Good morning family, I never felt the need to do this, it's not like I don't know what else to do. I just need your opinion. Am currently a Branch manager of one of the biggest indigenous retail company (supermarket) in the country. Some group of Indian investor bought over my company... And I was transferred to Abakaliki to open our new branch. my relationship with the new owners I won't lie, is great.. My net monthly salary now is 110k, I have an official car and I live in the company's quarters. There's no hope for salary increment. In the next 10 years am not sure of getting to 200k. My fiancee is in pH, and we are hoping to get married by next year.. this places a lot of demand to increase my income so I can afford to take care of my family. However, I have an offer with another retail company in pH with salary of 200k. The company has promised and increment upon my confirmation. I went for the interview yesterday.. when they saw my experience and everything in my CV they became anxious to bring me in... So they asked how much am expecting I told them 200-250k and they settle at 200k. Right they, the chairman asked HR to give me offer letter and that I should start with immediate effect. My pain now is that, First ; according to the HR their budget for the position was 300k.. now I've short change my self.. I feel so bad. Secondly; I don't know how to present this to my MD, how do I tell them am leaving.. and the notice seems short. As I met him yesterday with a lot of expectations and target from me, just don't know how to communicate it to him. How I wish they can offer me this amount. About the same time Dangote refinery was approved.. several other refineries was also given an approval. Akwa Ibom, Imo state, Delta and in rivers state. when you folks talk about monopoly i wonder how.... Dangote is a visionary entrepreneur when you notice a problem, utilized it to your best advantage... BUA group also got license to build a refinery in Akwa Ibom, till date... Nothing has been done... so federal Government should do what for you.... we should stop this sense of entitlement, if you know how to get something from the government do it... it's not anybody's fault that you don't know how to play your card... as a manager of one of the leading supermarket in this country. i can tell you that supermarket business is very profitable. i wished not to state who i am has i did above. but to register as an authority. there're a lot you need to know about this business before you put your money. * it's a business of leverage. * just as we have tier 1,2 and 3 banks. likewise in retail business. (this is to a layman how big u envisage, both in terms of size and capital) *no matter how much u have, you'll burnt ur fingers. it's not about ur money. it's about how many manufactures, importers, direct distributors and dealers u know. * you only need more money for fix asset and some for goods. * you don't make money in this business by how much markup u put on each goods. but ur profit is a determinant factors of where u buy from, who, when and how u buy. in general. don't under estimate the power of retail. if u doubt, ask Alibaba AKA jack mar 2 Likes 1 Share |

Next thing, aunty started packing stuffs including what she doesn't need... The guy was still they... Even accompanied her to cash point... At the cash point the guy asked her for her phone number... She thought, he was asking for her account number... The guy said no ur phone number... At this point the cashier has finished scanning all the stuff... Everything amounted to 109k.. it was at this point that the guy left .. told her that he will guy her a call.. She couldn't control her emotions... She called the guy... And said " won't u pay for all this... It was even too late for her... To decline... Because she has already asked the cashier to print out the recipe.. |

I and my sister went to one of the best private university (Madonna university) Most times it's all about planning... It's not about how much you earn... The question is...
