Business / The Cowards Against Prof. Peretomode (delsu VC) by wisdomclass: 6:36pm On Nov 02, 2019
It no more news that some men are out on social media to discredit the Vice Councilor Of the Delta State University. There has been talks of injustice, dictatorship, selective justice, irrational decision making and lots of savages against the incumbent VC of the Delta State University.

These men, supposed Human Rights activist and oppressed are now speaking out against Prof because a new VC has been appointed to take over.

A self acclaimed human right activist wrote, POWER IS TRANSIENT. A write up meant to discredit the work of the vice chancellor.

“Power is Transient

After leaving Office what would people remember you for? Indeed, Power is Transient Mr Prof. Is it not sad that people are jubilating that u are no more d VC of Delsu and they tagged your reign as Evil days in Power? As VC u left a system of witch hunting Students. When a Student insult members of the Public u rusticate them , u call it Discipline oh yes we applauded u , when Lecturers are caught molesting a student u frown bitterly at that act and sack them. Some hail u! but Sir, Right Under your Nose. A security company u gave contract to was killing Delsuite, kidnapping Lecturers robbing but u looked the other way around (Self benefit) would…”

Others have spoken forth and done writes up against the vice councillor but of what good is their speaking up now ?. Why didn’t they speak up when he was still much on the sit ?. In the words on Shakespeare, “A coward dies many times before their death. .” if these men have shunned themselves up for this long only to discredit the amiable Vice councilor, then they are complete cowards.

I want to emphatically point out that there is no office holder in our country that is guiltless. Somehow, somewhat people see their error but not their credible efforts.

The Vice Councilor has done his best for the institute and his efforts should be accoladed. Trying hard to vindicate him will not bring him down any further. His achievements are vincible to the entire institute . I plead with those that are audio self activists to desist from tarnishing the image of our amiable Vice Councilor as their effort is giving our school a bad name.

Am writing this out of the bitterness of my heart. Am sad as elf and i just have to pour this out here.

Am a student of the Delta State University. Last session, i observed the activities of some men defrauding innocent students around the school so i wrote an article about it. Just recently, while i was passing the university gate, i saw these men and decided to take pictures to support my write up. I never knew one of them was behind me, he came on me, took my IPhone Xmas, Slapped me and before i knew it, more than Seven hefty men came pouncing on me while onlookers, even students stood watching.

It took the grace of God to leave that place with swollen face. I reported the issue to the police and they are asking I make payment before they take me serious.

I want justice for what happened to me. Please someone should help

Politics / Bike Men And SARS Operatives Clash In Abraka by wisdomclass: 4:15pm On Oct 01, 2019
Bike men locally known as Okada and members of the Anti Robbery squad clash in Abraka today .
The clash started when SARS operatives forcefully stopped a bike man carrying a student that was suspected to be a yahoo boy.

The bike man and the student were harassed by the SARS operatives while other students jumped from their bike when they spotted the incidence from afar. This prompted the SARS operatives to release fire on the incoming bikes.

Members of the Okada union were enraged on why SARS operatives would continue causing unnecessary conundrum in the town.

Education / Re: Students, Freshers Survivals Guide For 2019/2020 Academic Session by wisdomclass: 7:59am On Sep 28, 2019
wisdomclass:
As the door to the 2019/2020 academic session opens, we bring to you a short survival guide to enable you go through your first year screening without falling victims to crooks on campus. References are given only to Delsu..

FRESHER'S SURVIVAL GUIDE.
The aim of this trend is to enlighten you on the tricks/methods used by the children of perdition to rob freshers on campus and also save you from avertible circumstances on campus. The following have been listed as guide to see you through your  first year stay in school.

1. LOOK OUT FOR THE TYPICAL ROBBERS
I will start with a personal experience in my first year in school.

Starring the release of the third batch admission list of my school, my duty as the coordinator of my department exposed me to all sorts of people. It was my duty to accommodate every genre of persons in my department.

On this particular day, i and a few of my mates were in class awaiting a lecturer. A dude, a strange face entirely with a cap on came to me. He introduced himself as Kalito. He said he gained admission from the just released list and he was hoping i would help him sort his clearance fast as the coordinator.

i wasn't sceptical with his request, i just accepted because as a coordinator it was an expectable task. He was free and was mingling with the other guys. I though he knew some of them with the way he was rolling. He even had lecture with us that day.

