The length of gestation varies from species to species. The shortest known gestation is that of the Virginian opossum, about 12 days, and the longest that of the Indian elephant, about 22 months. In the course of evolution the duration of gestation has become adapted to the needs of the species. The degree of ultimate growth is a factor, smaller animals usually having shorter periods of gestation than larger ones. Exceptions are the guinea pig and related South American rodents, in which gestation is prolonged (averaging 68 days for the guinea pig and 111 days for the chinchilla). The young of these species are born in a state of greater maturity than are those of the rat with its period of 22 days. Another factor is that, in many species with restricted breeding seasons, gestation is adjusted so that birth coincides with the period when food is most abundant. Thus the horse, a spring breeder with 11 months’ gestation, has its young the following spring, as does the sheep, a fall breeder with a five months’ gestation. Animals that live in the open tend to have longer gestations and to bear young that have reached a state of greater maturity than do animals that can conceal their young in underground burrows or in caves. Marsupials generally have short gestations—e.g., 40 days for the largest kangaroos. The young, born in an extremely immature state, transfer to the pouch in which gestation may be said to continue.

Stay off-k in a lodge. Na students dey my lodge and none of us get generator.
Only my landlord's brother has a generator which he placed just few inches from my window. That Gen dey make noise ehn...I hate noise so much reason why I love my lodge cuz it is very quiet. But since this guy got a second hand generator, most times I find myself praying that it never starts....lol. My prayer works sometimes.

Just like you guys suggested yesterday, I told him to stop self treatment and go and see a Doctor. He just sent me a mail today.. He said he is fine now.

He said he spent a total of #1,300 to cure himself.

He said he went to this cottage govt hospital in their area. He bought their card for #500 and requested to see the Doctor. He said he waited till it got to his turn.

When the male Doc asked him what his complains was, he told him everything and as he was telling the doc, he was writing some note down. after everything the Doctor handed him the list and told him to go to the hospital pharmacist and hand them the note.

He did as he was told and them sha pack some drugs for am sha. It totaled to #800.

He said he went there yesterday afternoon and when he got home, he took some and he said since that yesterday, he has not experienced any burning sensation when peeing again, also there is no more discharge..

Well my favorite Hymnal is "The Great Physician" the song has done great wonders for me. I remember back then in 2009 to be precise I was really down, I was rushed to upth hospital, I was about giving up.. I watched my mum crying, my life was hanging between life and death, I watched how the doctor were trying to prepare an oxygen tank for me... Deep down I just sang that Hymnal within my heart. And all of a sudden I felt a cold rush of wind against my skin and I regained complete consciousness....
