I hate news like this... Now that he's fighting with his life against the government, and the oil lords. Where are others... Several license where issued alongside his own. None except him and BUA has made the bold step to risk their wealth and their lives to invest in this economy... Tomorrow you'll come out to cry Monopoly... Tell me the sector that he's monopolizing... Nicoddemus: |
How hard is it to process information. According to the lady, she messed up the place, the house was clean before her arrival. The guy bought her food... She ate the food and leave the entire place untidy. dominique: |

More customers will not save your business. Most business owners think: “If I can just get more customers, everything will be fine.” Wrong. If your pricing is off… If your staff are not accountable… If your operations are weak… More customers only expose your inefficiencies faster. I’ve seen this firsthand in retail. The real game is not traffic. It’s structure. Fix your system before chasing growth. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing practical insights from my journey in retail and distribution. If you’re building in this space, follow along. FOR MORE SALES INSIGHT... That's the worst thing to do. There's what we call bureau report. A bad credit report means your not eligible to travel out of this country, you can't get a facility or grant from any bank. Be very guided and advice your friend to get to the bank and sort out the issue guobe: |

I'm sorry no intention to disrespect. Didn't you read where it's stated that 98.5% of the revenue came from domestic sales while export contributed only 1.5% So what are we saying? budaatum: |

Reflecting on My Journey in Sales: The Highs, Lows, and Lessons Learned I’ve been in this sales and retail industry for over half a decade now, 3 years as a retail Banker, 3 years in the core retail trade working with one of the biggest indigenous modern trade company building portfolio in supply chain, Negotiation, inventory, RM etc. this year, I decided to burn my fingers by embarking on an exhilarating journey into the FMCG industry. I started as a Regional Sales Manager which I was later promoted in April to the position of the HEAD OF SALES AND MARKETING. what a ride it's been! From the thrill of closing my first major deal to navigating the challenges of a market downturn, every moment has shaped me and my approach to sales. Every challenge and triumph have been a step forward in my sales journey. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that perseverance, adaptability, and a positive attitude are key to thriving in the sales industry. One thing that has kept me going is the understanding that: 1. I need to Invest in My Sales Team: Continuous training and development are essential. Equip your team with the latest tools and techniques to stay competitive. 2. Foster a Positive Culture: Recognize achievements, encourage teamwork, and create an environment where your team feels valued. 3. Be Adaptable: The market is constantly changing. Stay flexible and be ready to pivot your strategies. 4. Build Relationships: Sales are about more than just transactions; they're about building genuine connections. Understand your clients' needs and invest time in nurturing those relationships. 5. Stay Resilient: Rejection and setbacks are part of the journey. Learn from failures, stay persistent, and keep pushing forward. 6. Keep Learning: The sales landscape is always evolving. Stay curious, keep learning, and be proactive in improving your skills. The Highs: One of the most rewarding experiences was landing a significant deal with one of the biggest supermarket chains to supply our product BABA FOODS CASHEWNUT. Through persistence, countless presentations, and building genuine relationships, we secured the deal and made a noticeable impact. Moments like these reaffirm the value we bring to our clients and fuel our passion for what we do. Leading a dynamic sales team has been another highlight. Watching my team members grow, hit their targets, and surpass their own expectations is incredibly fulfilling. Celebrating these successes, both big and small, fosters a strong team spirit and makes the tough days worthwhile. The Lows: The journey hasn't been without its challenges. A market downturn tested our resilience and forced us to adapt quickly. It is a period of tough decisions, sleepless nights, and relentless effort. But these experiences have taught me the importance of adaptability and maintaining a positive attitude, no matter the circumstances. Dealing with difficult clients and unmet expectations was another tough lesson. Transparent communication and setting clear expectations became crucial to maintaining client relationships and trust. Let's keep pushing boundaries and achieving greatness together! Please, feel free to connect with me, help me to meet my next expectation which is to diversify our market. I’m seriously looking for means to exporting our flagship product BABA CASHEW NUT to other market such as Europe, Asia and America. Can you connect me to my next client? The Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, Mele Kyari, has said oil refineries were not created to reduce petrol prices. Kyari stated this on Friday when he appeared before the National Assembly Joint Committee on Appropriations. Recall that the Senate Committee had issued a 24-hour ultimatum on Wednesday to Kyari and the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) to appear and warned that failure to appear undermines the legislature and sabotages the process. Speaking during his appearance, Kyari said the expected functionality of refineries does not guarantee a potential drop in the pump price of petroleum because it is not the main objective of the refineries. They're possibilities to get converted to a full time staff... But that's entirely on your performance... Especially your deposit... The experience and exposure is a good one ... What helped me then, was ability for me to choose to work smart rather than the usual hard work I allow my money to do the work .. while I focus on other important things... For example I'll take 20k from my salary... Tell our security to block customers that comes to Open account... Channel them to me then I'll pay them #200 for each account they referred to me... I'll do same to POS operators... So instead of me to work on the street begin people to open account... This was my strategies... With this, I had enough time to follow up big customers that will give me deposit... Secondly, most DSA,s use to recycle deposit... For example, if my uncle Open account of 10m with me this month.. next month, I'll use same money and open account for his child... Until I recycle it to open account for all his 4 children.. Then I'll continue the same cycle until he needs his money back... Good luck in advance Dubetex96: |

How to slide to Dm and get response... Even small me finds it difficult to respond to messages from unknown persons coming to exchange pleasantry on my DM, therefore I feel there are other bigger persons who feels the same way..... Shun the mentality of all these unnecessary pleasantries Hello, Hi, good morning sir, how are you? bra bra bra like that . Do it like this ... 1. Greetings .....just simply greet the person 2. Introduction ..... Simply introduce yourself and add only profile that relates to the person you need response from....for example you are a farmer and teacher .... If you need attention of someone for Agric purpose ...simply say your name and what you are doing in Agriculture, don't bug them with your teaching profile.... 3. Appreciation...find the shortest possible means and praise the person for the work he is doing .... Make the appreciation practical and real... for example... I am excited over your last announcement of 20 youth empowerment program in your organization...this makes people believe you follow them for real. 4. Why you are reaching out....take out time and make sure you caption your reason for reaching out aptly and clearly.... Find a way and add what is possible for the person to benefit from you. 5. Feedback strategy... Make sure you end with action words ...such as I would love to see you, call you, get your opinion, get your response, get your contact, etc ....this will provocate a conversation with such a person.... In my messenger, I have hundreds of irritating pleasantries which I don't know how to respond.... someone I know have said Hi to me for more than 10times.... Stop it and learn this .... thank you and have a nice day..... |
Thank you OP for this insight... What a well... articulated post... |

Igbo education is the best form of educational system Africa and Nigeria needs to create and distribute wealth, enhance human capital development. Igbo education is west African (Igbo tribe) form of apprenticeship. this system has produced more millionaires and billionaires than the formal school system... Dangote the richest man in Nigeria (and all the richest black man on earth) is a product of this system... he didn't learn business from school... he learnt it from his uncle.. remember that his grandfather Dantata was one time the richest man in Nigeria |
what's your opinion. |