After lecture, he strolled with us ,discussing class stuffs, then just when we got to a business centre, he told me to borrow him my phone that he would place a call to his dad to send money to me for recommended  textbooks. He pretended to be making call and  was the end of my phone ownership. All attempts to trace the smart dude Proved abortive, so i accepted my fate and moved on.

2. Be Weary of "TRY YOUR LUCK"
These guys are professionals and i still don't understand why the school is not taking any action against them yet.

They usually camp at the campus 3 small gate. They are about four in numbers. What they do is, they set table and put phones on it, then they tell passing freshers to come play game with a promise of winning a phone with 50 naira. They are well organised with a young fella(one of them) pretending to have won a phone In order to arouse your interest. It's certain that before you leave, you will definitely loose  your money and your phone for gamble.
These dude use all forms of tricks and the most suspected is hypnotization. They hypnotize you into dropping your phone, your money and anything valuable and then you leave like a mugu.
Avoid them like plague.

3. Be mindful of road side course adviser.
Most business center guys fall into this category. They render all sorts of advise, just for you to patronise them. They claim to have forms and updates the school official websites or departments have not released yet. This set of people will give advise and when the negative result comes forth, they say "that's how we have been doing it before, don't know why it was changed. " They promise all sort but only leave you with disastrous results. Seek advise from your level adviser only.

4. Connection People
This set of people are masters of deception. They tell freshers they possess all the connections in school and they could help anyone get anything even to run screening if your result is having issues. They come in various forms, as graduates, stale students, supposed staffs, e.t.c
They also appear on social media to offer help. Avoid them like plague if you don't want problem.

5. Course Blocking
This set of people will tell you to block any course you find difficult. Mind you, all 100level courses in Delsu are computer based, so, no lecturer or anybody has access to manipulate them.

A mutual friend was tricked into paying 20,000 naira to a guy that works at the business centre in Delsu cooperative house in Campus two. The mutual friend not only failed the two first semester GSTs, he also lost his money.

So, remove your mind completely from it. No matter how convincing it might sound, it is absolute falacy. No single manipulation is possible in 100level, and even in 200level. So be wise. They come also as your coordinator or lecturer's assistance/boy.

Following the above mentioned tips will keep you out of trouble as a fresher and save you the stress of writing a bad first year experience in school .

Good luck and Welcome onboard.

“Today, at the Thanksgiving Service at the Government House Chapel in Asaba, I emphasized that our Lord God Almighty, has once again given us victory with today’s ruling of the election petition tribunal.
With today’s ruling, we must now move forward. I call on my brother, Great Ogboru, the candidate of the APC in the March 9th gubernatorial election, to partner with us, and all Deltans, as we work to build a #StrongerDelta for everyone.

Crime / Re: Another Lady Killed In A Hotel In Port Harcourt, CCTV Captures Killer (Video) by wisdomclass: 9:53am On Sep 18, 2019
magicminister:

Trust me, this isn’t the same guy!
This is a copy cat killer!

The last two killings were not done by the same person as the first 4.

- The main killer uses pillow case to strangle and bound, this copy cat used the bedsheet.

- the main killer mostly leaves the victim fully or partially clothed. The last two killings were fully unclothed.

- the main killer does not leave a drop of blood but the copy cat left blood stained sheet.

- the main killer never fails to bound the victims arms, the last two killings were not bounded at the arms.

I strongly believe the publicity the main killer received has inspired another deranged animal.
My biggest fear is that we become desensitized to these killings just like we have become desensitized to Boko Haram.

On closer examination, I can confidently say this is not the same killer as the first four. Kindly let me provide evidence to back my claim up.

1. The first picture is a knot made by the copy cat
2. The second picture is the knot made by the original killer.
3. The third picture is also the knot made by the original killer.

As you can see, the original killer knots to the right.

There are two major changes in the knot style.

1- change from pillow case to bedsheet
2- change from right knot to centre.

Coupled with the differences I stated before discovering the knot patterns, I strongly believe this is a copy cat killer.

The killer might be insensitive to accuracy considering the Nigerian mentality... I strongly believe this act was inspired by something probably a movie and the first publicity gave the subject the exact ego he wanted to take the next step. The killer is a psycho

Possibly, a youth that is religious, probably just experienced heart break, has money and is not from around the state.

since his victims are females, it could be he suffered from female clutches, like i said, heart break, mother's trauma during childhood or otherwise ..
