First and foremost, I will enjoin you to act fast. This is because with infertility, the older one is, the lower the chances of successful conception. Now to your question of which is the best Fertility clinic in Nigeria. The truth is, the answers you will get here will be subjective. So, in Nigerian parlance, "Shine your eye" That said, I answered a similar question on Quora and I think it might help you in making informed decision. My Quora answer reproduced below: "You probably mean which fertility clinic has the highest success rates. Well, the answers you will get will be subjective mainly because of absence of objective data on the success rates of fertility clinics in Nigeria. This notwithstanding, I will still say the top two fertility clinics in Nigeri are Nordica Fertility Center, Lagos and, the Bridge Clinic. In terms of number of successful birth, The Bridge clinic is the top with 1800 babies. Nordica comes second here with about 1300 babies. Please note that The Bridge Clinic started four years before the Nordica Clinic, so total number of babies born might not be the best method of assessment. In terms of quality of personnel and equipment, the two clinics are still the best in Nigeria. Though Nordica has a slight edge here because they are the only fertility Clinic in Nigeria that all their doctors are specialist gynaecologists. And in terms of facilities and equipment, both clinics are world class. Even though it is believed that Nordica has the advantage here over all other clinics in Nigeria, this has not been verified by a third party. Now if cost is a concern to you, you should probably consider the Government hospitals . The top two are National Hospital Abuja and, University of benin Teaching Hospital".. Emmanuel1976: |
What I have been seeing on Nairaland of late is shameless display of ignorance and lack of dept. If you know anything about international oil market, you will know that Swaps are the most popular hedging instrument used by oil and gas producers to hedge their exposure to volatile oil and gas prices as hedging with swaps allows them to lock in or fix the price they receive for their oil and gas production. By insisting on this mechanism, Diezani should be applauded rather than vilified. I sincerely belief our educational systems need comprehensive overhaul. We are a country of "dafties". Shamefull! Great tips. I have only one addition: Be positive |
Couples going through infertility should also get closer to God. He is the ultimate comforter |
This is a very dangerous post. Please follow the tips at your own peril. always try to focus the links using your keywords in the anchor text of the link if it’s possible. That is a recipe for a penalty from Google. "With the Penguin update, Google began to look more closely at keywords in anchor text. If too many of a site's inbound links contain the exact same anchor text, it can start to appear suspicious, and is often a sign that the links weren’t acquired naturally. In general, it’s still a best practice to obtain keyword– and topic–specific anchor text when possible. However, SEOs may get better results by striving for a variety of anchor text rather than the same keyword each time" And as to the BIG LIST of directories, to say it politely: it is a a waste of time. Nairaland should please avoid putting this kind of mis-information on home page. |
Igwe9:"You can never be wrong betting on the stupidity of Nigerians" I was very angry when I first heard this but of late, I have come to agree that it is the truth. It is my personal opinion that the biggest problem facing Nigeria is the fact that we have totally become a country of non thinking morons. And the integrity vacuous politicians and media are using this to feed us hogwash. I mean, the PwC audit showed that of the $49billion (or $12b, or $10b, or $20b) alleged by Sanusi to have been missing, nothing was actuaully missing. It is pertinent to note again that the $1.48bn was not part of the alleged unremitted revenues from crude oil sales In the course of carrying out comprehensive audit, PwC recommended that NNPC remit $1.48b. This amount was the balance of the book value of the divested assets that were transferred to NNPC upstream subsidiary, NPDC. So, the money was never stolen nor embezzled by any individual. Rather, it has been in the book of NPDC all along. This invariably means the money has been in the balance sheet of Nigeria since NPDC belongs to Nigeria. Any body with an IQ of even 70 will know that it is not possible that $20b will be taken from the federal covers. For crying out loud, the total revenue of the federal government of Nigeria was less than $20 billion last year! Lastly, the bitter truth Nigerians need to realize is that, our dear country, Nigeria is an EXTREMELY poor country. |
Just to clarify something; The Oba of Lagos is actually the Oba of Lagos Island and not Oba of Lagos State. Lagos Island is less than 10% of Lagos State . As a matter of fact, the Oba of Lagos's jurisdiction does not extend beyond third mainland bridge. |
NgeneUkwenu:I think politics or not, some people should learn to be civil. But then, resorting to invectives instead of ratiocinating is a mark of inferior intellect. |
The truth is, APC is in a very dicey situation if Gen. Buhari cannot produce his secondary school certificate. By swearing to an affidavit to the effect that he had a certificate (lost, stolen, destroyed....), his eligibility to contest will be hinged on this secondary school certificate irrespective of any other certificates he acquired later. But the bigger implication is the perjury aspect. I was with some very senior lawyers yesterday and even though I do not really understand a lot of their 'lawyer speak", what they all seem to agree with is that, even if Gen. Buhari wins, his victory will be overturned by the courts. Head or tail, it seems APC loses. I just hope its not too late for APC to present another candidate. |
My only prayer is that crude oil price falls below $20 so that this obviously flawed, indolence breeding and growth stunting contraption called Nigeria can be restructured/dismantled. This marriage is obviously not working but, some people want to die in it because of easy oil money. |
