseating (Fela deserving National honours) and rejecting what his boss finds needful ( No need to monitor the media). Something is actually brewing, we are watching. All I know is that it will be for our good as citizens. |
Fallen heroes wives? Abacha a hero? Hmmmmm, Ịdị Amin would've been a diety if he was from Nigeria then. Anyway that's for another day. To the main topic, hmmmmmm, really? Wow that's nice to hear. Please someone should remind me again who has this infamous quote, 'No matter how poor we become, we will never be as poor as Dangote'. |
Better. Even though I know Nigerian policians to lie and retract what they said or did, it's better he retracts it now before it destroys every goodwill he has among sane Nigerians that are observing the political terrain. I believe he said it, but maybe in anger. Let's forgive him and move on. Umahi maybe an ass licker but he is using it well for the betterment of his people. Some say he is doing it to position himself for 2023,for me it's a win-win for the people of Ebonyi. In fact I'll like every governor in every state to compete on infrastructural developments, so that we choose the best performing governor among them to be president of the Nation or what do you people think? |
This Kegame seems to be the only President in Africa so far with his head on his neck. The man is miles ahead of this other dinosaurs and ancestors ruling Africa. Not forgetting the other Owambe youth in Liberia that is busy celebrating a win in ludo competition. Kegame has been engaging and brilliant so far. That's what you get when you vote in patriotic men, than vengeful lots with analogue mentality. APC deceived Nigerians with their change mantra, now it is next level, yet we can't manufacture pencil. God help us. |
Mr Governor, in as much as I understand your fury, please don't go that way. You know that our military personnels are already trigger happy, and don't respect the citizens life, your call to shoot will be abused and your polical foes will use it against you. You don't use brute force to bring order. No matter your giant strides in infrastructural developments, killing and maiming your people will make your reign end on bad note. Remember, you won't be governor forever. In other news, I admire your courage and good works. |
Why do I have the feeling that the focus and pendulum is about swinging to this man. Osibanjo's men and some ministers that are not comfortable with happenings in Aso Rock are about pitching Nigerians against this guy. Some persons are about to fight dirty. All his intrigues and power plays are about being revealed and this will unsettle some members of the cabal. Some persons are out to cut the head of the serpent. 2023 fight is about to get messier. Bringing this guy's matter up is not just for fun or information. Them wan reason him matter. Watch out. |
Sirjamo:My brother if you believed what you just spewed out here, then I know Nigeria has a bigger problem in her masses than her leaders. 15million relected who? Where? I supported PMB in 2015,and I know how that has panned out not just for me but also many others I see day to day. So please don't ever tell anyone that 15million Nigerians relected this government, except you want to include cows and merchinaries from Chad and Niger. The zombies that voted this government is not upto 2million. The election of Feb was the worst ever conducted since the return of democracy. Thanks |
It is better to sleep behind the wheels than to be lifeless(dead) behind the boot. |
It's a lie,he went to bring back the Abacha loot we were told of last week. APC is a party of saints and angels, please nobody should drag them into any dent and corruption. Even their head man is a pope. Please they should release the young man ASAP, we need that Abacha loot to settle some national emergency. Thanks |
APC should keep quiet on this matter, except they just want to use it to douse tension and distract the gullible from their glaring incompetence and in house fighting concerning 2023. APC should be ashamed of themselves for trying to feast on the lies of a failure such as David Cameron. I thought Buhari promised to bring back the girls by 6 months after being voted in? I thought the quota system general said he will lead from the offensive? I thought he took loan of 1billion dollars to wage the war against Boko Haram? What is the current update of the war? How swift have they acted on recent kidnappings and abductions going on in the North? I thought I just read that PMB said he was surprised by the xenophobic attack? Does that account for the lacklustre behaviour of his government during the massacre? If so, what's the difference between his response and GEJ's? I may not be a fan of GEJ, but APC should not act all saints before sensible Nigerians because we know how much they have made GEJ's administration look like the best we ever had. Compared to GEJ's administration, APC has failed woefully. They promised change but rather we saw chains, now they promised Next level and all we are witnessing is next evil. Please APC should face their maladministration and allow GEJ clear his name against a bookseller that is looking for buyers to deceive. Make I stop here for now. |
Yupng:Madam, sorry that I had to quote you, but I want you to know that most of us that made sarcastic comments or pseudo support comment about this Sowore issue are not doing it because we like what the young man is going through. I for one, I'm not in support of the tyrannical tendencies of this maladministration, but then you can't blame anyone but Sowore himself for being so daft and dumb to organise a revolution against a government he contested election against and lost. Tell me, who does that? Sowore is not sincere. All I see in this matter is polical romance gone wrong. Sowore should come clean and tell us the truth what transpired. I for one believe that he may have been promised some political appointment or something to water down the other opposition parties chances, and his partners in crime reneged after election, which forced him into convening one rubbish protest. Believe me, this government has Sowore where they want him. They wouldn't be this hard on him if it was just some honest protest. They know what transpired that me and you don't. So Sowore should get ready to dance the dance of the Spirits that he entangled himself in. He knows the truth. He that must come to equity must come with clean hands. Thanks |
