infogenius:Isn't that what you all said right before the Feb. 14 one was postponed? Abegi. GEJ can't be trusted from here to there. |

How can our government claim not to be aware of this illegality? ? ? Do we even have a government? |
CEO Seun & Co. FRONTPAGE pls. Thanks in advance. |
The figures above are a CLEAR proof that the ONLY way Jonathan can win this forthcoming elections is via MASSIVE RIGGING. |
7 important figures about PVC collection rate February 28 by Taiwo George As part of plans to prove its preparedness for the general election, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released statistics of the distribution of permanent voter cards in all the states of the country and the federal capital territory. Kayode Idowu, chief press secretary to Attahiru Jega, chairman of INEC, issued a statement indicating that the total number of people who have collected their PVC as at Thursday, February 26, was 54,327,747. Below, in numbers, is how the distribution/collection of PVC has fared. 4,112,039: This represents the number of people in Kano who have collected PVCs. And, by the way, this is the highest by any state of the federation. A certain political party must be in jubilant mood seeing this figure, but we won’t say! 404,119: This is the total number of people in Bayelsa, President Goodluck Jonathan’s state, who now have their PVCs. Incidentally, this is the lowest PVC collection figure in any state of the federation. No need to mention the party that would have wished this figure was higher! 1,794,646: In Zamfara state, 1,794,646 of the registered 1,831,276 have obtained their PVCs. This is an impressive 90 percent collection rate; and it also makes the north-western state the highest PVC-collecting state by percentage. 808,590: If one were to play a game called words and opposite and ‘good’ were to be the opposite of ‘bad’, then ‘Zamfara’ would be the opposite of ‘Ogun’. The south-western state has the lowest number of collection by percentage, as only a miserly 808,590 out of 1,829,534 registered potential voters (representing 44.2 percent) have obtained their PVCs. In fact, as at February 17, that figure stood at 40 percent. 5,822,207: This is the number of people in Lagos who have registered to vote, making it the state with the highest number of registered voters; On the opposite end is Bayelsa, with a paltry 610,373 registered voters. But only 3,693,355 Lagosians have collected their PVCs, representing 63.44 per cent of those registered. 15,827,842: According to the latest update, northwest has the highest collection rate among the six geopolitical zones in the country. Out of a total of 18,977,731, PVCs have been collected by 15,827,842 – about 700,000 more than the previous figures. 7,665,859: Southeast has the lowest number of total registered voters, with 7,665,859. It as well has the lowest number of collected PVCs: 6,030,327. It is interesting to note that the number of PVC collection in Bayelsa state has not changed since the last figures were released 10 days ago, suggesting that not even one person collected PVC in the state in the past week. http://www.thecable.ng/7-important-numbers-pvc-distribution |
It's obvious GEJ and his handlers are too ashamed to run on his record of the past 4 years coz Nigerians are no longer buying their false propaganda as their lives aren't being transformed as promised. The economy is in shambles, bombings every other day, electricity supply is at an all-time low. It's little wonder that his handlers have now resorted personal attacks on opposition figures. Desperate moves of a hopeless administration. |

