Notwithstanding Akiolu's gaffe, Lagos cannot be allowed to become a consolation prize for the PDP. No more opposition role for Lagos. The SS/SE will play that part. "Anything less would be uncivilized" |

Splashme: APC on the verge of losing Lagos . . .
From inception, Lagos and central government have never been on the same platform. One must be seen to be opposing the other
I know Fashola and Tinubu will do everything to install Ambode because of the massive corruption perpetrated in Alausa the last 16yrs You don fail. Ambode will be governor of Lagos, whether by hook or crook, coz PDP will not govern Lagos. Take that to the bank and cash it. |

PassingShot: Fayose bit more than he could chew and payback time has come. He who comes to equity must come with clean hands. He who seeks justice must do justice.
If it was cool for four lawmakers to impeach 19 lawmakers all because you enjoyed presidential support, it must be 'cooler' for 19 to impeach you especially with all constitutional breaches against you. Exactly! He endorsed that illegality of the 7 seven lawmakers but now wants to be treated as a sacred cow. |

nationwide1: Wetin these APC lawmakers / lawbreakers go do when they vote them out on Saturday? It doesn't matter whether they are voted out on Saturday or not coz their mandate doesn't expire till May 29, so till that expiry date Fayose is a sitting duck and will be impeached. |

LagosStar: Much as I feel Oba shouldn't have made his point in support of Ambode the way he did, I doubt his comment will change the fortune of next Saturday Gubernatorial race in Lagos. We all know long before now that Igbos are for PDP and it is not the comment of Oba that is making them vote PDP.
Even if Oba should apologise, it will change nothing because we know Igbos will still vote for PDP. So I urge every Yoruba voter in Lagos to stand up and be counted behind Ambode. The battle for the soul of Lagos has long be drawn, it didn't start with Oba's statement.
Saturday is just few days away, I pray Ambode wins. You have spoken the truth and nothing but. All these people making noise weren't going to vote for Ambode to begin with. That is even if they are resident in Lagos or have PVCs. APC has always known where the Lagos igbo heart lies politically -- PDP -- but that won't change the inevitability of Ambode's victory |

StBlack1: Voting Agbaje is not the problem. But the problem is What will you do if we rig your votes for Ambode?
The test of your fearlessness is not in your vote but in how you can stand the Oba if your votes are rigged.
So answer that Bro, leave matter, we are definitely going to rig this election for Ambode, so they can go and hang coz no way for PDP in Lagos. Make Dem bring all their family from village come vote and it will still make no difference. |

To be a Traditional head means to be above politics, but to turn around and start issuing threats puts the Oba of Lagos at the same level as Asari Dobuko Don't flatter yourself. Nothing will happen to Akiolu. If anyone is going anywhere it will be troublesome settlers like yourself who don't know their bounds. |