aljharem:I really would have love a change of power in Lagos from APC to PDP. But with Koro, well, APC for another 4 years. What a sad day for Lagos! |
I think even a toddler knows that only Jimi Agbaje can give PDP any chance in Lagos. But if they present Koro as their candidate, I will just advise Ambode to start planning his inauguration party. No contest |
I may not know anything about Lagos politics but I know one thing for certain, if PDP presents Obanikoro, APC could as well start planning the inauguration party because they have won before the election. aljharem: |
Maybe the people that say Nigeria is beyond redemption are right after-all. Painful, so painful Rays123: Amidst angry reactions trailing the unavailability of the N1.9 billion released by President Goodluck Jonathan for the management of Ebola, the Health Minister, Onyebuchi Chukwu, has denied the money was for the management of the virus. |

It is so appalling when obviously dull people assume others are as retarded as they are. I mean if they must fabricate stories, they should at least cook up something decent not these invented cock and bull stories. |
@willycrown Follow me and I will reciprocate in one hour. Thanks |
Every field has its authorities (Edward Wittins in physics, Harold Bloom in literature, Stanley Hauerwas in theology to mention but a few). Same is true of the digital marketing field as well. There are a set of people who based on their exhibited expertise, dept of understanding and professional acumen have earned the tag "authority" in the field of digital marketing. While there are several digital marketing "experts", very few are qualified to be called "authority". Below is a list of the most notable digital marketing authority alive. Rather than do a generic list, what I have done is to group the experts into four distinct subject areas in digital marketing: SEO, PPC, CRO/Analytics, General Strategy SEO Rand Fishkin: Rand is the founder and CEO of Moz, one of the marketing world's fastest growing software companies. His knowledge of SEO is overwhelming. More important however is his willingness to share all that he knows--for free. His company blog is arguably the richest source of up to date SEO resources. what surprises me the most about Rand is that he never lowers the standard of his write ups as I am yet to see a mediocre or even an average stuff from him. Rand Fishkin co-authored the Art of SEO from O'Reilly Media, co-founded Inbound.org, and was named on PSBJ's 40 Under 40 List and BusinessWeek's 30 Best Tech Entrepreneurs Under 30. Governments the world over are utilizing social media as an engagement tool between the government and the governed. In fact, there is a school of thought that believes that Barach Obama won the last presidential election in the USA because of his effective use of social media. As part of our ongoing series on the use of ICT in different sectors of the Nigeria society, we have done a review of the use of social media as an engagement tool by Nigeria state governors. We set out with two hypotheses and, our findings completely corroborate them. The hypotheses are (1) governors in the southern part of the country will use social media more than their northern counterpart and (2) PDP governors will use social media less than their counterparts from other parties. FINDINGS SUMMARIZED 1. The top five governors are all of APC 2. The top five governors are all in the south 3. Eight of the top ten governors are in the south 4. Nine of the bottom ten governors are in the north The complete research data and findings can be found at http://woweffectng.com/news/most-socially-connected-nigeria-governors |
kcjazz: I understand you want to sell your graphic design skills but LOGO is not the most important part of a brand. For all I care Coca Cola the most popular brand in the world has changed its logo so many times. Your brand is your story. Have this beautiful logo and sew terrible shirts, customers won't come back for the logo they will come back for how good your shirt makes them feel.Unfortunately, the OP just like any average Nigerian does not know the meaning of branding. To most of us branding is all about visual identities like logo, décor, website and promotional items like “branded” T-shirts, pen, etc. A brand is more than that! Those are just the artifice of branding; a reflection of your brand. Your brand is your overriding business concept. To quote from a paper I wrote on the same topic sometimes ago: Strong brands are built on meaning, relevance and, utility and not so much on your logo and marketing message. When people talk about the Nestle Brand or even the YemKem brand, they are not referring to the visual identity. They are referring to something deeper. As brandSimple defines it, “A brand is whatever the customer thinks when he hears your company’s name.” your brand is simply what you represent in the mind of the customer. And this impression is formed by experience, either directly or indirectly. Thus, First Bank brand represent s dependability in the market because the bank has never been insolvent or associated with insolvency in it’s over a hundred years of operating in the turbulent Nigeria financial industry. Likewise, GT Bank is seen as the epitome of quality in the banking industry not because of its logo or advertisement, but because when you visit GT Bank, you experience quality service |
Nice one. I will try it but hope you guys do not dissappoint sha. |
Unfortunately, the current indebtedness of Lagos is worse than reported in that report. As at June this year, Lagos State foreign debt profile alone is $865,531,142.12. (http://www.dmo.gov.ng/oci/subn/docs/States%20and%20FGN%20External%20Debt%20Stock%20as%20at%2030th%20June,%202013.pdf) Even According to Lagos State DMO, The state's indebtedness as at the end of 2012 was N338,980,000,000 ( https://www.google.com.ng/search?q=domestic+debt+profile+of+lagos+state&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&gws_rd=cr&ei=1MYpUpjHEabB0QWQnYHgA) For those saying the debt is sustainable, kindly note the percentage of the state's revenue being allocated to debt servicing. It has increased from 8.9% in 2008 to 20% in 2013. |