levelszik:And Goodluck is grossly Incompetent, period! |
cross50:We SW Buhari supporters will not only keep our Change, but we are also keeping our votes from the Clueless One, in effect terminating his second term ambition -- since even he knows his ambition will remain but a mirage without our votes. Now Choke on that! |
GEJ Has noticed that his bribe money isn't yielding results so he's decided to cone and do the job by himself. I imagine how many times he must've prostrated to our Obas. O sese bere ni. |
According to a source, some close political leaders had informed Jonathan that for him to win March 28 poll, he needs to win the South-west. The zone has the second highest number of voters in the country, after the North-West, where the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Major General Muhammadu Buhari, hails from. |
Jega ain't going nowhere. GEJ No Fit! I dare him to remove Jega. |
So Jonathan is just learning that his SW campaign team are ineffective? ![]() But it's not their fault na, we South Westerners just ain't buying his B.S. And no amount of bribe in dollars and pounds will change that. FrontPage pls. Cc Seun and mods. |
01 Mar 2015 President Goodluck Jonathan recently made a last-ditch effort to woo South-west voters through the traditional rulers. Ademola Adeyemo reports In what political observers have described as an attempt to be in control of his own destiny, President Goodluck Jonathan recently visited the South-west geopolitical zone in continuation of his consultations with stakeholders, including traditional and religious leaders, ahead of the general election. It was learnt that the president’s latest move was informed by reports that some of his foot soldiers in the South-west were not doing enough to sell his candidacy and mobilise people for his re-election bid. Jolted by this negative report, Jonathan was said to have decided to seize the opportunity of the election postponement to try to bridge the political gap by embarking on solo consultations. According to a source, some close political leaders had informed Jonathan that for him to win March 28 poll, he needs to win the South-west. The zone has the second highest number of voters in the country, after the North-West, where the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Major General Muhammadu Buhari, hails from. Marginalisation Fears Confronted with the electoral reality and complaints about marginalisation, Jonathan embarked on a tour of Lagos, Ogun and Oyo states, believed to be the stronghold of the opposition, to solicit support, especially in the face of former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s exit from Peoples Democratic Party. The president was said to be confronted with the statistics, which showed a seeming marginalisation of the South-west. The president is from South-south, the vice president is from North-west, Senate President is from North-central, Deputy Senate President is from South-east, Speaker of the House of Representatives comes from North-west, Deputy Speaker is from South-east, Chief Justice of Nigeria is from North-east, and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation is from South-east. The president’s consultation commenced in Lagos, where he met with different stakeholders at the State House, Marina. However, PDP officials in the region were largely left out of the consultations. Among the groups he consulted with is the Yoruba Council of Elders. The council is led by General Adeyinka Adebayo, who is the father of the APC chieftain and former governor of Ekiti State, Otunba Niyi Adebayo. The elders were said to have raised the issue of the political marginalisation of the South-west with the president, who promised to reverse the situation if re-elected Read full article here: http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/jonathan-s-final-push-for-south-west/203009/ |
PDP knows they stand no chance of winning this elections with the use of PVCs and card readers, so they prefer TVCs which they have been agitating for lately but Jega has refused to oblige them hence their desire to have him out of the way. |
We know if Jega is sacked the new boss will most likely be a PDP stooge who will take us back to using TVCs that will facilitate their rigging of the elections. Jega by his antecedents is competent enough, let him complete this crucial task. |
DOA. GEJ can't win the kind of trouble he's inviting. At this rate he may end up worse than GBAGBO. If he's so sure of himself why resort to underhand tactics? This sort of antics only further prove that he is indeed desperate and unsure of victory at the polls. Jonathan, there's life after Aso Rock, trust me. Just leave jejely and go and enjoy your loot in peace, else.. |
He should continue with his madness. I believe that at this point the intelligent ones in our midst have stopped taking him seriously. |
FrancisTony:Whatever dude. I had to put you in your place after your over-the-board ignorant comment about Yorubas not being determinants in our own region in this election. As a Yorubaman I take offence to that. You goofed big time so no apologies from me |
Deltagiant:Listen punk, no matter how you choose to slice and dice it, the South West is OVERWHELMINGLY dominated by the Yorubas, and that includes Lagos. No amount of Igbo propaganda can contest that. Hence we will decide our own fate and NOT leave it to non-indigenes to do so for us. That we are accommodating hosts doesn't give especially South Easterners the effrontery to talk as though Yorubaland is a conquered territory where you have more say than we the true sons of the soil. You can suck on that. |
FrancisTony:Am sorry but gloves off. You sound like a fo.cking pri.ck. You say Yorubas are not a factor or determinants yet Jonathan is going all over Yoruba land buying and bribing for endorsements from their leaders. Last time I checked there are no igbo or ss aborigines in Yorubaland which is an overwhelmingly homogeneous region. So shut the fo.ck up coz you are talking crap. |
FrancisTony:You sound so fokcking arrogant. Going by the crap you are spitting one could be forgiven for think that South Easterners & South South non-indigenes have turned we Yorubaland into your people's conquered territory or colony. You're nothing but a pri.ck |
FrancisTony:March 28 is almost here, that is if Jonathan doesn't play another prank, we will see how much of the phantom army of SE and SS folks living in Yorubaland will save your hero GEJ. Just pls advice him not to postpone it again this time around. No more excuses about card readers or PVCs. Nuff said. |

john124:You sound so dum.b and silly. Was ISIS operating within American borders? Are ISIS fighters American insurgents?? It would seem that GEJ's cluelessness is contagious and spreading to his supporters. |
Jonathan is the one that should be jittery about being punished at the polls for admitting on record that he underestimated BH from the very beginning, in effect admitting his failure to prevent the massacre of over 10,000 innocent Nigerians from the murderous Boko Haram thugs. Those deaths could have been prevented if he had taken BH threats more seriously. |
olu77:I blame his handlers though. They ought to have gotten him a speech coach, or fire the current one. |
