Hello mates, I love how this is going & I'd very much love to be engaged in the freelancing and remote work, cause I'm extremely good in Graphic designs & user interface Design UI and a bit of video editing, so if you do have connections or means that could be of benefit, please help kindly... Freelancer.com and upwork isn't easy at all, I've been on there for months, no single bid came through...
Search on LinkedIn with these keywords 'remote graphics designer' and apply relentlessly, good luck.

I arrived on Monday morning, the trip was okay, though the driver was damn slow.

I don't like Lagos bruh!

It's just rush rush and more rush.

so yeah, i finally went live, changed my phone to an android phone and used the remaining cash to sort out some bills and fund my account.

I funded 57 on wednesday and I'm now at 113$.

planning to withdraw something when i get to 300$ let's see how it goes.

nothing much is happening for me apart from hustling.

my babe that i gushed about here, has find her way, a lil misunderstanding though.

I’ll be on the road the whole day and next.
Nairaland General › Re: an unemployed chad by Winnerrrr(op): 9:40pm On Apr 30, 2021
Yo, wassup D smiley

Made my bread today too 5.14$

Didn’t read anything through out the day.

I’m finally going home tomorrow Insha Allah.

I don’t even know where to start, I’m having a mixed feeling about going back home tbh, i really don’t want to be that big bro that’ll be a burden to his parents at all.

But i need to be home, i need that peace and tranquillity to make money.

I’m the first born, I’ve got a lot of things to take care of at home, especially in our side, the northern part, first borns are the ones the family look up to, i need to step up my game.

If i can work on my indices strategy, build it up with consistency, my earning potentials will be limitless.

Sometimes, Life has no meaning or context, i dunno maybe because I’m broke or sumtin’ or i leave in a third world country where basic amenities are seen as luxury.

But look at it, in the morning, we go out grind, hustle, bustle, shout, plead, beg, asslick just to make paper, then come back home at the evening exhausted AF, rest and still we up tomorrow, same circle every day.

Except for few that are opportune to have a break through or those born with a silver spoon.

Damn, i got the message early in life when i was just 18, year 1 in my former university.

After a morning lecture, I saw everyone rushing out of the hall, trying to catch up the next, I was upstairs looking through the door, the crowd was massive, I thought to myself ‘bruv, everyone out there is trying to catch up, graduate and make money’, the struggle was real dawg.

I’ve been a hustler from day 1, used to hustle my dad out, 20k, 10k buh I’m more consistent with 10k, every ending of the month, he do bring his whole salary home, it was a lot of cash, bunch of 500’s and kilo’s, the moment they paid salary he’ll do an overall home shopping and that’s my signal, the moment i see that shopping, I’ll just strategize and enter his room, open his bag and count my paper, sometimes i got caught but most of the times i come out clean!

What else will a 15yo do with money than to spend it on friends, bought phones several times and kept it with my friends, clothes too, i had like 20 pairs of shoes then, i always lie that i bought them with my lunch stipends, the only thing i never did with my money is drugs and alcohol maybe because they’re not common in my side, i bleeped ashawos too, but most of the time I spent all of the money on clothes.

I learnt an important lesson then, that’s i still hold dear till now, people will worship you when you have money, you’ll make more friends, they’ll turn your insults to jokes and do everything to make sure they didn’t offend you so that you won’t stop giving them.

I experience that side pretty much, throughout my secondary school days, people are always by my side, i dated my senior, people fought themselves because of me, it got to a point i became the only voice in my class, what i say is what will happen but I was really intelligent though and that really helped too.

So, i was kind of deluded in this illusion, i though it was all that, sometimes I’ll come back home I’ll see 7 missed calls, 8,11 and all, i felt on top of the world.

Then slowly the money stops trickling in like they used to and all of them started switching up, outings without me, parties with out me and everything was playing out under my nose, at first, my young mind thought it’s betrayal, i started beefing them, not talking with them on social, but as i grow up i realized that’s how life is, paper will outweigh everything.

At then I’ve grew up to understand hustling my dad out is plain stupidity because he’s hustling for us, to eat, to have a good life and all, so i started hustling on my own, I’m not a social person so didn’t do any physical business most of my endeavors were online.

Wsshhh, maaan, i did a lot of things, wrote two books and pushed them to okadabooks, advertised on IG and whatsapp, nothing came out of it, tried freelance writing, did logon design for #100 here on nairaland with my former monicker, did bet9ja, did mini importation it started going well till I had a bad deal with one woman i imported for, the business just flew out of my mind, did swagbucks, prolific, ohmydosh e.t.c , did fiverr and upwork, did domaining too, learnt coding damnn.

Never made any consistent income on any of those, it was all a one time-off kind of thing, then i learnt about forex and that was the game changer for me, i realized i can make money without interacting with anybody just me and the charts.

Ever since i lost interest in work or business that involves me being at a mercy of someone, if i should ever go into business, I’ll be going in as a made man, I’ll cut my prices the way i deem fit and set my own rules, we either do business or you bounce.

I feel so driven wallahi, I don’t know why though maybe because of the things I’ve been through or how i figured out how the world works at a young age i really dunno.

See you D.

I’m finally opening up, whew!

Today was a bit dull honestly, spent the rest of the day planning and making enquiries on my trip.

Checked the market, it was a bit choppy no real opportunities but i took some trades, didn’t made much and made some losses too.

Read the lean start-up too and note some important points.

We go again tomorrow.

Bless

Made my 5.51$

I so much love this challenge

Honestly, i didn’t read much today.

Just some few pages in ‘the lean start up’

Start the day on some bad note but i later took charge and complete my challenge.

I can’t believe I used mel robbins 5 second rule today.

So yeah, I’ll be going back home this week, I’ve got somethings I want to do at home.

Let’s see how that goes.

Insha Allah, this year will be different, let’s goooo.

Made 5.0$ today, what a round figure.

Finished mel robbins book and I’ll start ‘the lean start-up’ tomorrow hopefully.

I realised that i keep on coming back to tech no matter what, well, might be that call i need to answer.

Honestly I love tech entrepreneurship, it’s cool and let you participate in different industries of your choice.

You can do fashion-tech, photography-tech, finance-tech and any field that welcomes innovation.

Well, might just add learning coding to my routine.

But this time around, I’m not learning to earn, work for anyone strictly learning to build.

I have some ideas lying in my head, might just test them out, I’m on a high energy level, let’s see where it leads to.

P.S forget that 42.50$, it’s a mistake forgot to lower the lot size, thought it’s boom.

See you tomorrow diary.

Yo,

What’s up Diary, today’s fasting wasn’t easy at all, sun was high like it puffed some weeeed, lols, went out around 11am to get my phone’s receipt at a shop nearby, i was there till around 2pm, on my way back omo, sun beat me like maad, I just got home and slept off till around 3:45pm, listened to a sermon and waited for Iftar.

Made 5.06$ today.

I finished up the money management book I started reading yesterday by Dave Ramsey, what really stick to my head was to always have an emergency fund you don’t touch at all, it’ll really help when rainy days come lurking.

I picked ‘The 5 second rule’ by Mel Robbins and it’s really interesting, it falls under Time management too, how to act immediately and building courage.

It’s really simple and exciting to try out.

If you want to do something, stop thinking of something all what you need to do is

Count

5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and take action.

It really works like magic and sort of correlates with Nike’s tagline ‘Just do it’.