Did I just read that Pa Awo was organising secretary of NURTW? So agbero job is not demeaning as I thought. Wow, such a pedigree. MC Oluomo has hope of running this country then. Please don't quote me wrongly, it's my candid observation from the write up. Back to the topic, who is still proud of being the founding father (s) of this failed British experiment? Even the country itself is showing that it never had a father, and we are here forcing paternity on it. Please please please allow the dead to sleep and stop trying to remind their spirits of their mistakes. Thanks |
Lolz, we already knew. It wasn't designed to be met in the first place. So you either go and apologise to the powers that be, or go get Sowore a very thick duvet and pillow, not forgetting a very thick socks and mattress, because the night is gonna be a verrrrry long one. May God help you as you explore other options. |
It's so unfortunate that Nigerian Presidents become wise and articulate after exit from office except for one former head of state who refused to better himself intellectually after office, of which we are all suffering for it today. I didn't call any name ọ. That being said, I find GEJ's response very apt and articulate. Honestly I never knew the man can be this bold to counter some western former prime minister. It seems GEJ now have a better understanding of what he lost. Even in his reply, he sounded like one that would've done more. He now understands the power play that ousted him from office. As for Cameron or Cameroon, we all know all that transpired at the time,we know he is lying just to sell book. Please let him sell his book quietly and leave GEJ alone to nurse his regret of not helping his constituency and region while in power in peace. We have a new sheriff in town, and we are also seeing the swift response in rescuing abducted and kidnapped victims from the Northern Region. Hypocrisy and lies laced with deception all in one administration and it's allies. God help us. |
ireneidiva:Thanks for that correction. |
Savvywriteprene:Thanks for your wonderful contribution. |
Donald3d:They are not staying in his father's house, they just went to spend the night and Sunday there. She agreed that they go there and wash their dirty cloths and cottons there |
yeyeosoronga:She insisted they do the washing. It was her idea. |
LordKO:No Sir, you are wrong. I know them quite well, they love each other very well. If I can't say for her, I can say for him. |
Donald3d:Thanks Sir, I think you are one person that actually captured the matter to a great extent. Actually he is that kind of person. According to him, it wasn't that she was tired, he just noticed that she wanted to prove something he can't really pin point. He said something told him not to excuse her behavior and soak the cloths, that she is deliberately avoiding it. He even told her that he would do the washing while she does rinsing. He kept wondering why she was comfortable struggling with a cotton than helping him complete the soaking of the cloths. He couldn't understand the rational behind her action. He said he noticed somethings this morning that he can't really explain. He even asked her to get washing brush for him from his mother's room that he wants to use and wash her stained blouse, she refused and after a while she said he should go get the brush for her, which he vehemently rebuked her and verbally forced her to enter and bring it,which she reluctantly did. He thought it was just some mood swing, but when he observed that she wanted to do any other thing than help him complete the soaking, he knew she was up to something. He is really not happy and having some deep thought about the issue. |
thorpido:He said they didn't have any quarrels prior to that. That he actually thought she was joking but just realised she wasn't. |
Theyoungmatron:He said it was the wife that insisted they wash the cloths today, that she even woke him up from a nap because of it. He wasn't comfortable about it but didn't want to demoralise her, so he obliged. No, she isn't pregnant yet. |
Theyoungmatron:Hmmmm, what he meant by been hardworking is that she is not lazy and does house chores. Maybe I shouldn't have used the word hardworking if it meant financial capability. Though she is industrious, the guy is responsible on his own part. He tries. He is that kind of gentleman that feels that a woman is not a slave and should be helped in chores, but he feels she is abusing it. It's not a financial capability issue. Thanks anyway for your imput. |
Theyoungmatron:Go back to my response to your quote. I just modified. Thanks |
lilmax:Ya, he is seriously considering not helping her out on chores anymore. In fact he is furious. |
Theyoungmatron:They have a washing machine. They decided to wash manually. They actually moved to a new apartment last night, and because the whole house was so congested, they decided to go spend the night and today at the guy's family house before returning to arrange their house. They took their dirty cloths and cotton along to wash. In fact as I'm writing this, he said the wife has laid down to sleep, while his Mom saw the littered cloths outside and is washing them. He is so furious, didn't say anything to his Mom, but went into the room and told his wife he will deal with her because of this. I just told him to calm down for now. |
