We need to start liberating our youth from poverty and illiteracy.
Compulsory free education for all child and more employment opportunities are what we should be advocating after all these that has befallen us, both the SE and SW.

However, my concern with creating this organisations is how to prevent what happened to previous similar organization that crumbled. I.e nepotism, mediocrity, corruption et al.
Perhaps they should consider private input/partnership...

While I agree that merit is crucial. That doesn't take away the fact that Nigeria is multi-ethnic and very diverse, which must be mirrored in what we do as a nation, enshrined in our constitution as federal character....
Infact nowadays people have realised the importance of diversity and inclusion which is now the buzzword even in the corporate world...
Nonetheless, I find it hard to believe there are no competent individuals, to represent at least each of the geopolitical zones in this government....unlike the lopsided appointment we have now...
One of the clear benefit of inclusion, is the sense of belonging and cohesion is brings...

This would have made sense of course if we produced what we consume. Like in China where most of its need are locally produce such arguement will hold water.

But in a country like ours, where most things including our basic need are imported, you need the dollar to procure them. Thus, the implication is that the high exchange rate results in high cost of goods and items.
