It was said that when the governors met and said Atiku should not contest the PDP primaries, that the Presidency should be zoned to the South for the sake of equity and fairness. Atiku told them that if that be case, then it should be zoned to SE, and the govs like Wike said No. That it should be South. Atiku then told them that if it was not going to be zoned to the SE, then he will not withdraw from the race. That's why he contested.

When Tinubu was saying Emi lokan (It is my turn) during the run up of the APC primaries, he never understood the gravity of that statement. Maybe it's his turn to be exposed and unmasked. The campaigns are yet to start and so much questions are being raised. They are busy producing fabrics and campaign materials for campaigns, leaving the important things unattended. This coming election is not going to be business as usual that I can assure us. Aspirants will be stretched mentally, financially and health wise. Good. This guy is really positioning himself for this election. I like his energy and around the clock kind of life. This is how serious contenders should sell themselves to the stakeholders and electorates.
I'm beginning to believe that Tinubu is a placeholder for Shettima. He knows he has no strength for the election and also has offended many by his greed for power, so he is sending Shettima to go and mend fences for him, but it's unfortunate because that APC pattern of 2015 through Osibanjo will not work again. Nigerians are wiser. Shettima does not have the Osibanjo appeal nor charm. Tinubu is too arrogant and sees himself as a demi god. Nigerians will humble him in this election.

Only political neophytes and minions doesn't know that politics is a game of chess and wisdom. That apart, what is wrong in PO bowing (maybe kneel) to greet an elder statesman like Atiku? So because of politics, one should publicly disrespect his former boss? Atiku is not PO's mate by all standard. Atiku gave Obi the platform he is using to shine today. Just like John Kelly gave Obama the platform in 2004 that brought Obama to limelight, that's how Atiku stick out his neck for Obi in 2018 against all odds and threats from PDP governors. Buhari has achieved his only ambition in life courtesy of Tinubu and Co, which is to answer a President after he was chased out of Dodan baracks by IBB for the same things he is doing today.
